Stella walked out of the Special Nursery Room she wiped her eyes as she walked to her next destination, and after walking through a few more doors, she finally reached a Discussion Hall.

The Discussion hall was 40 meters wide apart in both length and width. On one side of the room were a few Doctors and Nurses waiting for her. All of them were much higher in rank than her.

Each of these doctors and nurses was wearing the unique long white face mask that covered their whole head, revealing only the mouth part. They adored more stylish lab clothes over their body, clearly showing their status...

As Stella entered the Discussion hall, nodding in her direction, one of the Doctors, politely instructed her to take a seat, "Hello, Code N-B-14-A345. Please have a seat. We will be talking about where you will be transferring for further assistance. We are grateful for your contribution."

Stella smiled politely and taking a seat, she said, "It was my pleasure, Doctor S-D-8-A182. Having to take care of Code 002 and 003 was very enjoyable. I wished that I could have kept that job."

Shaking his head, the Doctor replied, "That is... not possible at all. Doctor Franxx wants the experiments to fasten up now. We have given enough time for the experiments to grow up to the required age."

"Anyway, I will be providing you with the information for your next job. Your next job will be taking care of the newborn parasites that are currently newborns. For this job, you will be taking care of certain individuals. The Codes you are assigned to are from Code 666 to 686."

Saying this, the nurse standing by Stella provided her with a file with pictures and information about parasites that she will be taking care of.

Stella didn't understand why, but the picture of the first and foremost child with light brown hair and purple eyes attracted her attention. Her maternal feelings took control of her feelings for a bit as she caressed the picture a little.

But soon enough she came out of the trace and with a small bow, she thanked the doctor, "Thank you Doctor for providing me this opportunity."

"Don't thank me for this opportunity. It is what you wished for, and it was personally permitted by Doctor Franxx himself." The doctor replied something that actually astonished Stella. But in the end, she thankfully agreed.

Hell.

It has been a few months and the one word that Ryo can use to describe Zero Two's situation after Stella was transferred was none other than 'Hell' itself.

The experiments done on them previously can be considered child's play. If compared to the intensity at which he was going through recently, it can be said that it was increased by something around 10 times compared to previously!

There have been various instances where Zero Two literally passes out after the experiments, making it his own job to take care of her to not get any more injured, making her completely open to him.

It was not only her, even Ryo himself passed out many times. If it was not for him trying to stay conscious till the end to try to increase his endurance and numb his pain receptors, he would have been in the same situation as Zero Two.

Thankfully, it was as if the doctors knew both his and Zero Two's limits, they left them on the verge of getting unconscious, continuously testing his and Zero Two's limits of capabilities. Thanks to those experiments, the speed at which he was growing was so fast.

Although they haven't truly seen the true potential of their 'evolution', Ryo was sure that it was also at its limits on each test, helping him strengthen himself faster.

If previously he was looking like a 5-year-old child, now he looked like a 7-year-old child with a vague pack of muscles in development. This also increased both of their appetites, but from Ryo's perspective, it was for the best. This was doing nothing more than helping him quicken his plan.

As for the problem of food and nutrition, they were thankfully provided with triple the amount of food that they were given previously. 

The second thing that changed was that instead of Stella coming to deliver the food, nowadays, there are multiple individuals that will enter the room they reside in and start to teach them, what he assumed was the 'Japanese' language of that world.

If they answered and repeated some of the words correctly while also solving the small easy quizzes, they were given tastier food. The only problem was that if they did something wrong, they were treated with a small weak taser, which made one feel very painful, even with their endurance to torture.

In the end, if we get multiple of them incorrect, they will be given the old ugly green bitter jelly stuff that they previously ate.

This made Zero Two feel a bit challenging, but with the help of Ryo, she started to absorb the new knowledge as time went on. After all, having a bloodline of Klaxosaur is not something to scoff at.

Their brain capabilities and capacity were increased by the bloodline, which was aided by the continuous evolution that they were going through almost every day, increasing their stats every passing second, although by a very very small margin.

