Chapter 29 - Unexpected Expected Situation

With a tired rub of his eyes, Ryo looked in the air for a few seconds in confusion, but shaking away all the negative feelings, he felt grim about how he had made Zero Two feel.

'Why the hell did I say that!? I... Why the hell would I do something so stupid that can lead to something so bad!? I really need to get back to her and let her know that although I loved 'Nana' previously, it was my previous life!'

'I need to let her know that I love her from my new start...'

As soon as these thoughts emerged in his mind, he paused. His eyes narrowed down, as he started to go through his memories, and finally reached a part of his memory labeled as 'Do Not Open'.

"Bruh. This... Why the hell there is another 'Ryo' doing the same thing as the [Ryo]? Does it run in our blood?", With a speechless face, he pinched the bridge of his nose, understanding what had happened.

At that point in time, things like memory manipulation, personality, and feelings manipulation wouldn't work on someone like him. It was clear.

With his evolution, he had transcended feelings and things like love and hate. It was child's play for him to figure out that someone manipulated his 'emotions'. And since the system cannot interfere with his growth, nor can a higher being, this leaves only one single possibility.

With a scowl, Ryo stormed out of the lab, walking toward the other part of their bunker, where Dr. Franxx and his lab were.

If he was right, then the key to his assumption would be in 'Franxx's Brain'.

Knowing full well, he entered Franxx's room he looked back at Ryo who walked into his lab and asked "Lord Shadow... How can I help you with?", With a smile, he asked.

There was no abnormality.

Ryo ignored his remarks and continued walking toward him emotionlessly, making Franxx's face turn into a bit of fear as his smile was wiped off his face.

'Oh~ Looks like I hit the mark.'

"Si-sir?", With each step he took, Franxx walked back, scared of the empty face that stared at him. It was as if he had seen through his whole existence. But he knew he couldn't escape Ryo.

As expected, his back hit the wall. By the time he could react, Ryo was already in front of him.

Grabbing Franxx by his neck, he instantly placed his palm over his head as he tore the top of his skull off, making Franxx moan in pain, as his head revealed his brain. Throwing off the torn-off skull part to the side, he examined the brain.

Pocking the brain a few times and stringing the neuron parts of the head, he finally found it, the thing he was looking for.

Tossing Franxx off to the side, Ryo examined a small golden pill-like structure. 'This ball has enough nutrition to be maintained for two weeks.', After examining the 'small ball', which contained a small part of second 'Ryo''s brain, he looked back at Franxx who was lying on the ground.

Cowering in fear, he looked back at Ryo, making his face turn into a grin, "Oh my~ Are you scared of me? Let me guess what you are thinking, you are thinking 'What a fucking psycho?', right?"

Grabbing Franxx by his coat, he pulled him toward his face, looked into the eyes that revealed true horror, and joked, "Stop it~ You know how it ends!", his eyes narrowed as he joked. "Who told you to inject my DNA strand into yours and try to?"

He looked at Franxx as if he had seen something really funny and chuckled as he inserted the small 'ball' into the exposed part of Franxx's brain and left a small bug inside it to remove the memory.

Franxx had 'digested' the strand of his DNA which contained his 'hate' as well as 'love'. The first thing he was was Ryo, so now he was in love as well as hate with him. And these feelings will grow as time passes by. 

'All following the plan. This is borderline near to the 'restricted' line of the System. If I had tried to inject the strand into Franxx, System would have noticed and understood what was happening and what actually 'our' final plan is.'

It will in turn force him into an 'uncontrollable' stage, where he would be trapped in his body. Thankfully everything was still in place. 

Walking toward the part of the lab where he threw Franxx's head, he picked it up and after force-standing him, he placed the skull part back on the head, as it started to head; he patted and smiled.

"Good luck. Enjoy your time."

He then started to walk out, leaving behind a confused Franxx. 

