He already knew it, he is the only person in their organization that can at least match up to Kallen, although that's only when they are both using the same mass-produced unit because he is certainly no match to her if she used her Guren, the same one as Kallen's exclusive unit in the original anime series.

Suzaku and the knights' regiment are just continuing what they had been doing for more than a minute now when there suddenly seems to be some kind of disturbance coming from the flank, theirs.

An eye-catching unknown Knightmare frame came from the area where the disturbance is.

It isn't the only one though, there are a few other mass-produced units at its back that seems to be moving better than the cannon fodders that they had been dealing with for quite a while now.

As the unknown red machine got closer, they quickly noticed how much different it is from the normal Knightmare frame aesthetic that they are used to, even the currently used designs of the various countries for their own exclusive mass-produced machines doesn't quite match up with this red machine so they quickly became puzzled from where this thing came from and how this small armed group of people managed to get something like this.

But these thoughts are only for everyone else but Suzaku because she quickly realized that these new Knightmare frames are enemies too.

She then quickly readied herself to engage this group of enemies.

When the enemy got close enough, Lancelot directly leaped to their clustered group, specifically, amidst the mass-produced units.

Her goal was to break them up so that they wouldn't be able to team up and use group tactics.

It is also to disrupt their set movement that seemed to have been practiced well together with the confidence that this enemy had.

She did manage to accomplish what she wanted but not as much as she would have wanted.

She managed to take down two enemy units which disrupted the enemy but only managed to break them up though their morale and confidence did not diminish as much because the unknown red unit did almost exactly the same thing that Suzaku had done, her target was Cornelia's Knights regiment which is headed by Guilford.

If anyone had not guessed yet, the red unit is Guren, which is piloted by Kallen.

She wasn't the one that was commanding the unit that had followed her along though.

It's Naoto.

It should have been Ohgi because of his strategic mind but he is not any good at piloting a Knightmare frame and Naoto did have some talent at being a Knightmare frame pilot though not as much as his little sister.

'This red unit... I should take it down first!' Suzaku thought seriously with a grim look on her face as she stared carefully at the red Knightmare frame that has disproportionate arms, with one arm being so much bigger than the other.

'Tsk! I thought Lelouch and the others were just talking exaggeratedly about this white Knightmare frame!

But it seems that this one is truly strong!

Hmph!

It will still be no match against me and Guren!' Kallen thought a bit proudly but she still looked at this foe with a very serious look and she directly informed Naoto about concentrating on taking down this troublesome opponent first using a text format.

This was done by Suzaku too.

Both of them felt that they should put all their focus on their opponent or they would certainly lose!

Guilford and Naoto, of course, both quickly took this information and quickly thought up the implications of it and the corresponding actions that needs to be taken before proceeding to do so.

The two groups of 'elite' units faced each other with the other being lesser in number than the other with the advantage of being at home field.

Although Guildford and his subordinates are still a bit apprehensive and skeptical of Suzaku because of her heritage and status they did know and had seen her capabilities so they are quite cooperative with her, especially right now that their princess is still trying to recruit this person to join them.

Some of them might be of noble descent but they all became of the elitist faction after they joined Cornelia's private army.

With each group having an enemy to deal with...

They got busy quickly trying to take down the enemy.

You would think that two ace pilot candidates would start gunning each other down but no!

Kallen and Suzaku seemed to have planned their fight as they both took out their melee weapons with Suzaku being two vibration swords and Kallen having one dagger in her normal hand and her bigger one being a weapon in itself.

Guren stabbed out with its bigger hand using its sharp claws which is promptly dodged by Lancelot with a sidestep.
