Days counting
1 week until the award ceremony... and I have never been more nervous, sleepless nights have become my greatest companion since I was aware of my nomination. I am still making videos though and and successfully gaining more and more subscribers each day.
"Evelyn, what are you doing in the kitchen ,this late?" I asked staring at her "n-nothing, I was just getting some snacks" she said with a weird smile " Eve, honey what is happening?" I asked having my suspicions confirmed .. she gave out a long breathe that I didn't know she was holding in ... "okay.. I was gonna surprise you tomorrow morning but now that you have guessed ,something is up.. I have to show you" she said... "you have to show me what ?" I asked "follow me" she said and headed towards her room with me behind her... she took a deep breath before opening the door .. and there stood Evander,my older brother ,who was in the military for 7 years..
It took me a whole minute to realize what's going on.. and then I ran up to him and engulfed him in a bone crushing hug, although his frame was much larger than mine,I managed to tackle him down..god I missed him.. " I missed you Der" I said earning a soft chuckle from him " get off of him sis , let him speak" Evelyn said with a cheeky smile and I obeyed ... "you have grown up to be so beautiful Ever" he said " well, you have become a giant" I said making the people around me , laugh. " After all these years ,you finally decide to show up huh... god... I missed you so much.." I paused "but why didn't you come to me ?" I asked ... he nodded slightly and said " because I wanted to surprise you as a gift for earning that nomination in that award show" okay I am hundred percent sure that I am red as a tomato now.
As I wake up in the morning ,I realize that this is the best sleep I've gotten in a few days. Finally my brother is home and now I get to share everything with him and go to places with Lyn and him.
Once I am done with my morning routine, I start to check my phone which , surprisingly has over 1000 notifications with one name common, Nicolai. I unlock my phone to see what is the matter and it almost brings me to the ground, the famous youtuber Nicolai Presley want's to collaborate with me. Where am I? Is this what heaven feels like ? Nicolai has been my inspiration ever since he started his channel, mostly because he was my age and secondly I've had a huge crush on him since forever .. He is everything a perfect man should be . He is tall, funny , handsome, kind ,helpful and not to mention he sings which has always been one of my weaknesses . I stare at my screen :
