The two boys fall unto their back, writhing out with pain with a huge welt between the would be bullies' eyes. Bob runs over to the boys and kicks them both in their head.
The boys are knocked out cold.

Pete and Cindy were in a tender embrace, when the girl asks,"Pete, do you hate me?"
He turned over to his friend and said,"No, I do not hate you! You are one of my only two friends here in this place."
Cindy was opened mouthed by the response and said,"Who is the other one?"
Pete spoke,"He is my sharpshooter, Bob. He is not very fast but he has the sharpest eyes I have ever seen."
Cindy spoke,"You have to leave before the nurse or he…."
A look of dread envelopes the pregnant girl.
Pete could not help but see the genuine horror on Cindy's face, but he knew that he had to get back before bed check. He would be put in the isolation ward if he was late.
He did not want to leave but he knew that he could not live Bob hanging.
Bob was walking towards the vent where Pete was supposed to return from, when he hears grunts coming from the exhaust vent. He opened up the vent and helped pulled Pete out, who was covered head to toe in dust.
The two boys both cough as they wiped the dirt off them. Bob sealed the vent back up with a screwdriver, as the boys wiped the dirt off.

Bob and Pete were siting on their well made beds awaiting their monthly bed checks so that they could go eat their dinner that night.
Pete thought,"I am glad that I got to see that she was okay and I was surprised to see that she
was a mother to be. I heard of girls my age having babies, but she was basically a shut in. Who could be the father? He never saw any men around her when he living there."
Pete spoke,"There was no man that could had could be around except..."
He could not help but ponder to who had free reign on the property and he finally put two and two together. The boy was sweating profusely at what he was finally realizing.
Pete thought,"It has to be that demon that runs the place! It has to be! There is no other males that could be the father!"
The lad was in horror as he finally understood the sad truth about his friend, Cindy.
"Pete! Pete,"yelled the woman numbering the kids in the orphanage.
He returned to his senses and yelled out,"Here!"
The woman was holding a clipboard as she said,"I do not care if you starve tonight or not."
Pete walked to the dining hall. He got in line and received some food consisting of gruel and a hard piece of bread for his trouble.
Bob was not too far behind him and they ate in their usual table. The two boys always hated their meals, except when the inspectors were excepted to arrive and they got real food for once.
This was a special case, since they were hungry after all their effort to see Cindy this day.
Bob spoke,"Did you find what you wanted? You do not have to tell me if you do not want me."
Pete spoke with a smile,"Yes I did find what I wanted to find, but it did not want to be found."
Bob looked puzzled by the comment but left the matter alone for now.

It had been a week since Pete had last seen Cindy and he was worrying about her a lot. He had felt that her pregnancy had not been through mutual consist. That night he had a dream of Cindy sleeping in her bed, when Damion walked in.
Cindy awoke while screaming when her father turned to a demon. Damion then beat her and
raped her.

Pete woke up covered in sweat, while struggling to breath.
Bob was at his friends side with a hand on Pete's shoulder.
Bob spoke,"You were just having a nightmare. You are okay, because the nightmare can not hurt you."
Pete mumbled,"We have got to save her. You can not suffer one more day of abuse!"
Bob asked,"What are you talking about, Pete? Let me help you, since you are not alone."

Pete spent several minutes explaining who Cindy was and his experiences with her."
Bob spoke,"That is messed up, my friend. What are we going to do?"
Pete looked at his friend with a strong intensity as he said,"We are set this hell hole ablaze!
Bob put a hand over Pete's mouth to keep the whole room from knowing to what they were planing to do.
Pete whispered,"Will you help me?"
Bob looked at his friend while raising a thumbs up sign.

The boys spent the next day stealing all forms of burnable materials.
They started to burn them in the old wooden floor basement of the orphanage. The Bob and Pete decided to set the building on fire, during the evening staff change when the adults were paying the least attention.
Everyone was taken by surprise and all of the children were led out of the horrible place by Bob and Pete. The children had no time to fight, since they would all burn alive if they tarried.

Pete yelled,"Bob, we have got to get Cindy out of here!"
Before Bob could respond a voice spoke,"You are not going to do any such thing since you two are to be found burnt to death!"
The two boys both turned to their rear and saw a large man bursting out of the seams in anger.
It was Damion!
The boys were standing silent frozen in their fear. Damion was not a man to be fooled with.
Pete was punched in the jaw and knocked out cold by the blow.
Bob pulled out his trusty sling and prepared to aim at Damion's head.
Damion laughed at the boy's would be attack and said,"Give me your best shot."
Bob obliged him with two sharped rocks to his eyes."The evil man let out an intelligible curse and clutched his eyes, due to pain. He ripped out the rocks out of his bloodied eye sockets.
Pete awakens to see that bob had staggered his foe. He spits out some blood and a few teeth as he returned to his feet. He knew that he had to take advantage of the foe before help could arrive. It would be too late then.
Pete yelled,"Only trash prey on children and those weaker than themselves! You are the biggest pile of sissified trash that I ever seen in my life! Come and get me! You will never hurt Cindy or anybody else ever again! Come and get me, you *&^%$!"
Damion managed to follow Pete's voice and was almost on top of him. Pete then knelled to the ground. He pulled out a homemade knife and gored the man in the groin.
Damion fell forward with his hands around what was left of his privates.
Bob and Pete were lost in the moment, when they see Damion get shot repeatable in the back of
his now hole filled head.
The boys jumped to safety before the next five shots were fired.

The boys did not dare move until they heard the sound of a clicking gun trying to fire a
nonexistent bullet.
After a minute, Pete and Bob had gotten the nerve to see who had killed Damion.
They saw a young lady covered in a bloodied hospital gown
It was Cindy!
Pete sees that Cindy is still trying to shoot Damion as he try to stop her.
Pete ran over to her aid.
The two struggle as he yells,"It is me, Pete!

Just after the battle with Damion, Cindy, Pete, and Bob are still in shock.
Cindy is still firing at Damion when Pete takes the gun from her hands. She sliced his face with her long nails as he put his hand on Cindy's shoulder.
Pete yelled out loud,"Cindy we have got to get out of here before we burn to death.
She held her friend tenderly as she cried profusely.
This took Pete by surprise since Cindy had been abused by her father, a man. She had given Pete the benefit of the doubt that he would not hurt her.
Cindy looked up to her friend and said,"What are we going to do?"
Pete hugged her gently," I do not know, but we will find a way."
He knows that she is half naked, so he takes his shirt off, and covered her up the best he could.
Bob yelled,"Pete, we got to get out of here!"
Everyone runs away as fast as they can as Pete carried Cindy on his back. The trio then vanished into the nearby inner city.