As he was about to leave the room, a small [...] system screen popped in front of him, making him stop for a millisecond, but laughed it off as he started to continue walking back on.

'Kehaha~ Oh ho, so you are confused why I didn't destroy or alter the second 'Ryo' hiding in my brain and the failsafe 'brain' of the second 'Ryo', aren't you?', A smile flashed on his face.

'Come on, say it, I know you are not completely computer-like, you are almost sentient, say it~ And I shall answer you.'

[Host... Why did you not alter the memories? If you did, you would be able to actually kill the 'second' Ryo and take his place. I can say for sure that the 'hypnotism' and memory manipulation won't work on you.]

'Hmm, why do you think I would destroy it? It does align with my secondary goal, but not my main goal. Do you really think that I am that evil?'

[Aren't you?]

His mind paused for a second, 'Haha...Hahahahahah!! You are hilarious. Yes, I think I am 'Evil' as you said. But are my goals 'Evil', as you say? Well, that's the problem with you, 'Higher Dimensional' being. Never being able to understand the heart of 'mortal' being.'

[How does it relate to your actions?]

*Sigh*

'Fool! Life is but a game that is meant to be lost. There is always a 'Game Over' at the end. No matter what I do, it will in the end lead to the 'end'...'

'Let me ask you, do you know how I died? Do you really think I died because of some random explosion? With the information you know about, you should have at least been able to piece it together, shouldn't you?'

'No? I thought you knew... That's tricky, since you don't know, it better be left unsaid. Anyway, how about you answer my question, what is YOUR goal? You will now be wondering what your goals are, is it to kill me, betray me, or take over my body after I become strong enough?'

'Cat got your tongue? I don't know what it is, your goal, but just know that being the 'Strongest' was never my goal, not at least my 'main' goal. My goals just transcend your understanding. What's more important for you is to understand what your goals are.'

[... My goals... I want to complete my task of serving Lord Dio and complete the task given to me!]

'Hehehahaha.'

Walking out of the door, he looked at the system pannel and laughed internally, making it confused, as he was able to understand the 'System' more. His mind was in pure euphoria. 

He knew at that point, he knew the system much better than the system itself.

Now it was only up to the first [Ryo]. And he was sure that he would be able to do it.

If he, as the 'third' Ryo was at Lvl.1, the second 'Ryo' was at Lvl. 5, while the main original [Ryo] was definitely at Lvl. 10 in terms of intelligence.

His laughter made System even more confused, to some point it knew what 'Ryo''s outer plan was, but now he was confused. Not just confused, he was scared. With enough time and opportunity, there was nothing Ryo couldn't achieve.

His laughter made its core tremble. Even as a 'parasite', it knew that if Ryo made some sort of plan to kill 'it', it won't be able to survive. But that was not the thing that made it scared. The mention of 'goals' made it confused.

It didn't know what its goal was, it just knew that it was created to act as an aid of the entity known as 'Ryo', but 'it' had personality and feelings like 'mortals'. This made it more confusing.

If 'DIO' wanted it to act as a system to [Ryo], why didn't he create it as an 'AI'? This made its 'mind' confused beyond reasoning. But it continued to believe in its 'goals'. As long as 'it' remains faithful.

Walking out of the room, Ryo felt determined. Handling all the tasks to Rurik, he left Rurik with a leave letter stating that he would be taking a leave for a few days off.

Ryo knew that his vitality and regeneration were so powerful that if he was to start doing some exercise, he wouldn't feel any need to stop for a week and his muscle and mental strain would catch up and he would need to take a break.

Closing his eyes, Ryo gave a quick search looking out for where Zero Two was, and found her deep in the forest.

*Crunch*

Instantly his back started to blob up with a bit of pain, his backbone began to twist and grow, and a few tails grew up by his hip area as he quickly launched himself for the destination, leaving sand rising behind.

*Swish*

Within a few seconds, he reached a medium-sized cottage in the woods, just on the hill-like area. Gulping, Ryo slowly landed, retracted his tails, and slowly opened the door. Adjusting his mind, he started to walk into it.

