Chapter 11

[Sorry i wasn't back for a while i just didn't want to write anything for some time but now i'm back, i won't promise something like a chapter a week or something but i will write when i want or when i can.

Also i changed my mind and the love interest will only be Moon, i know a lot of you all wanted Tory but i just didn't come up with a way to do it so i said fuck it i also rewritted the old chapters (the 10 first chapters) because there was too much gramatical error or things that didn't really made sense.

[1 week later]

For the past week we trained for the tournament.

The training was mostly other fighting with me. At first they it was about being able to land a hit on me but after some days it got to at least last 20 seconds against me.

And the rest of the training was just me polishing my technique with Miguel.

And when i wasn't training i spent time with Moon, we've gone to dates in restaurants, hangout after classes, or i teach her some Kata when she comes to the dojo and i must say she look good in a GI.

Anyway, Dad called me Miguel and the other students to meet him in a junkyard not far from the city.

When we got there Johnny was on the top of a van drinking a beer and said as he looked at us "You trained hard. You've gotten stronger, toughter, faster. You've done your best ! You're ready for this tournament am i right ?" We all shouted "Yes, Sensei !"

"Wrong !" Johnny said as he threw his beer on the ground "Your best ain't shit ! If you wanna win the All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament, you gotta give me better than your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst ! Do you understand ?"

"Yes, Sensei !" We shouted.

"Are you losers ?;" Johnny asked.

"No, Sensei !" We responded.

"Are you nerds ?!" Johnny asked again.

"No, Sensei !" We shouted.

"Are you sure ?!" Johnny asked.

I shouted "Yes Sensei !" While the others shouted "No, Sensei !"

Johnny rubbed his face and sighed while i started laughing.

[A bit later]

First Johnny asked us to run through tires like in the military, balancing on beams with shatered glass on it, above a container full of car debris and sharp glass, and asked us to take a pipe or a baseball bat or anything that we could find and smash cars door or windows.

Of course i didn't need one with my strength but i held back enough so i didn't destroy the cars but put a little dent instead.

It still raised suspicion even if they all knew how strong i was and Hawk asked "Hey man how is that not hurting you ?"

I lied "It does, but i always had to take care of myself and what i did for the past 3 years hurted much more." And showed him the few scars on my ribs and legs that he didn't saw when we introduced ourself on my first day of school.

He became silent and even if the others all wanted to ask more they thought it would annoy me so they didn't and we resumed our training.

[A bit later]

Johnny gave us beef jerky while saying "You wanna win, you gotta be hungry. You guys hungry ?" We shouted "Yes, Sensei !"

"Good. 'Cause so are they." Johnny said before blowing a whistle and dogs ran at all of us.

I didn't run but waited for the dog to approach.

The dog jumped on me but with my strength he didn't made me fall but he didn't stop jumping around me so i gave him the beef jerky patted him before he went for the others.

Then i looked at Johnny who sighed before telling me "huh....you know what. Just run !"

And when i started running i saw Hawk get his ass eaten by one of the dogs as he was trying to climb onto the roof of a car.

'fuck that must hurt' or 'poor guy' is what we all thought.

[At the dojo]

Everyone went home but Me and Miguel so we decided to train on the dummies when Johnny approached us "OK, OK ! That's enough. Save some for the tournament."

"Why are we the only one here, Sensei ?" Miguel asked and i nodded at his question.

"Cause let's face it, you two are the only chance i got at winning this thing." Johnny replied.

Miguel grinned "So what ? We're your best students ?"

"Don't flatter yourselves, Have you seen the others ?" Johnny rolled his eyes while i laughed.

Then Miguel looked at his phone and chuckled.

"What's so funny ?" Johnny asked.

"Oh, nothing, just this picture my girlfiend posted." Miguel replied while showing it to us.

I knew what was coming so i said "Miguel..I don't think that's a good id..." But was interrupted by Johnny "Wait a sec...is that Daniel Larusso's daughter ?"

"Yeah, you know Samantha ?" Miguel asked.

"You're dating a Larusso ?!" Johnny asked.

Miguel nodded and Johnny said "We need to talk." While looking at us.
