Collection of My Drafts

Hello everyone. Here's a collection of my unfinished drafts, chapters I for some reason, fail to come up with a good follow-up. Why publish them? Because I figured that the time I took to write them would at least serve a purpose other than to help me with my written English. Why read a bunch of chapters without follow-up? Well, that's a good question. I can understand that reading something without a story behind it is frustrating but I do it first and foremost to try to figure out why exactly I cannot be satisfied with my work. Who knows? Perhaps if you guys give me enough advice and particularly like one of the ideas I exposed, I could try writing it for real. Anyway, I'm exposed to criticism and would like to hear your guys' opinions on those chapters. By the way, if one of y'all wants to write his own story inspired by one of the chapters they are free to do so. However, the last thing I want to see is copy/paste of those chapters. After all, it is still stealing intellectual property. If you guys see my chapters on another website, it isn't me, and would like to hear about it. I have hundreds of drafts to publish, but won't do it all in the same day. Put the book in your collection to stay tuned in.

Chapter 2 - MHA (2)

Following Aizawa's instructions, two students were each time led to the starting line of the 50-meter dash.

It was a short distance but the goal was obviously to have the shortest time.

Ken was quietly observing the first two classmates taking it.

A boy as tall as he was, with short dark blue hair and thick glasses took a sprinter position the two pipes from his calves a hint of his abilities.

At his side, was a petite, fair-skinned girl with a slender build. Unlike her more muscular comrade, she was not looking like the type to be particularly fast on her feet.

However, Ken did not dare underestimate her capabilities, after all, quirks are still a mystery.

As the two notified their readiness to their Sensei, a short but loud whistle echoed, signaling the start of the test.

It took a few seconds for them to reach the finish line, 3 seconds for the boy named Ida, and slightly over 7 seconds for the girl, Jiro.

With a nod, Aizawa sent to rejoin the class, calling the next two to prepare.

"Toyama and Midoriya."

Ken went to stand at the starting line, not bothering to adopt any position that would augment his starting power.

He was busy observing the green-haired boy that he heard was so powerful earlier.

'What is it? Some kind of strength enhancement quirk? Why does he look so frightened?'

While Ken was busy thinking about the other boy's true capabilities, Midoriya however was sweating bullets, trying to ignore his racing heart, beating fast because of the test AND because of the taller boy's gaze on him, as if he was a curious animal.

Fortunately for Midoriya, Ken turned his head and nodded at Aizawa-sensei, indicating that he was ready.

The blow of the whistle followed and Midoriya broke into a run with all his might.

Unfortunately, his training with All Might was focused on his strength, not his endurance or his speed.

The bystanders however were quite surprised by Ken, not even understanding what he did as the moment the run began, he appeared next to Aizawa, prompting him to stop his timer almost instantly.

They were all ignoring Midoriya's uninteresting run as they all had their all hypothesis about Ken's quirk. Almost all thought that he had a teleportation quirk.

"0.3 seconds for Toyama, 7.02 seconds for Midoriya."

At the finishing line, Midoriya was bent over in exhaustion.

'He didn't use his quirk? Is it only super strength on his arms or something like that?' Ken thought, curious about the other boy that seemed so impressive from Uraraka's testimony.

Ken himself did not attend the entrance exam as he went through the recommendation exam thanks to his more than impressive quirk... and wealth not that he would ever admit it.

However, he was not the only one to join through the recommendation due to his wealth or connections. For example, there was the infa- famous hero Endeavor's daughter Shoko or one of his parent's friends' daughter, Momo.

Unsurprisingly, Ken stood at the first place of the speed test, followed by Ida who had a quirk made to enhance his legs' power.

The next test is a grip strength test.

They were all handed a hand-held device and were tasked to grip it with every they had.

Ken focused on the device, thinking about how to use his quirk.

Soon enough, his grip tightened around the device and the number it showed rising higher and higher, even going past one of his classmates' scores that probably was the highest one.

Eventually, even the device couldn't hold it as it finally exploded in his hands, releasing a short cloud of smoke and lightly injuring Ken's hand in the process.

"Wow! That's some killer strength dude!" Kirishima that was watching nearby exclaimed, impressed by the sight.

"And I thought that Shoji's score was insane!" The pink-skinned girl approached, as excited as the red-haired boy.

"Is your hand alright, Ken-kun?" Momo Yaoyorozu hurriedly came to Ken's side, looking in worry at the bleeding hand of her childhood friend.

As the two families were one of the wealthiest, they obviously would have made their children friends since their very first steps.

At this point, Ken considered Momo as the sister he never had.

"Nah it's nothing much." Ken waved his hand around at such a speed that it became a blur for a moment before the moment he stopped, the bystanders eyes widenned in awe at his perfeclty unarmed hand.

"H-huh... What is your quirk Toyama-kun?" Ashido asked, curious about the handsome boy's quirk as he already showed multiple abilities that were too different to be from the same quirk.

"Nothing special it's-" His answer was cut by Momo's voice as she puffed her chest in pride, making her large chest jiggle.

"It's {Acatalepsy}!" Her prideful smile shone unto their confused face at the unknown word.

Ken couldn't help but smile at her antics, she always was strangely proud of anything he did as if it was her own achievement.

Seeing their confused state, Momo cleared her throat and repeated with a more understandable language.

"It's somewhat like reality warping, but on a smaller scale." She explained to the two students, but almost everyone now was either looking toward them or listening closely, unable to believe that such a broken quirk really existed.

A particular blond-haired boy and a bicolored-haired girl were especially looking at him, the first one trying to drill a hole through Ken's skull with his glare and the second one trying to carefully remember his facial features, eyes full of determination and defiance.

"What?! You are telling me that this kind of quirk exist?!" Kirishima shouted, shocked by Ken's quirk. "My quirk is so lame in comparison..."

"Don't forget that every quirk kinda have weaknesses. I absolutely won't say mine but believe me when I say that in some situation beating me is quite easy." Ken commented, kicking a stone at his feet.

His quirk certainly was powerful, but a reality warping quirk was certainly not unheard. Some villains or pro-heroes in other countries had some and they had quite the glaring weaknesses.

{Acatalepsy} or {Uncertainty Manipulation} just as it indicated, allowed Ken to manipulate uncertainty and pull off things that should be impossible.

Most people ignore his quirk or what he can really do. It is an unknown variable, an uncertainty. Which allow him to change it as he want, temporarly giving him instantaneous regeneration.

Obviously, the more powerful the abilities he gives himself, the higher the toll on his body is.

Thankfully, he found out that changing something else, while needing more juice out of him, was not nearly as straining.
