Sigh, When there are many characters it became hard to make sure that their various relationship makes some changes everytime. I do not want to make them too one sided after all, that's why I am practicing on deepening the personality of some characters that I deem quite important.

Some of these few chapters might feel like unneeded or fillers but these story isn't just about mechs after all, it is also about the mc's life. Although I can't go into too much details on it, I can at least make it more colorful, right?

I took my thin coat and hanged it at the coat rack by the side of the door way.

Marianne did too but she also took off most of the clothes she wore like the gloves, ear mufflers and such.

She was just wearing a night gown under those thick clothes.

"Now I know why you felt cold. Have you just got up from bed?" I said and asked while raising a brow.

"Yes, you disturbed my sleep when you pushed the door bell so many times." She said dully while rolling her eyes.

"It's already noon sleeping beauty. You should be thankful instead that I woke you up right?" I said in a teasing manner while we got into the living room.

I immediately sat on the long couch.

She was going to sit on my side but I pulled her to my lap.

She didn't avoid my approach so it must means she is not a couple with Charles yet.

"So... How have you been? It's been what, a few weeks since we are last together right?" I said with a smile while hugging her on the waist and caressing it with my two hands.

She just leaned on me with her whole body while sitting sideways on my lap.

"Yeah, So many things happened that I have so much pent up stress now." She said while pouting, acting cute in front of me.

She can't really be called cute when she looks really hot and sexy right now.

"Really? Let's have some wine then. I can indulge you right now.

It's been a while since we last have a drink together after all." I said in a quite coquettish manner.

"That's great! Let's have a drink then!" She said happily.

Then I got her up from my lap.

"Oh right, where do you put the wine? And also, why does it seem like you are the only one that lives here?

Where are the maids or servants?" I asked curiously.

"I will get the wine in the cellar, you go get the wine glasses in the kitchen, that way.

I don't have servants or maids. I only hire people to clean up this mansion one's a week and also to take care of my laundry.

Right, there might be someone that can be considered a maid because I hired her to cook for me in every meals." She said while pointing the way to the kitchen.

Then we got to doing what we have to do.

We took a few minutes because this place is still a mansion so it is quite big.

There were many rooms in the direction I went to, I checked them out a bit just to make sure.

While Marianne only took some time maybe because she had too many wines to choose from?

Remember that she likes wine?

Yeah, so she might have many in her cellar.

Anyway, now we are back in the living room.

There is a fire place here but it is not being used because there is a heater now.

We sat on the long sofa again and this time Marianne sat on it herself, not in my lap.

But we are still quite close though.

She opened the wine bottle and a loud sound of a cork popping off was heard.

"And, here's the wine!" She excitedly while pouring wine to both our wine glasses.

"You are being quite excited Marianne. Are you getting addicted to drinking alcohol?

Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned anything about having a drink at all." I said while looking at her questioningly.

"What?! No! I am not addicted to drinking wine you know~! I am just happy to have a drink with you again." She said while acting cute.

And she failed because she looks too sexy in her night gown right now.

It was a bit see through and is colored black.

Her curves are being more defined with this night gown of hers.

"Alright, I will believe you for today. Anyway.

What have you been doing these days?" I asked suddenly to move on from the topic while drinking my wine.

Damn...

She picked a strong wine to drink right now.

But it's good cause it feels hot on the body.

She drank her own wine before replying.

"Nothing much, You have seen what I've been doing yourself.

I was just continuing to practice piloting my knightmare frame these day.

You even joined me a few times yourself.

Other than that, hmm, I didn't do anything worth mentioning."

Then she poured more wine in her glass because she bottomed up her wine before.

That is why I also finished mine then urge her to pour some more in my wine glass for me.

I took her to my lap sideways after she poured the wine to my glass while she is still holding the bottle.

"Hey, be careful the bottle might fall from my hand." she said with a bit of scare from the sudden grab I did.

"Sorry about that, you just look too hot right now." I said with a grin.

"Really? Then I will forgive you for saying the truth." She said with her own grin.

"Thank you my beautiful lady." I said in a whispering voice before kissing her in the neck.

"Wait! Let's do it later! Let's just drink for now!" She hurriedly said after I started kissing her in the neck while squirming in my lap.

"Oh ho ho ho... And you said that you aren't getting addicted to alcohol huh?" I said with a teasing smile and a raise brow.

"Of course not, Hmph! I just want to savor our time drinking together right now!

We have not drunk together for a long while after all!" She said loudly in stong denial of my accusation while not daring to look straight at me.

"Oh really? I will believe you if you share wine with me, in a kiss. Hehehe..." I said with a perverted chuckle and a smirk.

"Hmph! You only want a kiss you pervert! Fine! I'll do it!" She said in an accusatory tone before drinking all the wine in her glass without gulping it.

Then She kissed me quickly.

I parted my lips to welcome her tongue while we shared the wine to each other.

Some of the wine spilled from our mouths and soaked into my clothes.

She is above me while we are having a deep kiss and I am facing upwards because of that.

Both her hands are behind my head while my arms are around her waist with both hands on her perky ass cheeks.

We didn't immediately stop even after finishing the wine in our mouths.

We continued kissing while I am squeezing her bottom cheeks for a few minutes.
