The beach

Brooks stopped at the 'beach' where Hawk told him where the party was. He smirked and kicked out the stand before getting off the bike and walking towards the group. It was already dark out when Brooks got there. Brooks was walking down when Hawk looked over and said "Brooks! Over here!" the entire group looked over and Brooks grinned before walking over.

He saw Miguel stumbling over and laughed as he said "Migs what the fuck happened to you?" Hawk chuckled and said "Migs can't hold his liquor." Brooks laughed and said "So what's up with the party?" Aisha was going to say something when a loud shout was heard "Hey!"

Brooks looked over and saw Yasmine walking over, she glanced at Brooks before looking at Aisha and saying "You think it's funny crashing my party?" Aisha said "It's not really your party because we were here first."

Yasmine laughed and said "Yeah well I know you and you're karate gang think you're cool, but we all know who you really are. You're just a fugly bitch and your friends are all freaks. Come on, Moon. Let's go." Brooks chuckled and grabbed the beer from Miguel's hands before drinking from it as he watched with interest.

Moon shook her head and said "No, I'm staying. I apologized to Aisha for what we did. And you should too." Yasmine looked visibly disgusted and said "Whatever, you deserve them." before bumping into Aisha as she walked away.

Brooks looked at Aisha and said "No mercy." Aisha nodded and said "Hey Yasmine!" Yasmine turned around and said "What?" Aisha said "Let me help you to your car." and front wedgied her. Yasmine screeched and Aisha pushed her to the ground.

Brooks laughed and said "Red? Nice touch." Hawk chuckled and said "Hey Brooks, this is Moon." Brooks looked over and smiled as he said "You're the 3rd girl of the trio right?" Moon was a little embarrassed and said "Not anymore. Nice to meet you." Brooks smiled and said "Nice to meet you too." he looked at Hawk and gave him a thumbs up, Hawk grinned and walked away with Moon.

Brooks stood next to Miguel and said "What's up, man." Miguel said "She hasn't answered my texts all day." Brooks said "Her mom took her phone." as he sipped the beer and watched Miguel's expression. Miguel smirked and said "That's convenient."

Brooks chuckled and looked at the hill before grinning as he said "This is going to be interesting..." Miguel was already walking over and Brooks followed behind him, intent on seeing the drama.

Miguel stopped in front of Sam and Robby as he said "Who's this guy?" Robby said "This is your boyfriend?" Sam said "Miguel, relax. This is Robby he works with my dad." Miguel nodded and said "Oh that makes sense." Sam frowned and said "What is that supposed to mean? Wait have you been drinking?!"

Brooks chuckled from the side and tilted his head at Robby.

Miguel said "Nononono, you don't get to turn this on me. What have you been hanging around him for?" Sam was about to speak when Robby said "Hey, man. Just relax." Miguel shoved him and said "Get out of here!"

Robby fell to the ground and got up as he said "You wanna try that again?" Miguel said "Yeah, I do!" Sam got in between them and Miguel accidentally punched her in the face. Brooks spit out his drink and started laughing before he walked over and pulled Miguel back saying "Alright. That's borderline domestic abuse. They put you away for a long time for that."

Robby looked over and said "Makes sense that he's in your company." Brooks looked at him and said "What's that supposed to mean?" he passed Miguel and lightly moved Sam to the side as he said "You want to finish what we started today?"

Robby looked at Brooks silently as the rest of Cobra Kai lined up behind Brooks. Robby said "Your goons?" Brooks smirked and said "WE are Cobra Kai."

Robby looked at the rest of the class before looking back at Brooks and saying "Me and you? We're not done." Brooks looked at Robby and said "We can finish it right now." Robby shook his head and brought Sam over before walking away.

Brooks looked at Robby's back and shouted "Don't come crying to me when you lose everything!" Robby stopped and said "I didn't need you before, I don't need you now, and I won't need your help in the future." he turned his head and said "I'll see you in the tournament." before leaving with Sam.

Brooks narrowed his eyes and clenched his fist. Miguel said "Who is that guy?" Brooks snorted and said "Just some punk." before walking to the cooler. The others looked at each other, confused. Miguel looked at Brooks and tilted his head.

Brooks took a 6 pack and said "Migs, I'm going home. You want a ride?" Miguel nodded and stumbled over. Brooks looked at the rest and said "Training tomorrow." before leaving, dragging Miguel by the back of his shirt, leaving the rest of the people there stunned.

Brooks sat on the bike and said "Get on Migs." Miguel got on and Brooks said "Hold on." Miguel grabbed Brooks, who grunted and said "Watch where your touching." Miguel chuckled and Brooks sped off as Miguel screamed "Where the helmets!" completely sober at this moment.

Brooks laughed and said "Helmets? We don't need helmets!" as he drank a can of beer and crushed it before throwing it to the side as he sped across town. Miguel was holding on for dear life the whole way and vowed to never accept a ride from Brooks again. At least not on a motorcycle.

Brooks came to a screeching halt at the apartment complex, he parked next to the spot Johnny usually parks in and got off of the bike. Miguel hopped off and stumbled a bit. Brooks laughed and grabbed the 3 beers left before wrapping Miguel's arm around his shoulder before walking to Miguel's house.

Brooks knocked on the door and Rosa opened it. Brooks grinned and said "Uhh Hola! Miguel es drunko." Rosa laughed and Miguel said "It's borracho." Brooks handed him to Rosa and said "Yeah, that." Rosa said "Gracias, Brooks." Brooks smiled and said "De nada, Abuela!" Rosa chuckled and shook her head before closing the door as Brooks walked away.

