The Bar Fight

Brooks and Tory sat at a table made of what looked to be driftwood. Brooks smiled at the waitress and said "2 burgers and a big plat of fries with 2 sprites." the waitress nodded and left. Tory held her head in her hand as she said "You're ordering for me now?" Brooks smiled and said "Who doesn't like burgers." he paused and smirked "Or are you just a vegan pussy."

Tory giggled and said "What vegan? Plus is anybody is the pussy here, it's you." Brooks leaned over and said "Oh yeah? Tell me how you figure that, Porker." Tory leaned in and whispered "Very simple. You dragged me to a trashy restaurant and paid for my meal. If you're not a pussy, what are you?"

Brooks sighed and said "I'm just trying to get you to lose some weight. How am I going to sell a porker like you on the black market?" Tory laughed and shook her head saying "It's these that weight be down." as she cupped her breasts.

Brooks spit out his drink and laughed "Porky! We're in a restaurant!" Tory laughed and looked around before saying "Nobody saw, we're good." Brooks shook his head and chuckled. Their food came and they started to eat while talking.

When they were finished eating, two guys came over and eyed Tory. Brooks frowned and said "Hey, dumb and dumber. Can I fucking help you?" the two guys looked at Brooks and said "Yeah you can fuck off. Or we'll make you fuck off. Choose."

Brooks chuckled as he said "I want to see exactly how you're going to make me fuck off." he looked at the white guy and said "Hey Kurt Cobain I thought you died!" Tory spit her drink to the side and laughed. The white guy touched his hair and frowned and Brooks looked at the black guy and said "Hey buddy, don't you know you're only supposed to wear an earring on your right ear if you're gay?"

Tory covered her mouth and the black guy said "Wanna say that to my face, white boy?" Brooks stood up and said "Go bang Nirvana here and leave my girl alone, before I make you eat your teeth." the black guy licked his lips before throwing a punch at Brooks' head.

Brooks blocked the punch and grabbed his arm as he said "Is that all you got? I guess you must be a bottom type of guy." the white guy threw a punch at Brooks, who pulled the black guy's arm and made him take the punch to the face as he said "Aww, a lover's quarrel. Let me help you out."

Brooks twisted the black guy's arm behind him and kicked the white guy in the chest, sending him to the floor before grabbing the black guy's head and smashing it on the table and throwing him face first into the white guy's crotch.

Brooks looked down and shouted "Gross! In the middle of a restaurant?!" the other patrons looked over before retching in disgust. The two guys looked around and glared at Brooks before charging at him.

Brooks side stepped and grabbed the white guy's clothes, pulling him forward before kneeing him in the stomach. Brooks got tackled by the black guy and slammed into the ground. The black guy threw a punch and hit Brooks in the face. The white guy got up and started kicking Brooks as the black guy kept punching Brooks in the face. Brooks covered his face with his arms to block but was still getting hit.

Suddenly, Tory jumped over the table and kicked the black guy off Brooks into the white guy and pushed them away. She stretched out her hand and Brooks grabbed it before pulling himself up. He spat out some blood and grinned with bloody teeth as he shot forward and swept the black guy's legs, sending him to the ground.

Tory pressed her hands on Brooks' back as she vaulted over and kicked the white guy in the face. Brooks grabbed Tory's hand and swung her around, she fell to the ground and stuck out her knee, hitting the black guy in the chest.

Brooks got up and kicked the black guy in the face before raising his fists at the white guy, who stood up. The white guy flicked a knife out of his pocket and the patrons gasped. Brooks frowned and stared at the white guy as he said "Tory, run. Go back."

Tory shook her head and said "But you-" Brooks shouted "Quiet!" Tory tensed up and Brooks said "Go back! Now!" he looked down and saw the black guy moving. He stomped on the black guy's hand, that was reaching for Tory's leg, and said "I'll be fine. Just go. Trust me!" Tory finally nodded and left with both their school bags, but she waited outside.

At a table in the restaurant, Robby was watching everything happen silently. He wanted to step in but he figured he would be a burden. He clenched his fists and stayed still.