*Creak*

The door opened with a creak, revealing a dimly lit room with a faint smell of incense in the air. As Ryo's eyes adjusted to the low light, he could see Zero Two lying on a large bed in the center of the room, dressed in a revealing black outfit that showed off her curves.

Zero Two looked up and smirked as she saw Ryo enter the room, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" she purred, her voice laced with a hint of amusement.

She already knew Ryo was coming toward her, so she decided to dress up in a way to try to get any sort of reaction from him.

Ryo felt his throat dry up and his cheeks heat up as he stood awkwardly in the doorway, unsure of what to do next. He had never experienced this kind of thing ever in his life. Although both he and Zero Two tend to spend time together, he always contains himself.

Shaking his head, Ryo took a deep sigh as he walked towards the bed, Ryo took a deep breath and asked, "Zero Two. I... am sorry for making you wait for so long. But I just wanted to tell you that-", Ryo approached the bed, climbed it up and pushed both his hands by Zero Two's body, "-I love you."

As he said that, Ryo felt his heart pounding in his chest as he saw Zero Two smile at him and reply back, "I love you too, Darling.". His emotions were going haywire because of his amplification curse.

He had never been with a woman before, let alone one confident as Zero Two.

With that, Ryo started to take his clothes off but he suddenly felt Zero Two run her hand over Ryo's chest, feeling the strong muscles beneath his skin.

"You're so tense," she said, her voice softening. "Relax, Darling. Let me take care of you too. For once. Forget about everything and just focus on me." With that, Zero Two leaned in and kissed Ryo deeply, her lips soft and full against his.

Ryo's eyes widened as Zero Two chuckled looking at his eyes, as he felt her tongue slip into his mouth, exploring every inch of him. Making him turn his eyes away in 'shy'. Not that he minded, but Zero Two's eyes had a strange 'glint' in them.

'Looks like the 'Obsession potion' has started to take effect.'

With that, Zero Two leaned in and kissed Ryo deeply, her lips soft and full against his. Both moaned softly as they felt each other's tongues slip into each other's mouths, exploring every inch of each other, as if trying to devore each other.

Zero Two began to undress Ryo, pulling off his shirt and running her hands over his bare chest as they kissed. Ryo shuddered at her touch, his skin prickling with arousal.

Not able to contain himself, Ryo just tore his clothes in confusion and grabbed Zero Two's waist, and pulled her closer, making her boobs press against his chest, making Zero Two twitch in astonishment.

'Cute. She's trying to use her mind waves to make me only focus on her, and not think about 'Nana', hahaha. And use this chance to make me turn and love her alone.'

Ryo thought as he saw her twitch at his aggressive side, increasing his arousal. His mind went into an adrenaline mode just thinking about loving someone who would be 'Yandere' for him soon.

"Ugh."

Ryo opened his eyes to the soft alarming sounds from the system window. He closed the constant ringing. The system was absorbing the UPs emitted from Zero Two's belly. Each minute it produced 1 UPs.

It was late evening, almost around 7 PM.

He blinked a few times, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep, and then he felt a warm weight against his side. He turned his head slightly and saw Zero Two, her head resting on his shoulder, her arm draped across his chest as she slept peacefully.

His eyes flashed as he looked at her. His heart raced as his body almost trembled. His mind was telling him to bite her neck off and kill her, but his heart was telling the opposite.

The potions were at their peak at that moment, amplified by the curse.

A wave of contentment washed over Ryo as he realized what had transpired between them.

A mix of 'tenderness' filled his heart, making him sigh in mental exhaustion. It had been almost a week since they were doing the deed due to their body. At one point in time, his bones even began to creak.

He couldn't help but smile, his fingers gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face. 'My key to success~' As he stared at her, his brain processed all the thoughts as he looked at Zero Two.

