Becca carried Arthur. The way she carried him was quite stiff because she rarely carried him in a standing position. Her son seemed immediately comfortable in his mother's arms. Arthur even smiled in his sleep. A warm feeling that Becca had never felt, she could feel it right then and there. She even cried and shed tears. And without realizing it, Tommy and his parents were looking at her.
She immediately wiped her wet cheeks and then lifted her face, looking at all of them. Her face looked embarrassed because it turned out she was looked at like that. Especially when she saw how Tommy looked at her with such a manly expression. And it was strange for her to feel this feeling.
"I can see how much you miss him, Becca. And I'm glad you can feel that," Lily said.
Becca felt bad for Lily because the old woman knew how she had always been. That Becca had never really wanted a child until that day came and she had this strange feeling.
