Help you forget

Noah returned to their apartment. He had started to feel it was warmer and more like a home since Ivy started living with him. She added colour to his dark world. He took off his coat and hung it up, then took off his shoes. Walking into the living room traces of Ivy were everywhere, he smiled and entered the bedroom.

Seeing Ivy curled up in bed like a burrito he went to the closet picked out some lounge pants and entered the shower. He cleaned off the blood and sweat from earlier. He didn't want to pollute their life with any of his business. He got washed up and dried, putting on his loose lounge pants and entered the bedroom again.

This time Ivy was tossing and turning to shout. He realised it was a nightmare, he quickly approached the bed and sat next to her.

"Please no, let me go. Don't touch me".

Noah rubbed her face and woke her.

"Ivy, it's ok. Your home".

Coming out of her nightmare Ivy grabbed on to Noah's strong shoulders and breathed deeply.

"What's in your nightmares".

"Nothing".

"Really". Noah put her hair behind her ears so he could see her face properly.

"I don't want to even talk about it".

"Fine, I'll help you forget".

"Huh".

Ivy was confused for a second before Noah pounced and covered her body with his own. Tired and satisfied Noah turned to look at Ivy passed out asleep on her stomach. He smiled and wrapped an arm around her small waist. He thought he let those men off too easy.

A week later Ivy was sat on the sofa as Noah's ok out her stitches in her arm. She left better and the nightmares were happening less often. She thanked the doctor and was about to disappear again when Noah called her.

"As much as I love you as my housewife, it's been a week and you need to get out more".

"I'm not your housewife".

"Then prove it and get out and do something".

"No problem I have no problem leaving".

Noah saw the glint in her eyes as she said those words.

"You are mine and not to leave me".

"Mmm".

"I mean it". Noah grabbed her and made her sit down on his lap he held her face and kissed her with force and passion. He kissed his way down to her neck and sucked. Then he looked at her face that was full of lust and anger.

"I do want I want, when I want and with whom I want". Ivy then leaned over and bit his neck. "You like to leave marks so do I".

"Sss". Noah felt her teeth dig in and then her tongue licked his neck.

Both were being equally stubborn, neither wanted to back down. Ivy rolled her eyes and kissed Noah's lips softly.

"Fine, I have to Christmas shopping to do anyway".

Noah was happy at her playfulness and her response he took out his wallet and handed her his card.

"Spend what you want housewife".

"I can afford Christmas presents". Noah still held out his card, Ivy gave up and took it anyway.

"Why do you get to win every argument".

Noah smiled. "I'm a businessman wouldn't be a good one if I couldn't negotiate in my favour".

Ivy stuck out her tongue and left to get changed. Noah stood and put on his jacket. He left his apartment. Aiden and Thomas were waiting outside. As Noah left with Aiden he turned to Thomas.

"No mistakes".

"Yes, boss". Thomas knew he had to be more careful with Ivy safety from now on.
