Asleep

Then he attempted to wake me. I was fine pretending to be asleep but it becomes a whole new difficulty when waking up. I ignored the first time he nudged me but squinted a bit and yawned. A forced yawn. Then I attempted to sluggishly open my eyes.

I was met with Jason's smiling face as if he had seen something funny. "You got drool marks on you." Oh. I was asleep. This was a first for me. I tried figuring out what made Jason's house feel so safe. I let all my guard down when asleep at his place. I was happy for my sharp senses but if he meant to sneak up on me it would be I would be a sitting duck.

"..stop it." I said pushing him away. I was half embarrassed of my state and half conscious of it. Anyways, I knew I did not want him so see me in a shameful state.

"Okay~ okay~. Eaten yet?" He teased and asked.

"No. I'm starving."

"Lucky for us, food is getting delivered soon."

"Thanks."
