'The members of the 9's from the anime. The special force that directly worked under the instructions from the highest members of APEs, the Seven Sages. They were the clones made from the DNA of Zero Two, and probably mine too. Does that mean that I am their father? Pfff-'

As the group entered the room, Ryo's eyes narrowed down for an instant as he gave the group a quick observation.

The members of the newly arrived group adored a special Parasite uniform emblazoned with white and gold, instead of the typical gray uniforms that other Parasite squads use. T

his made them the point of focus as they looked like some sort of children with special privileges.

If one goes by the involvement of Ryo, the team will be called 10-s, turning the names of the group members to be affected as well.

The blonde boy in the lead was a bit taller than his anime counterpart, probably because of the use of Ryo's genes and DNA being in effect.

The young man's skin was as pale as it could be. He has honey blond hair that was at the length that the long bangs low above his green eyes. He gave off the aura of innocence. The boy was none other than the leader of the future 9's group in the anime, 9-Alpha, who should become 10-Alpha because of the involvement of Ryo.

The boy next to the Blonde boy, with light blue hair, was none other than Beta. Beta has light blue hair swept over his right eye while he has grey eyes. This gave him a very charming look.

The next male in the group was Gamma. The boy has dark pink hair, which looks like a Maroon in color and he has dark olive green eyes. He is the second tallest member of this APE Special Forces squad.

The last male in the group was Epsilon. He had purple hair and grey eyes. He was also the tallest person in the group, although he was still short compared to both Ryo and Zero Two. He gave off the looks of a clumsy person.

The next of the group was Delta. She has short, light green hair and eyes of the same color. She was the shortest of the group.

The next three members of the group were quite surprisingly looked the same. If Ryo remembered correctly, their names were Zeta, Eta, and Theta. They are actually the triplets that have white hair, grey eyes, and silver masks.

If one doesn't notice their body movement properly, one could easily get confused about who is who.

As soon as the group entered the center of the stage, the blonde boy, Alpha walked forward from the other members of the group and bowed a little, placing his right hand over his left chest and saying, "Pleased to meet you. I am Code Alpha. I believe that Dr. Franxx and Papa might have filled you with our information.",

Alpha looked up with closed eyes and continued, "Hope we get along well, Instructor Arato and Instructor Kiara."

Then he looked at the group of his future team members and replied, "Guy, why don't you introduce yourselves to the instructors? After all, we will be working alongside each other for several years."

"It is a pleasure meeting you, instructors, I am Code Beta. Hope we get along."

"It is a pleasure meeting you, instructors, I am Code Gamma. Hope we get along."

"It is a pleasure meeting you, instructors, I am CodeEpison. Hope we get along."

"It is a pleasure meeting you, instructors, I am Code Delta. Hope we get along."

"It is a pleasure meeting you, instructors, our names are Zeta, Eta, and Theta. Hope we get along."

With the introduction done with the instructors, Alpha then looked at both Zero Two and Ryo. As he looked at them, his calm smile widened a little as he walked up to Zero Two extended his hand, and tried to take Zero Two's hands.

But as soon as he lowered his body a little to try to take Zero Two's right hand, a fist directly came into his cheeks, and before he could react, he found himself falling on the ground with his right hand covering his right cheeks as he looked at Zero Two in anger.

"Heh"

Looking at Alpha looking at Zero Two in shock and anger, Ryo scoffed. Zero Two just experienced a surprise attack from Kiara just a few minutes ago. Taking her hands to give it a kiss is like asking for getting one's ass kicked, especially when Zero Two was angry.

'It was as if giving her a punching bag. Instead of glaring back in anger, that kid should have walked away if he didn't want any more beatings.'

Ignoring the system notification, Ryo on the other hand, looked at the remaining members of the group, who seeing their leader getting punched on his face, calmly surrounded both him and Zero Two, while Zeta, one of the triplets, helped Alpha up his feet.

"Stop it!"

Feeling the chaos ensued in the room, Arato scoffed and loudly ordered all the members of the group to stop. But the group hesitated a bit and looked at Alpha for instructions.

Looking at their reaction, Ryo almost whistled, 'Whoa, these guys are still children, well they really are, but they should know better with all the training they were given. Franxx I am disappointed... Did you spoil them a little knowing that they might live in my shadow forever?'