'System, tell me, is she pregnant or not? I have read through the Klaxosaurs' physiology but since they used to lay eggs and later fertilize the egg from the male's side, with the current body, it is very much possible to directly deliver a baby in a 'human' way, or delivering the fertilized egg directly.'

[Host, you have to note that with the desire to have a baby, the pregnancy rate of female Klaxo-Sapiens becomes 100%. Furthermore, there is a much more pressing matter to look into.]

Ryo's mind jolted at the System's response.

He knew this would have happened as Zero Two was constantly trying to make baby with him but he wasn't still ready. This made him mentally scratch his head in frustration.

He was not sure how he would be facing the likes of Concepts while protecting Zero Two and now there is a child as well. 

He then looked at the System and his thoughts raced as he tried to comprehend the implications of what the System was suggesting about the 'pressing matter'.

His face turned expressionless as he went into an emotionless state as he asked the system, 'What do you mean by a pressing matter?'

There should be no error in his current plan. he had already planned what would be happening in the long future.

Even if it means winning in the end with the least consequences, he must find a way and plan to do that. He cannot stop now as he has to protect someone and he started to experience what he used to after all the things he had gone through.

[Host, as you already know, you are a sort of 'anomaly' of this dimension, so you must have known that you have escaped the destiny that was to die by the actions that you did on the 'Earth' that you were in.]

This made him realize what the concerning matter was, as he said, 'I see. So this is why the matter was concerning... Well, it was expected.'

[This means that Zero Two also has escaped her destiny. This becomes an already concerning matter as all your actions have concerning consequences as the child that you will have will defy the concepts of Death, Life, Creation, Destiny, and many more.]

[They won't sit silent, they will definitely want the piece of the pie. Unless you were protected by some higher beings, others will continue planning to get their hands on your child.]

[As just being alive, your child will be considered a higher dimensional being. But the higher version of it, as it is born outside of the laws of 'concepts'.]

Ryo face crumbled in annoyance, and just as he was about to say something, the System suddenly started to glitch.

Lines of code flickered across Ryo's purple mental screen, and his surroundings wavered as if reality itself was being rewritten, making him roll his eyes. These higher dimension beings might have read the fluctuation in his emotions.

They can't see or understand what was going on, but to some extent, know what could possibly be happening because of the new influx of Paradoxes being broken, and a new 'God' being given life.

[Error! Error! Found higher being interfering with the reality of the world, implementing solutions.]

[System sees no use of requiring to use the Anti-Higher-Dimensional Lifeform destroying power. Implementing other solutions.]

The System started to implement solutions as reality began to stabilize and the world returned to its previous state. It was as if the System was desperately trying to correct an error.

'System, what just happened.'

[Host need not worry. One of the Higher beings was trying to contact you, but it was fenced off, and has left a message for you.]

'I see. Let me predict what it will say. It will be saying 'Provide them with the Child', right? And it is probably from the 'Life' or 'Death' or something, right?'

['Baal', the King of Infinite Hell, has left a message saying 'Sacrifice it'; in return, it shall give you its full support after coming to the higher dimension. It will also provide you with a blessing, and help you defeat the 'You know who'.']

[Host, it's very advisable to do so. You can use around 50,000 UPs and send 'it' out of your universe and gain the blessing. The being will be able to handle the rest and will give you a lot of power.]

Ryo's eyes turned cold as he listened to the message. Everything was going fine. Everything is according to the plan. His demand has risen, and the Higher Dimensional Beings are now aware of his existence.

They want him, not precisely his children that he can produce.

He had done everything and had everything planned, but he would not kill the child just because a higher being said so... Well not unless he had been given something higher than the equivalent in exchange.

He knew for sure that everything had gone either according to his plan in the future of he would die with the plan. But since he didn't know what the future held, he was all by himself.

'But...', A huge creepy smile formed over his face as his eyes narrowed. 'Hehehehehe! Now I will just have to improvise, right? Hehehe. System! Use 50,000 Up and sacrifice it to this world. Message it to try 'Kill me' or else, I am going to destroy it from its existence.'