Brooks flashed a smile and said "Let's dance, Radiohead." the white guy shouted and charged at Brooks, stabbing forward with the knife. Brooks turned to the side and grabbed the guy's wrist and squeezing before slamming his elbow in the guy's face, stunning him, and turning his back to the guy as he flipped him over his shoulder and slamming him into the black guy on the floor.

Brooks kicked the knife away and grabbed the white guy's shirt before punching him in the face repeatedly. Not stopping at all. Even when sirens came. The police grabbed Brooks and pulled him off the white guy and Brooks laughed as he spit on the white guy saying "Stay away from my brother, you fucking pussies."

Brooks looked up at Robby and grinned as the police took him away. Robby was stunned and clenched his fists tightly.

Brooks was dragged to a police car and saw Tory looking at him. He smiled and said "I'll be back. It was self defense anyways. Go back and I'll see you later okay?" Tory nodded and ran towards the school.

Brooks was shoved into the back of a police car and brought to the precinct near the school. Brooks got his mugshots taken before he was put in a holding cell. Brooks sat down on a bench and leaned against the wall as he closed his eyes. He heard a voice saying "Got any smokes?" Brooks looked over and saw the homeless lady that hangs around the Dojo.

Brooks gave her a funny look and said "Are you just everywhere?" She grinned and said "I'll be anywhere you want me to be." Brooks shook his head and said "Yeah... No thanks. Crazy bitch.." before closing his eyes and ignoring her.

A while passed

A cop came to the cell and said "Brooks Lawrence?" Brooks stood up and walked over saying "That's me." The cop looked at Brooks before saying "Witnesses say you acted in self-defense but you used excessive violence resulting in a severely injured persons." Brooks nodded and said "That's within my rights, no?"

The cop looked at Brooks and said "Excessive violence was unnecessary, son." Brooks shrugged and said "He had a knife, I was nervous." The cop rolled his eyes and said "Regardless. Because of the situation, we can clean the record of the event but you still have to pay bail to leave."

Brooks nodded and scratched his neck before saying "Can you tell me how my record's looking like, officer?" The cop flipped the pages and said "Two counts of minor assault and one count of theft. Not really big charges." Brooks nodded and said "Thank you." before sitting down and waiting.

The cop said "Do you want to contact your designated emergency contact?" Brooks waved and said "Don't bother. She won't pick up anyways. My dad will probably come." The cop nodded and left. Brooks sighed and leaned against the wall as he looked at the ceiling.

Meanwhile

Tory showed up at the Dojo by herself. The rest of the class was getting ready and Miguel said "Hey Tory! Where's Brooks?" Tory winced and said "Brooks got arrested." the class looked over in bewilderment. Miguel said "What?!" Johnny came out of the office in his street clothes as he said "What's going on?"

Tory explained what happened and Hawk said "Holy fuck, that's cool!" Johnny gave Hawk a look before sighing and rubbing his face saying "For fuck sakes. I'll go get him. Warm up here." Tory nodded and Miguel said "He ready beat that guy with a knife?!" Tory smiled and nodded, feeling a little proud, but also a little sad because in the end, she couldn't really do anything to help.

Johnny looked at the excited kids and shook his head before leaving the Dojo and driving to the station.

A while later

Brooks was sitting in the holding cell and a cop knocked on the bars and said "Brooks, your bail has been paid." Brooks stood up and walked out of the cell, collected his things and left the station to see Johnny leaning on his car with his arms crossed.

Brooks walked forward and said "What's up, man." Johnny said "A bar fight? Seriously?" Brooks shrugged and said "What do you want from me? They were telling me to beat it in front of my girl, so I 'Struck First'." Johnny chuckled and got in the driver's seat as he said "Yeah, good job. Be prepared to be swarmed at the Dojo."

Brooks was confused and said "Swarmed?" Johnny just grinned and kept silent as he drove back.

Brooks walked inside the Dojo to see everyone look at him. Hawk shouted "Cobra Kai!" the rest shouted excitedly "Cobra Kai!" Brooks had a wry smile and Hawk said "Tell me about jail, what's it like?" Brooks rubbed his nose and said "I was in a holding cell, not jail. If It was serious I would've went to juvie instead of jail. But how did you guys know?"