Feeling the looks of people, Alpha's anger resided a little as he took a quick breath to calm his anger, and then returned to his calm state smiled a little, and replied, "I apologize for my sudden action. I am sorry for surprising you by taking your hands. I thought you knew about a bit of courtesy, Code 002-"

"Well, whatever. Let's cut the talk short. We have a more important task to do than to talk about some 'courtesy'. After all, we are here to learn, not to perform courtesy."

Cutting off Alpha mid-sentence, Ryo walked up to the frowning Zero Two, and while wrapping his hands on her shoulders like how two friends do, he replied bluntly about the reason for them being.

If he let Alpha continue, he might get an advantage in insulting. So he used an easy way out while countering the insult that was about to fall on Zero two, and that was to cut off Alpha mid-sentence.

Ignoring the dinging sound, Ryo took Zero Two's hand and tried to walk out of the circle, only for Delta to try to block his way. Sadly for her, she chooses the wrong person to mess with.

As soon as she tried to stop Ryo, she suddenly felt her life flash before her eyes. Sweat poured down her body as goosebumps rose all over her body. 

'W-What-!!'

Staring coldly, Ryo 'made up' thoughts of killing Delta on the spot. The thoughts were instantly conveyed to her as soon as she looked into his eyes. For her, it felt like her whole body temperature suddenly dropped by a huge margin as she started to shake. 'He-He is going to-to kill me!!!'

With how the Klaxosaur is able to use her telepathic abilities over a huge range, his bloodline was hybrid, reducing the effect by a huge margin but still, it can be used over the people having the same bloodline as him.

Thankfully since Alpha and other members actually had their bloodline too corroded by the Humanoid DNA strands, they cannot use the same ability to read or share their thoughts.

This ability can also be used to convey his mind, read the mind of his Klaxosaur hybrid friends, and decode orders sent by the Klaxosaur Queen regarding the strategies of the attacks which was sent telepathically for the Klaxosaur to follow.

With that, his thoughts of 'killing' were directly transferred to Delta's mind, as she was essentially made up of Ryo's and Zero Two's DNA strands.

*Bam*

Falling on her butt, Delta looked fearfully at Ryo as he gave her a silent warning look as he took the smirking Zero Two to the other side of the room.

*Ding*

All this while, Alpha and the others looked at the scene in confusion. Then with a bit of difficulty, Delta stood up and while looking fearfully at Ryo, she walked up to the now gathered group. Making Alpha frown and whisper her questions.

Ryo looked at the scene and scoffed, 'Hate me kids. Make me your inspiration... No... make me your 'enemy'. Make me the only thing you hate the most for I have something in my for you in future.'

It took some time for the chaos to settle down.

With the peace returned, Arato started to introduce various basics of hand-to-hand fighting to the people of the group.

It was decided that the group would be divided into two groups, the male group and the female group.

The male group will be taught by Arato while the female group will be taught by Kiara for the first week. After the first week, the instructors will be changed when they will start to feel comfortable with their instructors to help them adjust to unexpected situations.

Thus began four hours of regular hand-to-hand combat training, where the instructors continued to beat down the students except Ryo, but he too took several hits to pretend as an amateur in the field.

After the four hours of intense training, both Arato and Kiara let them all take a break for half an hour. Leaving the mentally tired members to rest on the soft seats as a few robotic cars entered the room with water and provided them with energy drinks.

As soon as half an hour passed, Arato and Kiara reentered the room and then started their weapon training.

In this training, they were trained to use several different types of weapons, from cold modern weapons like guns and cannons to medieval hand-held weapons like knives, swords, spears, knuckles, katanas, and many many more.

One might think what was the use of these medieval weapons?

The main reason for them to be trained with them was to help them get adjust to using these weapons when operating the FRANXXs mechas. Although the guns do indeed do good damage, medieval weapons were just much more effective when used to eliminate the Klaxosaurs.

After a few more hours of training with these weapons and getting used to them, Arato noticed that the group had done well the whole day.

"Congratulations! You guys have shown quite outstanding results. Today was just the starting and warm-up. You can return to your respective dorms now. We will continue this same course for six more days."

"After that, you guys will be trained on how to control the FRANXXs through the Virtual Reality gears."

As soon as he announced the end of the training for the day, both Arato and Kiara left the room without wasting a second, leaving two groups in the room.

