The shocking revelation

The Royal Jet took off to the Star Hotel's Jet park area at the top of the hotel building. However, King Collins was impatient to get to the wedding before the bride's appearance at the altar.

Even though he knew the impacts of his son's hatred and the distance he kept from them all these years, he couldn't help his excitement.

King Collins also knew that, the extent of his son's hatred for him might increase in this action he was about to take by appearing at his wedding uninvited. In any case, this was a huge risk, yet, a minor price he had to pay so he could share a part of his son's happiest days, which rarely had any second occurrences. So he simply can't miss the opportunity of walking the bride down the aisle.

The brief reports feedback the King heard from Greg, the Prince's undercover crew, on their way to the wedding was that, the soon-to-be bride of his son didn't have a father to walk her down the aisle, so he hurriedly came without wasting much time, to snatch that small opportunity of being a part of his son's once in a lifetime wedding. It's an opportunity he wouldn't miss for the world or even get a second chance at if he missed.

King Collins got down from the Royal Jet wearing one of the best tuxedos which he had formally worn for his first marriage to the crown Prince's mother...Kate. It held a special spot in this heart all these years and wished to hand it to his son on his wedding day, but that wouldn't go well now...would it?. That was why he wore it instead, on this special day.

The presumed details with regards to how the wedding suddenly came about were still a mystery to him, since the information reported was that, the Chief Justice's Son and the Patels corporation heir were the supposed couple for this wedding.

Even though King Collins knew Greg might be hiding something more to the story than what meets the eye which he reported briefly, he knew it would be in the best interest of the Crown Prince. Otherwise, Greg wouldn't hide the actual detail about the matter from him, so he made nothing of it. Since Greg had always been more loyal to the crown Prince than anyone else. He was simply glad his son finally agreed to get married, and strongly hope the crown Prince would overcome all the tragedies of the past and bear an heir....something he knew would be difficult for him after what happened in his childhood. But he couldn't help but hope for that miracle too upon the arrival of his new daughter-in-law.

Nevertheless, King Collins wondered how his son pulled off this great news to get married along with his friend on the same day, but in any case, it seems he had his son's friend or whoever convinced his son to get married this soon, a huge debt.

Back at the palace, he had called his son Raymond to discuss the same issue about his marriage...or whether he already had someone whom he loved and would like to marry. And if not, the choice would be left to him to choose a bride for Raymond.

However, never in his wildest imagination would he have thought the crown prince, his son, whose abhorrence for love and marriage throughout the years had him extremely tensed with concern, would surprisingly lead the path to marry first...a fruitful direction in his life so far, and he simply can't wait to meet the reason behind this amazing choice of girl his son was getting married to...the real cause of his sudden change.

Whoever she was and whatever family she was from, he was ready to accept her and later train her as the soon-to-become queen of his son's reign in the future.

The door to the elevator opened on the last floor and the King came out in his perfectly well-groomed tuxedo which enhanced his amazing features...there was no need to look twice to see where the crown prince got his out-of-the-world extraordinary looks from.

"Wait here, I would want to go alone! I don't want to raise any attention to myself than there was any need to." King Collins order his two most trusted well-trained and efficient bodyguards to wait by the entrance to the wedding park.

"But your Majesty... at least, let Greg escort you so he could protect you in case of any loitering danger." One of the bodyguards tried to convince the King worriedly about his sudden decision to deny protection.

"Who would recognize me in this attire...you know the Angreda Royals rarely wore this and our lives are more private to anyone's attention. Going there alone will raise fewer suspicions about my true identity, and besides, My son wouldn't be happy if his huge secret about his true identity as my son and heir to the Angreda throne, gets revealed by my presence here...So wait! that's an order!" King Collins insisted firmly. This is where no other word is supposed to be said...Failure to abide maybe result in severe consequences.

King Collins quietly took his stance at the far entrance where the bride was supposed to pause to finally start her movements toward the altar.

Meanwhile, the unenthusiastic groom walked nonchalantly towards the altar to finally await his doom, as the expression on his face wasn't of a happy and eager marriage session.

Damien ignored all the swooning girls who raised their heads to stare at the approaching specimen of the world's gorgeous man before them until he took his stance at the altar alongside Edward, who was also lavishly dressed as well to fool the guests for the next section of their plots.