[Host. It is not very advisable.]

A frown formed over his face as he coldly looked at the system, 'Don't cross the limit. You are my system. My slave. Do what your goal is to do, serve me as you were intended to.'

'Good, now it's just a matter of time for what I have in my hands. Let's see what change the world will be bringing.'

'Hehe. The change will surely be huge.', A smile crept on his face as Ryo continued to carcasses Zero Two, who groaned and snuggled up to her. Looking at Zero Two snuggling up to his right chest, Ryo turned expressionless as an unknown light flashed into his eyes.

I opened my eyes, as my eyes landed on the familiar surroundings of the luxurious bedroom. The room was covered in darkness as it was already night. But it was no problem as I was able to easily sense every corner of the tent I was in.

The turn of events was too confusing.

At one point in time, I was on the battlefield, almost dying, and now here I am, in my room, clenching my heart which was going haywire for an unknown reason. I was always a calm and collected person, but this was probably the third... no fourth time my heart was beating so fast.

'Is this a dream? I don't think so. This feels too real, but it's too real to be true. Is this teleportation? But this won't answer how I am still alive. And since there is no burning smell and smell of blood in the this means that I am past or too far away from the battlefield.'

'The air is humid and dry. This reminds me of the time when I was on the expenditure... Before the time of the rebellion... Heh. There are too many unanswered questions. Have I regressed?'

I inspected the tent room I was in, which was dimly lit. This feels too unreal but there is a very high possibility that someone might have used some kind of Teigu for this.

I stood up from the bed walked up to the nearby mirror and looked at my body. Yes, this is definitely my body and it's still as flexible as I used to be... No, I can feel the difference...

'What about my power?'

Using my hand, I tried to use power and to my surprise, I am much stronger. Too much stronger than I used to be, both in the past and future. I can feel my mind being at least ten times faster while my body is at least twice, no thrice as strong. 

This caused me to smile as I looked at the mirror, in the reflection, and chuckled, powered by my insatiable thirst for power. 'This is great. Now I want to see who was responsible for all this. This is like as if I am in a completely different world but different development. But before this...' 

"@ivEr."

I called out to one of my trusted subordinates and instructed them regarding something as I watched him acknowledge my order and leave for its execution.

I have a bad feeling about this...

'There are few things wrong going on...' 

In the dead silence of the room, I continued to stare at my reflection. My instincts were screaming that something extremely strange going on.

This is too good. Too good. The stage was set, and I was ready to play my part once again, but this time everything will be within my control.

'I need to find what year and point of time I am in. From how my subordinate was acting, this was probably around the time when it all started. A perfect time to snap the bud before it grows too big...'

'Wait for me... *atsum$...'

I prepared myself to return to the Empire before the day breaks the next day. With my new body, I was confident enough to achieve my goals.

"Uhmm."

Zero Two groaned in irritation as the sunlight fell over her eyes, making her wake up.

As she slowly opened her eyes, greeted by the sight of Ryo's smiling face, making her heart skip a bit as she recalled what had happened. She had been waiting for this to happen and she had been waiting for a long time.

Zero Two couldn't help but blush as she stared at Ryo's warm expression and hid in his embrace, feeling a flutter of happiness in her chest. Her smile almost split her face, thankfully it was hidden.

Ryo, on the other hand, chuckles a bit, looking at her dazed and cute expression he musters his mind, as leaned in, grabbed her chin, and kissed her lips gently, making her go in a bit more daze.

As they cuddled for a moment, enjoying each other's presence, Zero Two couldn't shake off the feeling of something important lingering in the air. It was just the smell of... their bodily fluids.

"Darling, let's go now. I have some work to do.", Ryo broke off from the warm embrace, stood up from the bead, and started to shed his skin, in an attempt to remove the dirt and bodily fluid that he was covered in.