Miguel said "Tory told us." Brooks smiled and looked over to see her looking at him a little worried. He said "Alright. Don't think going to jail is cool. If you want to end up like Sensei then keep thinking about it." Johnny smacked his head and said "Very funny. All of you, fall in! Give me push-ups until I'm satisfied! What Brooks did today wasn't cool, don't think about starting any fights outside this Dojo, understand!?"

The class shouted "Yes, Sensei!" before falling in and waiting. Brooks grinned and changed out of his dirty clothes and put on his Gi pants before going to the bathroom and washed his face of the blood. He walked out of the bathroom without a top as he wiped his face. His handsome face had a few cuts and a bunch of bruises.

Tory looked at him and blushed before throwing his Gi top. Brooks caught it and put it on before falling in and starting the push-ups.

A long while later

The class was done and Tory was fixing Brooks' face with the medical kit as Miguel talked with Johnny. Miguel said "So you're going to the Meeting tonight?" Brooks looked over and said "Meeting? What meeting?" Tory grabbed his face and said "Retard, I can't do it if you keep moving!" Brooks turned back and Johnny said "The All-Valley Tournament board meeting. Cobra Kai was banned from the tournament!"

Brooks flared up and said "What the fuck!" Tory shouted "Brooks!" Brooks calmed down and stayed still but he had a frown on his face. Miguel said "I know! That's what I said!" Johnny sighed and said "Don't worry, I won't take no for an answer." Brooks said "I'll go with you." Johnny and Miguel both said "Nonononononononono." Brooks was confused and Miguel said "You're more impulsive than Sensei! He will think of jumping over a table and punching the guy, and you will do it."

Brooks looked at Tory, who nodded with a smile. Brooks crossed his arms and grumbled, Johnny shook his head and said "Diaz is right. Stay at home." Brooks had an idea and smirked as he glanced at Tory. Johnny didn't like the look in his eye and narrowed his eyes and said "No parties while I'm gone."

Brooks scoffed and said "Do I look... Never mind." Miguel laughed and Johnny said "Where you taking that girl, Diaz?" Miguel got nervous and said "I got the perfect idea! So we'll go to the observatory, they have a three way chocolate tasting, then if the sky is clear, we'll watch the stars."

The room was dead quiet.

Johnny looked at Miguel before looking at Brooks, who shook his head and sighed. Tory said "Aww." the three guys looked at her and she said "It's really sweet." Brooks waved and said "Migs, you want to be a sweet guy or the badass boyfriend." Miguel said "Badass boyfriend."

Brooks nodded and said "Then bring her to the racetrack." Johnny pointed at Brooks and said "Hey. No B&E." Brooks snorted and winked at Tory, who rolled her eyes. Johnny looked at Miguel and said "Listen, you want to get in, bring her to the Golf & Stuff. That's where you get all the babes."

Tory looked at Brooks, who coughed and looked away. Tory giggled and pinched him. Miguel nodded and said "Alright!" Brooks spoke up and said "Uh, don't go for mini golf. The clubs are rigged." Johnny looked at Tory, who shook her head and made a thumbs down.

Miguel looked over and said "They are?" Brooks nodded and said seriously "They can't shoot straight, what a waste." Johnny said "You can't shoot straight." then he looked at Miguel and said "Listen, kid. Take my advice, look at Brooks. He got the babe didn't he? That place is fool proof. You can throw Virge in there and he'll come out with a babe."

Brooks chuckled and Miguel nodded and said "Alright, Golf and Stuff it is." Brooks added "Try and convince her to join Cobra Kai too. We're running low on funds." Miguel nodded and everyone left the office.

Brooks was standing outside with Tory and said "Are you busy tonight?" Tory looked at him and said "Why?" Brooks said "Since my dad is going to be gone for the night, maybe you can come over? I know you have stuff with your mom so if you can't that's cool to-"

Tory tapped her lips with her finger before saying "Maybe. I have to see first. I'll let you know?" Brooks smiled and nodded "No problem." Tory smiled and kissed him before leaving, Brooks waved and went back to the apartment complex before cleaning up the house and his room. He even sprayed febreeze in the entire place and washed all the counters and tables.