While some ladies were shamelessly flaunting their charms to entice Damien and draw his striking attention to themselves, others were simply admiring him before their eyes in bewilderment.

On the contrary, Darren Reed took the microphone to usher the commencement of the wedding with an unexpected speech regarding a delay in the changes in events unrolling before them, as Damien took the spot of the groom and Edward stood beside him as the Best-Man. Some attentive and observant guests realized the strange diverted stance exchange by both gentlemen and began murmurings amongst themselves.

"Wait...Is he the groom? why did he take the groom's spot and Edward stood like his Best-Man? Wasn't this suppose to be Edward Reed and Ingrid Patel's wedding?"

One of the guests asked when they saw what was displayed before them.

Even the Bride and Groom's parents stood up to figure out the awkwardness of the situation before them, until Edward went to calm his Dad and his future Father-in-law to be patient, before Darren finally noticed the whisperings of tension and restlessness amidst the seated guests.

"Are we in the wrong place or was there a change in the location? but wait! even if we were, I am not moving an inch! I am already captivated by the groom's perfect charms." Jenny Toss uttered to her friends, at the table occupied by the Youngsters. And all the girl's around her fangirled at her comments about the divine looks of the groom, while the guys amidst them scoffed at the obsessive exhibition of fandom which seemed to appear to an excessive degree from their escorted dates, like the jealous rejected dates to their respective girls.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am Darren Reed. I am sincerely happy to welcome you all as a host of this grand wedding between Edward Reed...my Brother, and his beautiful bride...Ingrid Patel, the only daughter and heir to the Patels Corporation's Harrison Patels." Darren's statements finally registered in the minds of the guests, since he just proved they were at the right wedding and location...for now!

"Before we commence, I would like to first apologize for a minor setback in our slight change in plans. You all are about to witness the taking of wedding vows, a marriage bond between My brother's Best-Man...Damien Spencer, and His future bride...Andrea West, who was the supposed Ingrid Patel's Maid of honor". And suddenly another round of murmurings and tension arose earnest questions of doubt and confusion amongst the guests' expressions and whisperings.

The Reed family and the Patels stood up worriedly, shocked by the turn of events, Mr. Leonardo Reed gestures to Edward to come over and explain what was going on and Edward had to plead with them to just have some patience and listen till the end.

"Calm down! everybody....silence please!." Darren tries to calm the guests before he continued after a fruitful success. Now, everybody was curious about the next choice of words that would explain the bizarre situation of this sudden marriage.

"This is about a surprise my brother, Edward Reed here, and His Bride, Ingrid Patels who is yet to join us soon, had prepared for their beloved friends, to fulfill a long-lasting unbreakable oath, between my brother and Damien Spencer back in college. They promised to get married on the same day." Darren uttered confidently.

Contrary to what they expected of slight frustrations after the revelation, some guests were surprised by this turn of events whilst others were simply amused by an immature Oath and were already excited to share a part of this strongly bonded best friends' oath coming into reality.

So there were chuckles and smiles in the faces of the once tensed guests. And Darren continued since all seemed to be moving on well and smoothly from the expressions before him and the guests' calm state at the news.

"Both friends even went as far as to toss a coin to see who gets to take the first marriage vow. Unluckily for my brother here, his friend Damien won the bet. So that is why he is the first to get married before your long-awaited bride and groom at the next session of the wedding!" Darren amusingly added pointing towards Damien who stood nonchalantly staring at him.

The huge park was now filled with enthusiastic cheers and waves of laughter at the two friends' teenage tantrums and cuteness, only to fulfill an undying Oath. The guests soon applauded with excitement as their go-ahead-and-proceed-with-the-surprised plans we-are-waiting applauses.

And Darren simply couldn't waste this moment to test the patience of the frustrated groom before him when he added an absurd comment which Damien wished he could punch the sheepish grin off Darren's face at his sudden words.

"So, to our groom here who has finally found his other half whom he is so passionately in love with." Darren mockingly meet Damien's gaze, who gave him a deadly glare. "We will now begin the ceremony." and he finally ended.

"The bride may enter." Darren's shout into the microphone echoed throughout the entire park as the guests applauded in their enthusiasm to welcome the soon-to-be surprised bride into their presence.

Meanwhile, King Collins was enjoying every minute of the events unfolding before him in eagerness to finally see his Son take the wedding Oath and resume his first step to a happy married life and the soon-to-be future King of Angreda!.