Ryo didn't know the limits of the evolution that he saw and was going through every day because of the Klaxosaur bloodline, but considering that Klaxosaur were able to literally become the size of an Island

And even with those huge bodies and the capabilities of having super-fast regeneration, shape-shifting, moving at sub-sonic level, and even then they can literally jump several hundred kilometers, he can say for sure that it was a hell of a bloodline that one can ask for.

Klaxosaur bloodline is no joke, even with the current body of a 5-year-old child, he was like thrice if not fourfold stronger in all stats compared to a normal human. He always wondered what would happen if he was able to unlock the true potential of his bloodline. 

It was just that exciting.

Even Ryo himself had underestimated the bloodline too much.

"Zero Two. Zero Two! Wake up!"

Slightly shaking 02's body, Ryo started to try to wake Zero Two like regular days. With the amount of experiments they had been going through, they felt burnt out every day. They were not only exhausted both mentally and physically.

He was also sure that Zero Two had started to show signs of Aichmophobia, a phobia of sharp objects; and had started to show signs of slight mental trauma and PTSD, because of all the experiments.

This had caused her to have an exhausted mind and irritated personality for the most part. Thankfully, for him, Zero Two had already become completely dependent on him. She asks for even the small things when they are together.

"Hmm... Just a minute more..."

Rubbing her eyes a bit and yawning cutely, Zero Two lifted her body and lazily rested herself over Ryo's body. 

Looking at Zero Two, who's resting her body cutely against his body, Ryo feels conflicted. His main worries consist of the idea of her becoming too obsessive over him. 

He was not narcissistic, he can say for sure that he had one of the best 'protagonist' looks. His white hair and deep purple eyes that shore like jewels, were so beautiful that he even heard many doctors talk about it secretly.

It was not the main problem of his look, the thing is that since he has such looks, it is best for him to use his looks to his advantage. He can seduce, honeytrap, and make people obsess over his looks.

This would turn to his disadvantage if someone whom he had planned to use his body to use on, became too obsessive, in the short term becoming 'Yandere', and making a mess of his various different plans for the future, if there were any.

Captured in the conflicts of his feelings, a dangerous feeling of killing Zero Two rose in his head, which he quickly suppressed instantly. This back-and-fro motion of his feelings was driving him into feeling conflicted towards Zero Two.

He can kill her right at that time and gain a ton of UPs, but that would ruin his plan with the Strelizia and plan following it. For that reason, he had decided to at least wait till the end of this world to decide upon her fate.

'I hope you don't become too obsessive and get in my way, Zero Two. It is fine as long as you don't make a mess of my plan, but I can only hope that I don't have to kill you anytime soon.', For the first time in a while, he decided to keep that hope.

He had been hurt enough emotionally that developing feelings and trusting anyone other than himself was almost impossible. At max, what he can do is to keep her safe, away from himself. 

This change was the only thing that Ryo wanted to resist. But in the end, he could curse the 'curse' that has been embedded in his own 'Astral' body, according to the System.

It was not only the paranoia of faith in others, he himself had a paranoia of his own body. He feared that he would change, and he was already at the point where he could decide his fate and his future plan.

'I really really wish to kill Zero Two. But I also want to complete my plans and gather as many UPs as possible.', In the end, he had decided to not kill her.

Shaking his head, he lightly patted Zero Two on her head, and after a few minutes, he literally lifted her up, and forcefully prepared her for the daily activities.

This made Zero Two pout, but he decided to ignore her as she was complying with his action and let him prepare herself while enjoying the spoiling feeling that Ryo was giving her.

Zero Two loved the word and to whom it belonged to.

In her whole life, she had experienced mostly bad things, that she wished to never experience, but the only thing that she loved from her very heart was none other than Ryo. He was the only one who would treat her kindly.

He was the only one who was just like her, but still, he was much stronger both mentally and physically. He was always there, by her side, helping her with every single thing that they did.

She can't even imagine a life without him now.

She trusted Ryo with her full heart.

He was her everything. Everything that belonged to her was his.

No matter how much she tried to describe her feelings as, she couldn't stop herself from stopping. That was how deep her feelings were.