Looking at each other, Ryo and Alpha started at each other as tension rose between the two groups, but suddenly Ryo smiled a little as he walked out to Alpha, who was standing in front of the others, and extended his hands for a handshake.

"It was nice meeting you, Code Alpha. Hope we get along well."

Although a bit cautious at Ryo's action, Alpha smiled at Ryo in return shook his hand, and replied, "Likewise. It was great knowing you. Hope we get along well.", he then tried to clench Ryo's hand, trying to learn more about Ryo's strength and provoke him.

His reply and actions made Ryo's smile go wider and he shook the hands without doing anything in return. Although Alpha might have used all his strength to make sure that Ryo felt at least a bit of pain, to Ryo, who had trained his body from the very start, it felt like a child trying to hurt him.

'This is such a child's play. Enjoy your teenage hood till I regain control.'

With an awkward handshake for a few seconds, Alpha let go of Ryo's hands and looked at his group and said, "Let's go.", and walked out of the room, leaving both smiling Ryo and Zero Two.

Ryo felt so happy today as he had finally found his UP farm. He had been constantly listening to the *Ding*-ing sounds from the System.

When he impresses the instructors, he will get UP. If he goes better than the Alpha and his group, he gets Up. If he does something outstanding, he gets a UP. Every action of his gave him an endless amount of small waves of UP.

Looking at the bright red food brought to his mouth by Zero Two, Ryo looked at the sight with dead eyes as he opened his mouth and accepted his face. As he opened his mouth, Zero Two smiled a little and pushed the red piece of food into Ryo's mouth.

*Nom*

Sadly as soon as the food touched Ryo's tongue, his face turned a bit red and he felt like crying. 'Well, I do love spicy food... But I prefer sweets more... Ugh. Should I just use the Love Potion and skip this part? No... I can't waste my UPs for something so low...'

The food was spicy, not too much but with the enhancement in sense of taste and him having a curse of feeling everything multiple times over, the food almost made him shed tears because of how hot it was.

But looking at Zero Two smiling, Ryo felt that it was worth it.

During all the previous years, when they were allowed to access more areas, Zero Two somehow got to hang out on spicy things. Probably because of how 'fun' she felt when eating some spicy stuff, Zero Two fell in love with hot and spicy stuff.

Then after reading the book, she got the motivation to make food for Ryo, but due to how she liked spicy stuff, when she first made some dishes for Ryo, he almost fainted when he just tasted the food with his tongue.

After that, he started to stay and observe Zero Two whenever she made food, helping (stopping) her by adding the ingredients himself to save himself.

Thankfully with his bloodline, his body was fine and working properly. If he was him from his previous life, he would be having some stomach trouble once an interval of two days, but it was taken care of by his healing capabilities.

If Ryo were to say, he was most thankful for the healing abilities of his body. It was this ability that greatly helped him survive through the spicy and hot stuff.

'Sign. At least she is happy. I thought that it might take her a bit of time to coax her back, but she just didn't mind my action... Or I think she already knew why I didn't help her.'

Ryo's attention was attracted to the food brought to his mouth by Zero Two, making him curse internally as he swallowed his saliva in nervousness again. The food just makes him feel intimidating no matter how much he just looks at it.

Ryo felt the same tangy and spicy feeling over his tongue, which made him feel fearful of the red stuff while also wanting more as it was just tasty, even though it was spicy. He was just amazed by how fast Zero Two was able to learn how to cook.

It has only been a year since she started to make food but her skills can be considered top-notch when she makes spicy food, except her skills in adding some of the ingredients like chili powder and stuff.

Shaking his head, Ryo started to try to distract himself.

'Hmm. I just showed a bit of my abilities to Delta, and I am sure that this will reach the 'Chairman' of the APE's Seven Sages. Yes, the 'World Will' will do it for me. It doesn't matter what it tries to do, but in the end, it will only be able to take my bait.'

'This will make them think that I am ignorant of their plan and they might be thinking that they can use Arato, Kiara, and the Elite Klaxosaur Hybrid group to monitor me. This ability won't be able to make them feel threatened and they won't be able to find a reason to kill me.'

'But, this will also make them curious about my other abilities, giving me more challenges and resources to show off my abilities. And will attract the biggest fish that I am trying to catch.'

That was a mistake on his part.

