Prologue

"Like mother, like daughter." They say,

They weren't wrong.

The high pitched noise filled the room, my head, everything. It was all I could focus on.

Then it hit me.

"I'm so sorry, Ms. Green. Rosalie couldn't fight anymore."

This was it. The worst pain I could possibly feel. It was like I felt my heart had a raging thunderstorm in it, lightning shocking me, ripping me apart every second of my existence. I wanted to die, I wanted to be with Mom. Dead. Laying there pale as I could ever be, empty.

Then everyone's voice rang through my ears as if it was overwhelming me. My sister Katie, my younger brother, Chase, my aunt Isabella beside me.

"Ma'am we have to use to the room, kindly vacate the room please." The nurse was silently telling us as the others were pushing my siblings outside.

"Come on, Katarina." My aunt guided me through the doors as the doctors were charging my dead mother's body with defibrillators.

"Clear!"

"Clear!"

Suddenly a loud ringing busts through my eardrums, it was stinging me, as if the sound was venom, flowing to my brain. It made me dizzy, I tried to tell Isabella, Katie or someone, but...

I woke up.