As they got ready, a group of doctors and nurses entered the room, accompanied by a few soldiers, each carrying a taser gun and electrocuting baton.

Zero Two would have instantly attacked any intruders if it was 5 months ago, but now she knew that resisting was futile. She had experienced it firsthand. She attacked a doctor due to her instincts, and she was not provided any food for a day and was even electrocuted.

Thankfully Ryo shared half of his food with her, otherwise, she would have starved a lot due to her actions.

But after that instance, she had been taught by Ryo to control her instincts whenever anything happened. Although it was hard for her to do that in the start, it became a bit easier for her to control herself from attacking others that easily as time passed by.

'It's just the voices inside my head that keep telling me to attack the 'Adults'.'

As they walked out of the room, they were brought to the laboratory, as both of them were injected with tranquilizing injections and were strapped to two stretchers.

Zero Two felt as if she was floating in 'clouds' that once Ryo described in the storybook that her 'mother' gave her. Her vision and brain had started to feel blurry within a minute of being injected.

This feeling lasted half an hour. But when her mind cleared, she found herself being blinded by a light source just above her body. Knowing full well what would be happening now, she closed her eyes, trying to adjust her eyes to the light.

She knew the place she was in. She hated the place and the light that was shining in front of her. The surgical light was one of the things that she hated to ever exist.

Soon an old man with a metallic chin entered her vision, making her body tremble in anger, her instincts were screaming at her. The voices in her mind were telling her to kill him. But she controlled herself while having headaches while trying to maintain proper will.

With the increase in intensity of experiments, she had been feeling weak by the end of each session. But she believed that they would not at least kill her anytime soon... probably...

Turning her head to her right, she saw Ryo strapped to the operating table, calmly preparing himself for the experiments that he would be facing, just like she used to.

Her thoughts were cut short as soon as the doctors preparing for the experiments had prepared themselves. Some of them looked at her health conditions, some prepared the equipment to start functioning, and some looked after Ryo.

"Commence operation."

A deep voice commanded. The old man with a metallic chin stared at the start of the operation with an emotionless voice while opening his notebook.

As soon as he commanded the start of the operation, a laser pointing machine aimed at her abdomen and cut open a clean wound, showing her insides.

As soon as that happened, Zero Two felt a bit of pain, it was painful, but thanks to the pain reduction injections injected into her body, she didn't experience as much pain as she used to previously.

Soon two mechanical hands quickly moved and captured the skin around the wound, keeping it open and stopping the wound from closing.

Today was the first time Zero Two felt a bit of relief as she usually felt excruciating pain when these experiments were usually going on.

Sadly this didn't last long as soon the doctors started to study her interior body organs, moving them to see the difference between a normal human and the Klaxosaur hybrids. During that time, Zero Two felt a bit nauseous, the same goes for Ryo, but they kept themselves composed.

This went on for a few hours where all the doctors deeply studied their bodies, taking notes during the experiment but this process didn't last long as due to the natural resistance of the Klaxosaur Hybrid bloodline, the effect of injections slowly washed away.

This made both of them feel so much pain that even Ryo himself had to grit his pain to control himself from screaming.

This didn't last long as Dr. Franxx had already noticed it and had predicted it, so with that, some of their interior organs were experimented on to see their natural regeneration to internal organs.

"GRAAAA! AAAGGHGGG!"

*Clang* *Clang* *Clang* *Clang*

The pain that this experiment made both of them feel was so hard to bear that both of them had to groan and moan loudly in pain. They both felt so much pain that their mind couldn't think straight.

Their mind felt cloudy with pain as the experiment continued where harmful chemicals were introduced to their internals, some of their body parts were cut off, and shots were fired to test regeneration, leaving their body in ridiculous injuries.

Unknowingly, a small boy with black hair and emerald green eyes saw all the things in horror.

"Hey! You! What are you doing here!? You are not allowed here! Return to the Garden immediately"

A deep voice scared the child as he was surprised by the sudden voice. Like a scared bunny, the emerald green colure eyes child ran as fast as he could and escaped.

This was a truly traumatizing experience for him.