After completing their breakfast, they walked calmly to 'Operation Room 7: Special Laboratory' to get their new Identity Pass.

As soon as they entered, Ryo observed the room. The room looked like a classical clinic but the room was multiple times its normal size. But this was not what attracted Ryo's attention. In the center of the room was none other than Dr. Franxx.

On the other hand, the whole room was empty. Not even the nurses and the soldiers were there.

Narrowing his eyes, Ryo said, "Dr. Franxx?". Finally, his arrangements were paying off. His smooth acting and his revealing a bit of his abilities to the APEs would have made Franxx feel a bit of a crisis with how Ryo will be targeted.

Thus he will come running to Ryo like he had planned, although it was much earlier than he thought, but it was all within all his plans even now.

"Code 003. Do you know why I am here? I think between you and Code 002, you would definitely know why I am here."

Taping his cane on the ground, Dr. Franxx asked. As soon as asked that, he walked up to a chair by the end of the room, and sitting over it, he adjusted his glasses, looking at both Ryo and Zero Two. But his main focus was on Ryo only.

"What do you mean, Dr. Franxx? I do not understand what you are talking about."

Acting a bit confused, Ryo asked Franxx. Although he could indeed start to act out, he knew better than to control his excitement. Currently, he was not sure if there was any camera or voice recorder in the room, which Franxx could take advantage of and blackmail him in return.

'I don't believe that he is that scheming, but I don't believe in World Will. What if it had changed Franxx's personality and abilities?'

Although he didn't think that Franxx would have much of an advantage over him, he didn't want to make a variable destroy all his plans. He is an 'Outsider'. One mistake and mess in his plan can be taken advantage of by the 'World Will'.

He never believed in luck. He had already made mistakes based on luck in his previous life and Ryo didn't want to repeat them at all.

"I see. Do not worry, Code 003. I know what you are cautious about. You can stop acting around. I have already seen through you several years before."

Narrowing his eyes, Warner Franxx rested his back on the chair as he asked. Indeed, he had already seen through the intelligence of Ryo long ago. But to stop APEs and the Seven Sages from interfering with his observation of the actions of Ryo and Zero Two.

He had gone beyond that, he had also hidden almost all his observations and information related to them from APEs. He won't be letting someone from 'outside' control him and his research.

"And why should I help you?", With an amused face, Franxx replied.

"Heh. You know why. If the APEs got more interested in my abilities, they would try to restrict my movements and you would not be able to observe how we act 'naturally'."

"This will also hinder your power over other studies and will start to form cracks between you and higher-ups because you have been hiding our information out to some extent if I am right."

"Furthermore, I think my goal is supported by your own goals. You want to know everything about Klaxosaurs and the peak of Evolution that could be achieved; on the other, I am someone who has the potential to reach that peak and let you see the things that you want. If you help me, I will let you see the grand sight of peak evolution!"

"But for that, I want you, Werner Franxx", Pointing his finger at Franxx, Ryo continued, "To help me learn things that I cannot get my hands on and help me get access to some of the resources that I want to gain."

Spreading his hands out, Ryo smirked, "I know about stuff that you do not know about and I can give you this information in return."

With a calm voice, Ryo explained his conditions and reasons to Werner Franxx. He was going to provide Franxx with the knowledge of the past of that world, how VIRM attacked Earth and the Klaxo-Sapiens protected it.

"Hehe hehe hahahaha! Subarashi!! Subarashi!! You are indeed as brilliant as I had suspected! You were able to grasp my intentions! Although I do not know how you will be able to achieve the peak of this evolution, I will help you to the best of my abilities!"

"BUT! Here's a condition. I want you to keep providing me with things that I do not know about at regular intervals while letting me continue to observe you."

Laughing out loud, Werner Franxx felt so happy. After all, this was the first time where there was someone out there who finally understood him. In his whole life, even his lover was not able to understand him properly, but he finally found someone who could understand him.

He had tried his best to perfect Code Alpha and did his best to make him the real 'Alpha', but in the end, Code 003 was just better, making him a bit disappointed but happy at the same time.

Although it will make him go against the APEs, he is very much ready to help Code 003 achieve the peak of evolution that he has been obsessed with since the first time he saw Code 001, the Klaxosaur Queen.

Thinking for a while, Ryo considered the condition. Although it would indeed put a bit of pressure on him, Ryo knew that it was the best he could get.

