Chapter 3

Lumi's POV

Today's Monday and they'll be posting the results today, I really want to get in. Please let me get picked. It's break time, we better hurry up to check it.

"Hey, relax... I'm sure you'll get picked" Arisa, my best friend told me. This crazy girl really does now me.

A lot of people are gathering in front of the bulletin board, well that's to be expected. All the clubs results will be posted today too anyway. It's crowded, I can't get near.

"Want me to shout so you can get near?" Arisa crazily suggested. Acting as if she's about to shout, I quickly covered her mouth and just pulled her forward for us to squeeze in to the front. *Phew* That was close, knowing this moron, she'll clearly shout without caring about what other people say. "We're already in front, so don't get any crazy idea now"

I looked up the bulletin board at the side of the Arts Club and looked for my name.

Lumi... Lumi... Lumi Shelegiel! oh there it is. I got in!

I was hugging my best friend when I caught a glimpse of someone sipping from a chocolate drink suddenly looked at me and smirked before she left. Uhm what was that? Is she looking for a fight? but that doesn't seem like it. It's like she's saying something with that smirk but I can't understand it.

Oh well, it must be my imagination. I don't even know her and vice versa.

"This calls for a celebration, right Lumi?" Arisa said taking my attention. I smiled and said yes then we head to the cafeteria to grab some food.

I'm so happy, I got in. I'm not that great at it. But art is my passion. So when I heard about this club, I still participated in the audition even though I'm already a senior. Well it's not like there are only few seniors there, I say there's quite a lot.

The Singing club doesn't have that much activity so I think I won't have any problems in dealing with both of it.

We're walking in the 3rd floor on our way to our room when we passed by the room beside ours. There's music coming from it, it was slightly open. I can see a figure of someone but I couldn't see it clearly 'cause the door isn't fully opened.

Hmm I guess some people are really that talented compared to me.

"Yo, they said that there will be a club meeting tomorrow lunch" July informed me, don't get it wrong ok? she's a she, She just have a short hair. She also participated in the audition last friday and consodering that she's really good at it, I think, her getting in is an expected outcome. "How did you know? was there an announcement posted?" I asked her.

"Nah, one of the students nextdoor informed me. I think he's also a club member" she said. "Oh well Maxie, Jess and Jarvin already knows it, I guess the news haven't reached you yet" -July

"Come to think of it, Jess was mentioning something that sounds like that a while ago. Maybe I just didn't heard it properly"

"Well that's to be expected, you're absent minded most of the time anyway hahahaha Just kidding" Really? why mention what's obvious.

"You bitch" I said and laughed with her.

So there's a meeting. Why tomorrow though, it's a little early than the other clubs.

Stretching my arms I let out a yawn. I feel sleepy. I was a bit anxious about the results last weekend, I couldn't have a good night sleep. But now that I've seen the results, I can sleep at ease tonight. Yey!

"Hey! Rika's leaving already, you're not gonna approach her?" Arisa said and I quickly glared at her and pulled her out. Damnit Arisa, I swear one of this days you're gonna out me because of your mouth.

"Don't just barge in, in our classroom like that."

"Is that really what you want to say? haha"

Arrghh! Is this girl really my best friend?

"Oh don't be angry, my friend, I'm just giving you a push on your coward ass" She said while grinning like an idiot. "You're not gonna get on anything if you don't do anything girl"

"I know that, but it's not that easy. Let's just go home already"

We're on our way out of the campus right now, some students are chatting as they go or whatever their business is but what stands out the most are the group of students entering the campu, carrying a lot of things even the one and only girl among them. I can't clearly see her face because of the cap she's wearing, she seems pretty close to them, joking around like that. I usually don't like it if some girls hang out around a lot of boys but, they don't seem to give off the vibes of flirty thingy. I say, they all look like siblings together. They're just on their plain uniform but the air they gives off right now is kinda cool, how funny.

Class is already done though, why are they entering the school premises with those things instead of going home. Nevermind is none of my business anyway.

We continued walking on our way to the gates so we'll be passing those group of people.

Well accidentally, I bump unto the girl I was saying. She briefly stopped and for a second her eyes scared me. It's cold and I don't know, it's kinda hard to describe. But that didn't last though since she suddenly smirked at me then left.

I felt someone tug my bag and I realized it was my idiotic best friend. Right, we should go home.

No need to get involve with something troublesome. That smirk seems familiar though.

"What're you thinking? We part ways here" I heard arisa say. Oh my mind was floating on it's own again.

"Nothing, Go home now bitch. I'll see you tomorrow, don't be late" and I was answered by a loud laugh from this idiot, she really doesn't care about those who can see her.

"I should be saying that to you" She said while wiping the tears in her eyes from laughing. "Considering that there's almost not a day that you're not late, Gotta go, see you tomorrow freak"

"I'm home" I announced as I went inside our house.

"Welcome home honey" My mom said and gave me a hug, still as sweet as ever. No wonder father fell for her.

I really love my family but... arggh nevermind.
