The wedding proceedings were going on smoothly without any hitch. After Andrea was glamorously dressed in her most amazing gown and sat waiting for the next huge step she was about to take.
Meanwhile, All the attendants who helped in grooming her, were awestruck at her striking beauty, as they showered her with heartfelt compliments, which made Andrea blush until she felt her face was about to crack open from all her smiles.
She wondered why they all forgot that she wasn't the supposed bride of this wedding, but a replaced one. It seems they were simply pleased with what their eyes beheld 'The Most Stunning Bride' as most of them referred to her.
Nevertheless, Andrea tightly held onto the bouquet in her hands, all smiling but feeling extremely nervous. It simply felt like a dream, in a fairytale world. Especially when most of them took pictures of her, to capture her stunning beauty in these amazing moments when her life was about to take a turn. But she couldn't guess if it would be for the better or worse...She could hardly tell. All she had to do was surrender her fate to its destiny, and hope it sprouts out the rainbow colors of life, toward a brighter dimension...The colors of Fate! A mystery for all of them, yet, an eagerness to find out what would become of their future.
And it was nearly time as Andrea took her steps, accompanied by Ingrid toward the waiting room before her final appearance at the altar. Ingrid stepped out for a call, and never returned which increased Andrea's anxiousness. But the maid Bella, whom she had already made friends with, in her stay at the Dolphin mansion entered and marveled at the sight of her.
"Wow!.... It is true. you look extremely mind-blowing...the most beautiful Bride I have ever seen." Bella uttered upon entry, as she kept staring at Andrea from head to toe.
"Hello! Bella...It nice to see you here, and you don't look so bad yourself." Andrea returned her compliment with a bright smile. "Where is Ingrid? and why are you in that dress, I thought it was supposed to be worn by the maid-of-honor?" Andrea went on to politely asked, after she marveled at Bella's appearance in the dress she was supposed to wear, as Ingrid's maid of honor. She thought Ingrid would be with her, as her maid-of-honor now that she was the bride.
"I don't know, Ingrid told me to wear it. She was on the phone when I left her, I guess she will be here soon." Bella pleasantly replied, as she gladly took her seat next to the bride.
However, Andrea seemed to go deeply in thought by Bella's reply. What was Ingrid planning to do next? What exactly does she have up her sleeves?
Ingrid had obviously refused to share any details with her about the further plans ahead since she accepted to marry in her place. Just wait till I get a hold of her, she would vomit all the explanations whether she likes it or not...Andrea thought to herself.
Coincidentally to Andrea's thoughts, the door opened immediately and Ingrid snuck in. She whispered something into Bella's ears, who turn to leave suddenly, leaving Andrea to wonder what she told the girl.
"What's going on Ingrid...please give me some answers. Why all these secrets?." Andrea asked after she heard the door shut behind Bella.
Instead of replying to Andrea's questions, Ingrid simply dug out the wedding rings in her bag and gave them to Andrea. She wondered if Edward had the rings, so she hastily went to get these, just in case. Ingrid explained to Andrea how they were running out of time and she had to leave. To tackle other aspects of their plans, so that nothing would backfire from their well-detailed plans, into an unforeseen state of confusion later down the road.
Andrea However, understand what Ingrid meant, and excused Ingrid. But with the condition that, Ingrid wouldn't hide anything about the rest of the plans going forward, and Ingrid agreed before she left.
Andrea could already guess Ingrid wouldn't be present to witness the wedding procession when she saw Bella in that dress. Ingrid wished her all the best at her wedding and gave her a goodbye kiss on her cheek before she quietly left the room.
Well, as all these were ongoing in the bride-to-be aspects, why don't we see the groom-to-be side as well? Let's find out what's in store for us, on this big day. Damien's suddenly unexpected marriage, out of the blue.
In a different suite from where the bride and her entourage were, Edward had to also prepare Damien for his big day, any moment from now.
However, the proceedings seemed to be extremely tiring for our poor groom, who had a whole lot at stake, in his agreement to this wedding. His highly influential family was another matter to reconsider. But the only thought keeping him sane from the horror of this marriage was that, he was doing it for his friend, and how he repeatedly convinced himself that, it was only for three months. Which would pass by in a flash.
Nevertheless, He simply couldn't come to terms with getting married, and a real marriage too. But he wanted to get it over with once and for all. For his own sake, he was already cold feet at the moment.
Edward on the other hand, who was helping his friend get dressed as a groom, really appreciated Damien's sacrifice to wed in his place. Despite knowing Damien's contempt for love and marriage. It seemed that contempt built up since his childhood, and his Dad cheating on his Mom, traumatized him to the point, he held onto the solemn promise of never falling prey to the horrendous effects of the word called love. So Edward had to butter him up with comforting words. But it seems Edward's comforting words didn't alleviate Damien's tension the least, as he kept beating himself up for agreeing to this sham of a marriage. A marriage that could cost him an additional trauma, and torment known to no other but himself.
Damien and Edward had the same body structure and physique, even though Damien appears to be leaner than Edward. But in any case, Edward's groomed outfit fitted Damien to an exaggerated perfection, since they had to exchange their suits to suit their respective roles, on such short notice.
As Damien was getting ready to enter a new phase of his life, the overwhelming restlessness he kept feeling intrigued him, which he decided to simply ignore, and came out of the dressing room, in his groomed fitted well-tailored suit. Edward even had to marvel at his friend's godlike looks, which he simply couldn't get used to. Damien's looks were out of this world, even most of the guys they met at his bachelor's party kept asking whether he was an alien. His extraordinary features were bewitching, even as fellow guys.
"You wore it far better than I, and the color suits you much better too." Edward complimented the sulky groom, who ignored him and ushered towards the altar.
"Let's just get this done and over with!" was all Damien's statement to his friend's compliments.
However, Edward who was behind Damien as he led the way, was simply amused, when Damien strode faster towards the alter after they exited the elevator, and towards the venue park, to avoid the staring looks from the guests, who kept ogling at him for his striking appearance. Damien's looks mostly call for an outrageous amount of attention, especially when he was this groomed to an extreme, due to his wedding, which made matters a whole lot worse.
"Who is he? Is he a superstar!" A girl from amongst the Youngsters called her friends attention to the approaching Damien.
"Ooohh!.....I could stare at him all day, and never quit." Another friend uttered in reply when she turned out of curiosity at her friend's comment.
Even a daring sophisticated lady, not far from where the Youngsters stood and were about to take her seat, paused in admiration of the approaching prince charming, she even tried her luck to approach Damien when she realized he was alone and without a date.
"Would you get your hands off me, My bride is waiting at the altar." was Damien's response to the lady's reaction to cling unto his arm. But she paused to wonder at Damien's statement or whether she came to the wrong wedding since she knew Edward Reed, the Chief Justice's son, was the groom to be.
Better still, she wouldn't move an inch even if she got the wrong address, since the guy had already captivated her interest. So she would stay glued even if it's to simply stare at this groom in particular.
