Chapter 24: Chocolate

<Maria's P.O.V>

Hello everyone, I am here once again.

Okay okay, so right now I am going to the hide-out of my dear Brye. Kyaah. *Insert infinity heart*

Anyway, I brought my favorite magenta, shinning shimmering blingy shoulder bag.

I was not supposed to bring it, but I received beautiful wrap chocolate from one of my fans, and I want them to also taste it. Although the wrapper seems weird.

Well, how should I explain it?

Oh yeah, the cover is color black and some gold on it, then at the back has a picture of a fiery orange bird, and on the top of it was a skull with cross bone, it really weird. On the note, not top of the gift wrap, says that it came from 'Curse Phoenix'.

I wonder who is that 'Curse Phoenix'?

Although for some unknown reason, I had a biggie, biggie bad feeling about it.

I just don't know what it is.

As I enter, the first person I saw is baby Renzo.

He is looking at the ceiling, he is not wearing any glasses today while sitting on the sofa, both arms are on the backrest of the biggie sofa, then his legs are overlapping to each other, I mean his right leg is on the top of his left leg.

"Baby Renzo. What's the problem?" I ask as I put my hand on my hips.

He just glances at me then closes his eyes.

Oh my goodness. I can't believe this. Baby Renzo just ignores my beauty.

"Elle?!"

I look at that heavenly voice I just heard. It is my beloved, dear Bryan.

I can't help but smile as I enjoy the most wonderful view in my eyes.

Oh, my dear Bryan.

I had an idea, why not try to sneak behind them so that I can surprise them.

"Yeah. I never had one. Did you read it?"

Wait, isn't that my twin sistah voice?

Read? what are they going to read?

Oh my, Don't tell me it is a love letter?

But... from whom? and for who?

"I didn't read it." my dear Brye.

Read again. Why do they keep talking about 'read'?

"Does the others know?" Baby Elle asks as she takes hold of something.

Oh my goodness, looks like our baby Elle is starting to have a love life. Hihihi.

I was about to sneak behind them, but my attention was caught by the letter because I saw the same design and logo on the gift box I receive.

"Curse Phoenix?" I say. Wait, why do they have that?

They both look in my direction, especially baby Elle, it felt like she's looking at me with such passionate eyes.

Baby Elle, stop staring at me like that, you make me blush you know.

"Maria. Did you receive a box of chocolate?" Baby Elle asks.

Eh?? Box of chocolate?

"Yes. Why?"

"Where is it?" Baby Elle asks.

Oh my, "I never thought you're interested in chocolate now." I say as I search for that chocolate that had the logo of 'Curse Phoenix'.

Where is it?

Where did I put it---

Aha---!!!

Huh?

The box of chocolate suddenly disappears from my hand because baby Elle suddenly grabs it from my hand then runs away.

I can't help but pout.

Baby Elle sure is excited for the box of chocolate to be that greedy.

Oh well, I should buy----

*BOOM!!!*

???!!!

What was that?

We all look to each other, then run upstairs, where baby Elle just ran to, but there is no shadow of hers even we run to the third floor.

We tried to search but she is not really there.

"On the ceiling." point baby Renzo.

We all look up.

"What about the ceiling? we need to see baby Elle, not the ceiling. seriously." I tell him as I roll my eyes.

"She might be--"

"I found a ladder." cut off my dear Brye.

"What will you do with the ladder? we need to look for baby Elle."

"She might be on the rooftop." Baby Renzo.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh come on baby Renzo. It is impossible that baby Elle is up there."

"We will go up. If you don't want to follow, then just stay here." then Baby Renzo climb the ladder, even my dear Brye did the same.

I puff up and pout.

What do they think of baby Elle, some kind of superhuman? Ugh.

I look around.

"Wait for me." then I held on to the cold metal ladder.

Ahh, going up is super scary, the ladder keeps on swinging...

But, but, but...

I don't want to stay down here alone.

"Maria Victorina, a little more and we can go up there. But this is super scary."

I really wanna cry, but just a little more.

I feel like I found an oasis when I am on the topmost.

The first thing I saw is a lot of shattered glass, then I look up at the back of my twin sistah.

"Baby Elle, you are actually up here. Seriously---"

Huh?

Why does my face, I mean, baby Elle's face has a wound?!

I was about to ask her but stop as I see her face without glasses, and her yellow orb eyes have a wave of burning anger in them...

It was like a tiger ready to bite prey anytime...

Eh?

Why is she like that?

<Elena's P.O.V>

I open the letter and read what is written in it.

I know your wondering, how did I know your damn name.

Well, whatever the reason.

All I can say. How dare you take my man?! You're definitely gonna die.

P.S. I give a gift to you. Some chocolate holding by you idiotic bitch sister.

I wonder if she was still alive from that bomb.

"Cursephoenix" We both look at the voice, it's Maria.

"Maria. Did you receive a box of chocolate?" I ask in urgency, I had no time to explain.

"Yes. Why?" She asks as she looks at me.

"Where is it?" Just give it to me. I cuss. I don't want to explain knowing her naive attitude.

"I never thought you're interested in chocolate now." then she searches inside her shoulder bag.

When the black dreamy design box is held by Maria's hand, I snatch it away then run upstairs not caring about them, because I can hear a ticking sound inside it.

I know this is a bomb. No time to think.

I saw a hole in the ceiling, going to the rooftop. There is no staircase.

With gritted teeth, I ready myself as I put all my strength on my legs and jump up, and held the hard stone around the hole, and then climb up.

After that, I throw with all my strength the box.

*BOOM!!!*

Then a shred of glasses scattered in the air as some go in my direction.

And like a slow-mo, I see every glass that went toward me, just like what happened before when they tried to shoot me. (See chapter 7)

I dodge them as fast as I can, not caring that my glasses fell on the ground, causing me to accidentally step on them, although one of the broken glass has wounded my cheek, as I feel the pain and a wet liquid flowing out from it.

Now, they have done it!

I'll gonna kill those bastards!

Then I felt a presence behind me.

"Baby Elle, you are actually up here. Seriously---" It's Maria's voice.

I looked behind me to see my beloved childhood friends.

'Curse Phoenix'.

You dare to touch people I cherish.

I don't give a damn even if you are a mafia or any dangerous people.

No one dares to touch my people and get away with it.

Just you pray that I won't be able to see you because once I do, I will make you suffer until you beg for me to kill you.
