Chapter 7 - Complaints

As soon as he logged out of the game, he closed his eyes and opened them. The next thing he saw was a visor that was in front of him. It was the VR helmet's visor that he was wearing on his head.

He took the VR helmet and got outside of the capsule and went straight to his computer.

He turned on the computer and as soon as it was on, he browsed the internet and typed the SLO fansite url.

'SecondLifeOnline.com'

He pressed the enter key and it loaded for a second until he finally was on the site.

[Second Life Online - Fansite Community]

[+150 post about Second Life Online]

He was on the main forum and he sled down and saw that there were also subforums on the site. And one subforum had piqued his interest.

[+2 post about Markman Class

As he saw this, he swiftly clicked the subforum and he was sent to a different page.

He clicked the first post.

[MARKSMAN CLASS SUCK!]

[I had changed my class to the marksman class. As soon as I saw a gun when I was changing classes I picked it immediately. But, that was the wrong choice...]

"YOSHI! DINNER'S READY!"

He wasn't able to finish reading the post because someone had called him from downstairs.

Yoshi quickly went downstairs using the elevator that was located next to his room. He waited on the elevator to arrive at his floor and as soon as its door opened he went inside and pressed the button which has a number 1 on it.

[Going down to the 1st floor] A girl's voice said.

He had arrived at the 1st floor and went straight to the kitchen. He saw his dad who had already been seated, he went to his side of the table and seated.

"How's the game?" His dad had asked.

He had expected that his dad would ask him about the game, so he wasn't surprised that his dad had questioned him.

"It was great! No, it was marvelous." He replied to his dad.

His dad giggled from his answer, "Really?"

I just nodded, "The graphics are top class. It's really just like the real world."

"Do you like the game?" His father had asked again.

A bright smile appeared on my face, "Of course."

"I'm glad you like the game. Okay, let's eat."

As soon as his father said the go signal, Yoshi picked up the spoon and fork and started digging in the food.

As soon as he finished eating, he planned on going back to his room. He stood up and directly went straight to the elevator.

As the door opened, he went inside and pressed the button that has the number 3 on it.

[Going up to the 3rd floor]

Minutes later, he had arrived at his designated floor and went straight to his room.

As he saw that the computer screen was still on, he had just remembered that he wasn't able to finish reading the post because his father had called him.

He approached the computer and sat on the chair. And he read the post again.

[MARKSMAN CLASS SUCK!]

[-OneEyedMan]

[I had changed my class to the marksman class. As soon as I saw a gun when I was changing classes I picked it immediately. But, that was the wrong choice. The reload time was just too long. I tried killing a one-horned rabbit as soon as I had changed class but instead of killing it, I missed every shot and was beaten to death. I'm planning on deleting my account and buying a new one. Don't ever pick the marksman class. I repeat, don't ever pick the marksman class!]

As soon as Yoshi had finally finished reading, he felt like his heart rate had increased. He was nervous for a second but he calmed himself and thought that maybe the one who had posted the post, was just exaggerating about what he had just said.

He exited the post and his page reloaded.

As soon as the page finished reloading, the topic was bursting with posts about the marksman class.

From 2 posts about the marksman class, the page now has a hundred plus posts.

He prayed that the posts posted weren't all about them complaining about the marksman class.

He clicked the newest post, and to his dismay it was just a complaint. The one who had posted the post even cursed the developers.

[F**k those developers! If you are making a game, make it player friendly! How is it possible that even at 20 meters I had missed my shot!? …]

Yoshi quickly exited the post and opened another one.

[I bought this game for a $2,000 dollars and you just made a game that's f**k as hell!? Just die!]

He exited the post again and opened another one, and another one, and another one.

He had finally read a few of the posts and all of those were just them complaining about the marksman class.

He had finally burned out from reading, he turned off the computer and went straight to his bed.

Yoshi just layed down on his bed and remembered what he had just read.

He got frustrated. Yoshi stood up and he smashed, slapped, and threw a punch on his pillow.

"Ahhhh! I messed up! Why did you pick the marksman class Yoshi?" He yelled out in frustration.

After minutes of venting out his frustration, he had finally calmed down.

He went back to bed.

''I'm f**ked up.'' He finally closed his eyes and went to sleep.