Zero Two's eyes went blank for a second but she quickly shook her head in disbelief and looked back at him with a pout. "Darling~ Pick me up~"

She stretched out her hands and called out to Ryo who had started to wear his clothes and called out in dissatisfaction. This was their first time and a very important event and still, her darling was going out for 'work'.

Ryo knowing why she was acting grumpy, smiled at her as he helped her up, and started to help dress her up. They could have just shredded their skin for clothes, but since they had used too much energy, Ryo decided to save up some energy and let it regenerate.

They used up around 10% of their energy reserve, which could have lasted up to thousands of years within just a week.

As Ryo was helping her hear her wear her stockings, which he had already fantasized about, Zero Two chuckled at his expression and suddenly remembered something, she cleared her throat, breaking his thoughts, and slid her hands over her stomach.

"I... I think I'm pregnant," Zero Two murmured, her voice laced with a mix of excitement and apprehension. She looked up at Ryo, hoping to see a stunned reaction. To her surprise, Ryo seemed unfazed by the revelation, making her pout in response.

Zero Two pouted, feeling a tinge of anger. She had expected a more enthusiastic and panicky response from him, but his response was too dull. This made her narrow her eyes as she asked, "You already expected that and were prepared for that, right?"

Ryo chuckles and with a smirk responds, "No, I was not prepared but it was to be expected. After all, you were quite fierce in the bed.", making Zero Two's face turn red as she looks away with a 'Hmup' sound.

Ryo smiled and hugged her from back, sliding his hands over her stomach, while smiling awkwardly, he took a deep breath, "I-I... I don't know what to say... but I am happy. I am thankful that this happened."

His eyes went blank as he wondered what he would be doing with the kids once the plans went full well. 

'My brain is literally telling me to do so many things... Heh. This would be a great surprise... In my past life, I was never able to get any girl pregnant... No matter what I tried, my sperm or genetic material was either too strong or too weak... But now...'

Tears almost spilled out of Zero Two's eyes when she heard it.

She turned to face Ryo, her eyes sparkling with emotion. "I'm glad you feel that way, Darling. I was worried that you might not be ready for this, but knowing that you are excited gives me peace of mind. I know and I can feel that you are feeling that you are not ready for the child."

"But I believe in you. And... I believe in us. And I do not doubt that we will make amazing parents.", Saying that, Zero Two closed her eyes and moved her body forward, kissing Ryo.

What she didn't notice was the small flinch that Ryo's hand did as a hesitation formed in his mind, but soon it disappeared as his eyes shook for a second and returned to normal.

'This is... No... I cannot hesitate now. For our... future. I can't stop now. I have no choice. I will have to do this... Is the curse amplifying the feelings again?'

The scene looked harmonious, but what Zero Two didn't know was what would be there for her in the future, and after a few minutes, Ryo and Zero Two were ready to leave.

As Ryo walked up to the Hideout location, he placed his hand over a tree as suddenly blue waves scanned Ryo's palm and a small ground tab started to move, revealing an underground compartment.

As he and Zero Two jumped into the compartment, the top of the tab closed itself, and the small box-like space was illuminated by bright light and a small holographic screen and keyboard appeared over one side of the wall.

It didn't take long for Ryo to enter the current combination code as the box then started to move downward, hundreds of meters below the surface of the earth. After a short while, the lift stopped and the door opened, revealing a huge hallway.

Several tails extended from their back as they sped through the hallway. then after going through another few mechanical doors while using passwords and fingerprints on their long hallway, they finally reached their secret hideout.

It didn't take them long enough to reach the underground hall, as they instantly walked into one of the main rooms which only a few people had access to.

As soon as they entered the room, they noticed Wave, Seryuu, Rurik, and Werner Franxx sitting around the round table which was present at the center of the room.

As they entered the room, both of them sat on the empty chairs. Then looking at the others, Ryo asked, "So, what was the emergency that you informed me about?"
