coffee cures all that's what they told me
but the nightmares still come back
I think it just makes them worse but I can't stop drinking it- I've grown used to it
it's bitter I used to like it sweeter
but I'll drink anything to stay awake
and so I started to drink it straight
I don't have time to question my Sexuality

he went into the coffee shop and ordered his usual and sat down at a table
when he looked in front him there was someone there and they seemed to be asleep
he poked his face but there was no response
so he shook him but there was still no response so he gave up and he ordered another coffee for him
he sat back down and waited and watched as he slept- he must have trouble sleeping like I do- why am I watching him sleep?!
then their coffee appeared in front of them
I picked up my coffee and took a sip
I grabbed a marker out of my pocket and wrote my number on his coffee cup
suddenly he woke up
Kaide P.o.v.
I looked up and saw someone in front of my coffee-
"huh? who are you and when did this coffee get here?" I replied
the man looked down at me and let out a laugh
"Well I bought it for you since you seemed like you needed it- did you not get any sleep?" he replied
"why would you buy a coffee for a complete stranger?" I replied
"because I'm nice like that- and I know what it's like to not get a good night's rest-" he replied
"you don't know anything about me and I could just have a long day-" I replied
"you mean a rough morning? it's only 8:30 am-" he replied
"it's that early?- ugh- wait- I've been here for two hours?!" I shouted
"two hours? you got here early?" he replied
"Yeah- I needed the coffee- of course I fell asleep-" I replied
"Well you have coffee now-" he replied
"Right- thanks I guess" I replied
I took a sip
"bitter!" I shouted
the man let out another laugh
"it takes a while to get used to but it helps to keep you awake and you know what they say coffee cures all" he replied
"Pssh- coffee will cure me? I need to sleep more- not stay up, how will coffee help?" I replied
"Well, it will make you feel better- at least-
you won't feel so tired anymore-" he replied
"I rather feel tired than wide awake- my head is already pounding enough-" I replied
"Just drink it- I know it's bitter but it's good honestly- and you'll feel much better-" he replied
"Fine- I'll drink it-" I replied
so I picked up the coffee and drank it
even though it was bitter I did feel better
I felt relaxed and warm- a feeling I never felt before and looked back at the man
and I felt my heartbeat pick up
oh no he's hot
"so it's good? you feel better now?" he replied
"I do feel better thanks-" I replied
"I'm glad and I'll get going now-" he replied
I grabbed his hand
"wait! what's your name?" I replied
"it's on the coffee cup- and what's yours?" he replied
"Kaide-" I replied
"Kaide? that's a unique name I like it I won't forget it-" he replied and he left
I looked down and read the name on the coffee cup

and underneath it was his phone number