Of the world he knew of, this was one of the few times in his life where he saw someone getting hurt by the 'Adults' and 'Papa' he believed. This deeply hurt him and his feelings as various questions and doubts were raised in his mind.

He had seen both of the children being taken away to the laboratory a few times already, and he had asked 'Mamas' about the children with horns But this was the first time he had seen anyone getting tortured so brutally.

And unknowingly, a feeling of saving both the children strapped, trapped by the 'Adults' developed in him. His thoughts ran, as he asked himself how can he leave someone to get hurt. He was unwilling to believe that he couldn't do anything to save them.

As soon as the voice called him out, he ran as fast as he could. Running through the corridor, he escaped the facility to the outside of the building.

The white snow fell on the ground, reminding him of the white-haired girl and the white-haired boy who was getting 'hurt' by 'Papa' and 'Adults'. This caused his mind to get clouded by tens of questions.

'Where is Mitsuru?'

'Who are the children with horns?'

'Why aren't the Adults giving me any answers!?'

'Why isn't anyone asking any questions!?'

Sadness clouded his mind. Just a short time ago, he had tried to ask the 'Adults' answers regarding the disappearance of one of his best friends, Mitsuru, or Code #326. But the answers he got were confusing to him.

Just as he walked on, deep in his thoughts, he turned his head towards the Nursery building with determination in his eyes.

'No. I have to do it.'

He had decided to find the answers by himself with all his power. But suddenly he saw something that astonished him, from the corner of his eyes. What he saw was none other than the white-haired boy and girl snatching a book away from a 'Mama'.

This suddenly awakens something in his mind.

He quickly spun around, ran to the side of the 'Nursery Room 3: Laboratory', and picked up a watch light used to illuminate the surroundings during the night time.

*Ughh*

Although he needed to use a bit of force to separate the watch light from the connectors and wires, he used all his force to fling the lightning object out finally.

Then with a bit of speed, he quickly reached the tree just by the window where both white-haired children were kept captivated.

It took a lot of force but the emerald green eye kid finally was able to climb up to the top of a branch just by the window.

It was a bit surprising for the kid himself as he didn't know where the strength to climb a tree with a heavy object came from, but he dismissed it as he was only thankful for the sudden adrenaline rush he experienced

'I don't understand anything but...'

Thankfully he finally climbed up the branch by the window and started to breathe heavily as he balanced heavily. Then he spanned his head forward and was astonished when he saw the white-haired boy looking at him.

Although surprised, the emerald eye kid pushed his body up, and shouted, "Get away from the window!", he pushed himself up shouting with his might, and using the same momentum, he pushed the heavy watch light device into the glass, breaking it instantly when he saw the white hair boy was away from the window.

Tears rushed out of his eyes, as he saw how bad in conditions his fellow children were. With the adrenaline rush, his mind was already anxious and the current sight made him cry instantly.

Instantly he walked down the branch, reached the broken window, and extended his hand, while crying, "Come this way! I can get you out of this place!"

*Huff* *Huff*

Both Ryo and Zero Two were taking deep breaths because of how exhausted they were feeling. Experiencing this much pain and going through the same pain for hours had put them through a lot of toll on their body.

"Dr. Franxx, Code 002 and Code 003 had survived the operation beyond their limits, it will be best to stop the operation as anything more than this might harm the experiments permanently!"

A doctor monitoring both Zero Two and Zero Three's heath condition commented, stating his observation. Today they had already pushed both the experiments beyond their limits.

Looking at both the Klaxosaur Hybrid's bad condition, Dr. Franxx thought for a while and ordered, "Stop the operation for now. We will continue the experiments next time."

"Also, relocate their habitat to a new room with their belongings. I want to see their reaction when they are placed outside their comfort zone with their current critical condition."

"But Dr. Fraxx... This might create a big trauma over their brain."

With a bit irritated expression, he looked back and ordered, "Don't ask unnecessary questions. Do what is told to you."

"I apologize Dr. Fraxx."

With the orders given, Dr. Franxx walked away, leaving behind the doctors and nurses to take care of the aftermath.

It took a while for the doctors and nurses to clean up the stuff and transfer all the important stuff to another room. After placing the stuff, most of the doctors and nurses left.

