Rewind 2

First, he would run away and leave me there. Scared of me.

Second. He would be scared and paralyzed in place. Scared of what I would do next.

Third, Probably accept it but I can't picture how.

I turned around and caught a slight smile that appeared and disappeared without a trace. Too fast but I was sure it wasn't an illusion. His body was shivering and trembling slightly. His eyes were shedding tears. Totally blew my mind. I couldn't figure it out.

Was he scared, excited, sad? Which was it? Was he relieved that I got out unscathed or happy I won?

I ignored that for now. To my surprise he collected himself as if to realize his reaction and led me to his apartment.

He treated my wound with utmost care. I loved his reactions to simple comments on my looks. It was my first time here actually. He never let me come no matter how many times I asked. I was starting to think getting hurt was a good thing. We showered and eventually went to bed.
