Sam left and I walked upstairs. I opened Brock's door.
"Here's Johnny!" I yelled as he looked at me.
Brock stopped looking at me and continued to clean his glasses.
"Seriously?"
"Hello, Evan."
I rolled my eyes and sat on the edge of his bed.
"Fuck you too then."
I saw his shelves.
'So boring!' I thought as I noticed one book was out of place. 'Odd. He normally has every book in a specific spot.'
"Don't touch it." he said loudly.
"Okay, jeez." I thought about something. "Is this for Lucinda?" I asked, annoyingly.
"Yes. Problem?" he said as he put his glasses back on.
"No."
'Nerd.' I thought.
"She'll let me read a book of hers, so I'll let her keep that one."
"Why can't you keep hers?"
"It's something she cherishes, so she'll want it back."
"Girls, am I right?"
"Shut up." Brock was annoyed by now.
"How about I help you two become friends? I can leave." I said.
"What about Samantha?"
"She walked out a few minutes ago."
"Okay. Fine, just get out of my room."
"I'll make sure to." I said as I slowly walked out of Brock's room.
I went into my room to get my shoes and jacket.
'I hope I can be the next Cupid. Those two belong together.'