They left because they knew that with the intensity at which the Klaxosaur Hybrid had gone through, they didn't think that they had even a bit of energy to move, let alone attack anyone.

But during that time, one of the nurses who was there saw the book called 'The Love Birds' by their beds while moving the items.

Thinking that the book was useless for the Klaxosaur Hybrids, she tried to take it away from the children. 

This caused adrenaline to rush into Zero Two who barely stood up and captured the book that was taken away from her with all her might, trying to get it back while hissing in anger.

Knowing that it would not do any good to them, and he didn't want to damage the relationship he had built up with Zero Two just for a few UP, he also stood up and came to help Zero Two.

He did it for two main reasons. The first was that he would have raised suspicion about his intelligence and motive if he tried to give away the book willingly. The second thing is the same, to maintain the relationship with Zero Two.

He had already gained a ton of UPs while making Zero Two dependent on him. He didn't want to lose the effort he had made. 

With the joining of Ryo, the nurse holding lets go of the book in fear of being hurt. It was astonishing for Zero Two to be able to move but with the additional aid of Zero Three, she felt that she might get hurt, so let go of the book.

With that, both Zero Two and Ryo fell onto the ground in exhaustion. Lying on his back, he watched how Zero Two had tears flowing through her eyes.

A feeling of anger ran down his rage. He couldn't understand why he suddenly felt the anger, but suddenly a voice whispered in his mind. The reason for the sudden anger was that the thing on the 'opposite side' had felt their pain.

Just as he was thinking, his attention was attracted to something else. He moved his head to his side to see a small child, probably 5 to 6 years old climbing over the tree just by the window. The child had black hair and emerald-green eyes.

Just a look at the child's characteristics, he knew who the child was.

He was sure that it was none other than the 'Hero' of the story, Hiro. With difficulty, Ryo stood up and walked up to the window, but standing at the safer range where he wouldn't be hurt by the scattering glass that would be coming his way.

On the other hand, Hiro balanced himself on the branch and looked toward his destination and was surprised to see the white-haired boy standing in front of the glass window.

Although surprised, Hiro pushed his body up, and shouted, "Get away from the window!", he pushed himself up shouting with his might, and using the same momentum, he pushed the heavy watch light device into the glass, breaking it instantly when he saw the white hair boy was away from the window.

Tears rushed out of his eyes, as he saw how bad in conditions his fellow children were. With the adrenaline rush, his mind was already anxious and the current sight made him cry instantly. Instantly he walked down the branch, reached the broken window, and extended his hand, while crying, "Come this way! I can get you out of this place!"

This surprised Zero Two who was watching all this happen from the floor, she looked toward Zero Three, as if asking for what to do next. Internally she was anxious, wanting to grab the hand of the unknown boy and run away from the damned place.

As if noticing her eyes on himself, Ryo looked back at her smiled weakly, and shook his head, confusing Zero Two. From her perspective, this was the best chance to run away from this place.

'This the changing point. Hope the System gives me enough UPs.'

With that Zero Three calmly walked toward Hiro who smiled brightly looking at Ryo, not knowing what was about to happen next.

Zero Three walked up to Hiro, took his hand, and just as he was about to do something, a notification popped up, which he ignored and with a jerking motion, pushed Hiro down from the tree branch.

"Huh--?? Ahhhhhh!"

Astonished and feeling betrayed by the sudden action, Hiro screamed in fear and anxiousness as he felt the cold wind rushing past him and the snowy ground zooming toward him. He felt despair for the first time in his life as he saw the ground reaching up to him.

*Thud*

And with that, Hiro fell down from a several-meter-high tree, landing on the snowy ground with a thud as blood ran down his head, the main place of impact. With such an impact directly over his head, no normal human would have been able to survive.

Looking at the new notification popping in front of him, Ryo felt like smirking and laughing out loud. He gained 5000 UPs previously for making Zero Two dependent on him, but this reward was just on a completely another level.

With this all the knowledge that he had of the anime 'plot' will become useless for the most part as there was no mention of what happens to Zero Two during the massive time skip they had.