Brooks walked into his apartment and started drinking from the beer cans in his hands before going through the ones in the fridge as he thought of what Robby said. He growled and threw a beer at the wall before slumping to the floor and passing out in the living room.

A while later

Johnny got home and saw the beer cans everywhere along with the beer splatter on the wall and the pool on the floor. He walked to the wall and pushed on it, revealing the cracks. Johnny sighed and picked up Brooks before throwing him in bed and going to looked for beer, only to find none and leave the apartment.

The next day

Brooks stepped out of the car and closed the door. He was wearing a red leather jacket with the Cobra Kai logo on the left chest and the sleeves pulled up showing half of his forearms, ripped jeans rolled up at the bottom, a white t-shirt, high top converse sneakers and sunglasses and his hair gelled back.

Johnny stepped out of the car with casual clothes and sunglasses. Brooks was silent but he had a killer atmosphere around him as he walked forward towards the group standing outside the All-Valley recreation building.

Johnny smirked and followed him, feeling pumped.

Brooks stopped in front of the group and said "Let's get inside." Tory raised a brow and stood next to him as she whispered "Are you okay?" Brooks nodded and walked towards the building. Tory looked concerned and said to the rest "What happened to him?" Hawk said "He almost had a fight with some guy last night."

Johnny walked over and said "What's up?" Miguel said "Hey you're here Sensei!" Johnny nodded and Tory said "Last night? What guy?" Hawks shrugged and said "I don't know, the kid was with Princess Larusso. They even left together." Johnny was confused and said "Diaz, fill me in."

Miguel said "Yes, Sensei. Last night, Brooks had an argument with a 'Danny Larusso type' guy. The guy said something about not needing him before, now, and in the future. Brooks looked pretty pissed and the guy said that they'll settle it at the tournament."

Johnny frowned and Tory said "Do you know the guy's name?" Miguel shook his head and said embarrassingly "Honestly I can't remember much.." Tory sighed and Aisha said "I heard Sam call him Robby." Johnny said "Oh shit. Everybody inside." Tory looked at Johnny before walking in with the rest of the group.

Brooks was standing at the table and said "Cobra Kai." the man looked through a clipboard before saying "Locker room 4." Brooks nodded and walked away. Tory caught up to him and said "Why didn't you tell me what happened last night?" Brooks looked at her and said "Nothing happened." Tory sighed and said "Robby? Ringing any bells?"

Brooks was silent for a moment before saying "I'm over it, plus I passed out when I got home last night anyway." Tory took off his sunglasses and he squinted briefly before going back to normal, she said "Yeah. I bet you are. Drinking yourself to sleep is a good way to get over it." Brooks evaded her eyes and said "Whatever, I'm fine now aren't I?" Tory grabbed his chin and turned his head to face her as she said "Look at me."

Brooks looked at her in the eyes and she said seriously "You're supposed to rely on me. I rely on you, that's how relationships work. Trust me. Next time just tell me what happened, okay?" Brooks looked in her eyes for a moment before giving her a small smile and saying "Okay." Tory smiled and kissed him before whispering "I don't have work tonight~"

Brooks grabbed her waist and whispered "Oh yeah? Do I get a reward if I win?" Tory smirked and said "Maybe." before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. As they were locking lips, the rest showed up and Johnny coughed.

Brooks looked up and Tory separated from him, he grabbed his sunglasses and put them back on as he said "What's up." Johnny squinted and shook his head saying "Not cool, bro." Brooks took off the sunglasses and chuckled as he said "Whatever, man. We all have a surprise for you today." Johnny was confused and said "Did you guys also get custom uniforms? Because I'll return these.."

The class was stunned and Miguel said "You got us custom uniforms?!" Johnny nodded and grinned as he said "Get in the locker room." the group went into the room and Johnny opened his bag, revealing the old Cobra Kai uniforms. It was a black, sleeveless Gi with the All-Valley Karate Tournament symbol on the chest and the Cobra Kai symbol on the back. The outer edges of the upper part of the Gi were yellow.

Johnny threw the first Gi to Brooks and Brooks shed his clothes before putting it on. Tory blushed a bit before returning to normal. Brooks tied the belt a bit loose and the upper part of the Gi was a bit more open, letting the King Cobra tattoo peek out of the right side.

Johnny handed out the rest and said "Nice. Get ready for the most badass entrance you've ever seen." the class grinned and they all looked at Brooks, who nodded and said "Remember." the all nodded and Johnny was confused as he said "What are you guys going to do?" Brooks grinned and said "You'll see."

A while later

The announcer on the stage said "Welcome to the 50th annual All-Valley Karate Tournament!" the crowd cheered and the announcer laughed "Yeah you all love the mats! Let's announce all the Dojos! Coming out of Topenga, we have Topenga Karate!" The crowd clapped and the announcer said "And coming back to the tournament we have, from Reseda! C-"

He was cut off by a chant "Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai!" as Brooks led the group and jogged into the gym area, going to their positions and standing in a line. The announcer said "Cobra Kai!" the crowd cheered and clapped.

Miguel looked at Sam in the audience before turning back to looking straight. Brooks grinned as he flashed a glance at Daniel before tuning back. The announcer said "And fighting unaffiliated! Robby Keene!"

Robby ran out of the locker rooms and jogged towards Brooks before looking at him in the eyes before jogging past him and glancing at Johnny. Brooks watched him go and narrowed his eyes with a straight face.

Robby stood by himself on the other side of the raised stage. His eyes were locked on Brooks and they stared at each other. The atmosphere around Brooks cooled and the announcer said "Let's get to the preliminaries!"
