After that day Anna feels that Rowan stalked her. She finds him everywhere.
The next day when Anna is on the way home she sees Mateo coming toward her. Anna skips the beat and freezes in her spot.
She wants to run but her legs don't support her. Mateo reaches toward her and without looking into her eyes just asks: How are you, Anna?
For the first time, Anna sees him so close she just simply said: I'm Better now, Thanks for saving... But without listing to another word Mateo go back home.

Tomorrow is Halloween and a girl named Lily invites everyone into her home. Anna prepared her mind not to go into her house she seems upset, and she doesn't want to celebrate this Halloween. She's thinking about the last Halloween when her parents were alive and they were just like others, a happy family .but this time everything just changed.
In the evening Natasha comes and gives Anna a werewolf costume for the party.

Anna remembers that he saved her life so she doesn't behave rudely she smiles and said thanks.
Lily's house is so big and everyone is in the big room where the majority are standing and talking with their friends. In the mid of the room, there's a big Lantern hanging on the roof.
When the party is going to be over. The lantern falls on Anna.Some glass stabed into her hands, she feels so pain.
But as she opened he eyes
She sees that Mateo saved her by pushing her from the spot. Mateo got injured and many big and small pieces of glass were stabbed on his body, a lot of blood flowing on the floor some students were screaming someone is in shock some helped Anna and Mateo to sit on the couch, Lily and Gael first reach to both of
them.
Lily got the first aid kit and try to wipe out the blood from Mateo's forehead but Mateo snatched it from Lily and turned to Anna some glass was stuck in her hand but she was not that injured like Mateo she insist to take first aid for yourself but Mateo's isn't listing to her.
He takes out the piece of glasses carefully from Annas' hand and gives her first aid. Anna looked so confused and thinking about how he able to tolerate that much pain.
Then Anna takes cotton from Mateo's hand and helps her to clean her blood.
After all the mess...
Anna goes home with Mateo as he's her neighbor. Anna tried to say thanks but Mateo said: "No need to say thanks just be careful, anything happens anytime". Anna looked confused but didn't say anything.
On the next day, Rowan comes to Anna in school when she's with Natasha and confesses his feeling for Anna.
I know you don't know me too much, but I know everything about you, since 2nd grade I had a crush on you. I know after the death of your parents you don't want any kind of mess in your life but trust me, Anna i-i really love you. And protect your entire life. (Anna looked so stunt and confused that the words don't support her).

Rowan falls on the ground, Natasha and Anna looked confused. As Rowan stand, he tries to punch Mateo but he stopped and twist her hand in such a way that Rowan's back is in front of Mateo's chest. OWWWW!

Anna and Natasha don't hear what Mateo said but his expression tells that something is not right.
Mateo free Rowan's hand and after staring at Anna for a second, he goes toward Gael.
Anna and Natasha asked Rowan what happened? What did he say?
Rowan sees Anna and smiles Softly and said " "Nothing serious. You know boys just meet like that "
"I never knew that you two were friends". Anna said. Like so much deep friendship Natasha said and laugh. But Anna doesn't satisfied with Rowan's answer. At the Halloween party, we two talked so much that we became friends. Girl don't be jealous your the only one whom I loved the most. Anna smiles softly but still, she's not satisfied.
Watching TV Anna thinks about her situation, her feelings for Rowan, or maybe her feelings for Mateo. She was confused Because all in this mess she feels some kind of attraction for Mateo but Rowan likes her and she can't decide who to choose. Her mind says that Mateo is not the right person his eyes tell everything and Anna feeling tells her to stay away from him, stay away from danger.
But her heart says, Mateo is the right person for her after all, he saves her from all the situations, the Lantern, the fire, and also from Emily. EMILY! she suddenly remembers about Emily and another thought takes place in Annas' head.
She remembers Natasha we're telling her about Emily, some kind of rumors.
Without wasting time Anna calls Natasha and tells her to come to her home.
What happened girl why are you in hurry. Is everything alright

When Natasha comes Anna immediately asks her about Emily. Dude! give me a second to catch my breath. Sorry, but I want... i-i am curious about Emily. She only come to school like five to six times and when she come she never faced me or bully me.

Okay, I like to read about werewolves stories but that is so lame. I mean okay if his face turned into a werewolf why can't we see anything.
And then. Anna said.
Then just Emily runs from the cafeteria that's all.
Anna could not process all these things, she knows something is wrong but on the other side, she also can't believe a single word about Mateo's becoming a werewolf.
The next day Rowan can't come to school.
Like exactly that's how he protects me. Anna thought. She call him but he did not pick the call.
In the evening, Rowan comes to Annas' house. when Anna opens the door he looked in horror. Anna gives him a glass of water and asked her. What happened Rowan? Why you so freaked out? And why you didn't come to school and picked my call?
Rowan said, "He's not human he's a monster i-i see that - yeah I see that, with my own freaking eyes, I see that".

Anna stands up to take medicines from her room. But Rowan stops her and said loudly. "ANNA WHY ARE YOU NOT UNDERSTANDING". And starts crying.
Anna didn't understand what was happening or what he was trying to say.
"ANNA MATEO WAS A WEREWOLF"
Anna goes in shock .wh-what are you saying. Are you crazy.
Look last night at about 10 pm I saw Mateo and Gael going to the forest. It looked so confusing so I followed them.
In the middle of the forest, they entered in some kind of a rubbish abundant house. When I looked from the window. I saw Gael tied up Mateo from big and heavy chains.
(Anna looked so scared not from the story that Rowan telling her but from the Rowan, he looked mentally ill)
I waited for a long and thought about what was happening here, and when I'm about to leave I saw Mateo turned into a werewolf. His eyes go wide and his nails were so big, his mouth, his body, his ears everything changed.
He tries to attack his own friend.And- and I know y-you don't believe in me I know it's so weird but it's not the first time that Mateo turned into a werewolf, but it's a circle that happens after every 28 days.
Anna points out those books that Rowan gripped tightly.
That's the proof that whatever Im saying,is true.