Nodding his head, Ryo replied, "I accept the condition, Werner Franxx, but I also have a condition. I would love it if you could reduce if not completely remove the monitoring devices that keep on observing us."

Happy that his conditions were agreed upon but another condition set up, Franxx replied, "You really are putting too much pressure on me, Code 003, but I also accept the condition. I will try my best to help you."

"I will try to remove most of the monitoring devices that keep observation on you, but I cannot say that I can completely remove all the monitoring devices. It is impossible. So I would advise you to act normally when we are not together."

"Anyway, Code 003, what are the things and knowledge that you want to learn about? And when are we going to start all of this? Because I will not be free for two days at least. I will have to adjust my schedule for all the things that we will be doing."

Nodding his head, Ryo replied, "It is okay. I will be ready after 2 days. Anyway, can we get the Identity Pass that we came for now?"

After getting the new clearance Identity Pass, both Zero Two and Ryo returned to their room. As soon as they returned, they entered the metallic tube again, which started to activate as soon as they positioned themselves perfectly, making their new uniform return to the original normal clothes.

On the other hand, Ryo walked up to the bookshelf in the main hall and selected a book that had the knowledge of the current era, while Zero Two went into the bathroom to freshen herself up and adjust her looks.

Ryo was now able to access most of the knowledge available to him with the help of Franxx, but he decided to take a break for that day and enjoy his time with Zero Two as after today, their life would be highly affected.

While trying to pass the time, trying to relax himself, he found himself looking at his twitching legs, 'I can't find myself to relax and waste time... This might be the first time in a long while that I have truly relaxed myself and now I can't control my urges to start learning...'

'*Sigh*... I should train myself to control my urges more...'

Although Ryo did not have access to the physical copies of highly confident books, he was easily able to access books that he had no knowledge about like books related to Sexual Knowledge and Magma Energy.

Sexual knowledge was not available to normal parasites as it would cause several babies to pop up. Most of the parasites are usually under huge pressure and this could lead to babies popping up.

A thing that APEs do not want currently as it would affect both the resources management and can reduce the amount of Franxx to be deployed to fight off Klaxosaurs if Female Parasites are not available to operate FRANXX due to pregnancies.

But both Zero Two and Ryo were different. They drank the serums and potions that turned them humanoid and removed the chances of clones being created from their DNAs.

This will make it impossible to create a child from Zero Two's and Ryo's DNA artificially now that they are of the age to be able to reproduce as IV does not provide the necessities for the embryo to grow properly into a child.

This means, that Ryo and Zero Two can only have babies naturally. So they were allocated books related to the reproductions and techniques, so as they are going through a lot of pressure, they could actually provide them with another Klaxosaur Hybrid child to be used in the future.

'We are just children, you bastard VIRMS!'

But their plans failed when Ryo saw through their plans like clear water and took precautions. He was actually feeling a lot more stressed out due to the curse having its effect, but the presence of Zero Two just cleared his mind up.

He does have to say that Zero Two could be considered the only person he cares more for than anyone else, on the same level as he loved his father and his previous lover.

On the other hand, Magma Energy was the most important resource for the humans of the new era as it provided them with almost all the required energy to keep the plantations working.

Magma energy appears as it does in real life, which confused Ryo a lot. 'How the hell can the Magma, or lava, be used to turn a normal human immortal? It was completely illogical!'

If Ryo remembered correctly, the Magma energy which was described in the anime was a yellow-orange substance that was retrieved from the Earth's core and used as an energy/power source to operate the mechanisms of the plantations and cultivate food and medicine.

Although humanity believed it to be part of Earth's natural resources, it is actually the quantitative physical property of the Klaxo-Sapiens, who converted their weak bodies into energy.

Magma energy was actually formed when the the invasion of VIRM and the war against them happened several millions, if not billions of years ago.

It lasted for several hundreds of years, and after the war the Klaxo-Sapiens, the humanoid sentimental lifeform of the Earth dove into Earth's core to recuperate and prepare for the inevitable return of VIRM.

The stronger Klaxo-Sapiens converted into Klaxosaurs in male-female pairs. Whereas the weaker Klaxo-Sapiens converted their bodies into energy in order to restore the planet which had suffered desertification from the Klaxo-Sapiens draining its life energy during the war with VIRM.