Johnny came out of his shower and sniffed as he said "What the fuck is that smell?" Brooks passed by with a trash bag and said "Lavender. This fucking place reeked before, man. I cleaned up." Johnny said "Cleaned up? For what?" Brooks said "Maybe Tory's coming over later."

Johnny grinned and said "She is, is she? How far you guys go?" Brooks was speechless and Johnny said "Come on, I'm your dad not a stranger." Brooks shook his head and sighed "What a fucking joy for me. We've only been kissing, maybe a little touching but that's it."

Johnny frowned and said "Are you a pussy? Take charge! Don't tell me you're still a virgin?" Brooks was silent and Johnny's eyes widened as he said "Are you my kid or not?!" Brooks said "I'm only 17 years old or whatever. I've been working all my life, where the fuck am I supposed to get a girlfriend?!"

Johnny sighed and said "Have you done anything?" Brooks said "Everything except sex." Johnny was confused and said "How does that even happen?" Brooks grit his teeth and said "I didn't have time. Most of them were in between 'jobs' in a car." Johnny said "The others?" Brooks closed his eyes and said "Mom came home."

Johnny laughed and patted his shoulder saying "You got this. Listen if you want to get the chicks really horned up, you just gotta squeeze their-" Brooks cut him off and said "Dad! Man, I know what to do!" Johnny grinned and said "You can also play some Foreigner, that shit always works." Brooks sighed and said "I'll keep it in mind."

Johnny rustled Brooks' hair and said "Atta boy! Lose the virge status, or you'll be a pussy." Brooks shook his head and a smile formed on his lips as he turned around and left the apartment going to the dumpster. He saw Miguel, dressed up like he was going to the oscars or something and said "Migs, what the fuck are you wearing?"

Miguel looked down and said "My Yaya said this is good. Why is it bad?" Brooks threw the trash out and slapped his forehead before saying "Come with me. I can't let you kill yourself like this." Miguel was nervous and followed along.

Brooks went to his room and pulled out black ripped jeans, black high top converse sneakers, a Motley Crue t-shirt, and a jean jacket with a soft hood. He threw them at Miguel and said "Change. You like like you're attending your own funeral." Johnny walked by with a suit and spat out the beer he was drinking when he saw Miguel.

Johnny said "You going to the Oscars, kid?" Miguel was anxious and changed right there. He put on the clothes Brooks gave him and said "How is it?" Brooks and Johnny held their chins and Johnny said "Feels like it's missing something..." Brooks went to the bathroom and threw Miguel a tub of hair gel and said "Slick it back, hermano."

Miguel said "Slick it back?" Johnny and Brooks both nodded and said in unison "Slick it back." Miguel 'slicked it back' and Johnny gave him a thumbs up saying "Now that's badass! Nice touch with the Motley Crue T-shirt." Brooks smirked and said "Yeah, adds to the flair. You look good Migs. You're ready."

Miguel nodded seriously and said "Are you nervous, Sensei?" Johnny shook his head and said "Angry. You?" Miguel gulped and said "Yeah." Brooks said "Don't be. Chill out and act natural. Babes won't like you if you're too jumpy." Johnny nodded along with an approving expression.

Miguel nodded and handed the tub of hair gel back before saying "I'm gonna leave my clothes at home. Thanks guys, wait for my good news." Brooks waved good bye and the door closed. Johnny said "You think he does it?" Brooks replied "I give him a 60%." Johnny tilted his head and said "He's pretty goofy, maybe a 40%"

Brooks shook his head and said "You forgot about the clothes." Johnny chuckled and said "You think your clothes are a 20% increase?!" Brooks looked at him and nodded "Of course! I'm a style king!" Johnny rolled his eyes and checked his watch before saying "Fuck, I gotta go. See you later. Remember, Foreigner!" Brooks chuckled and fixed the tie before patting his shoulder and saying "Don't come back until they agree. If you need back up, call me."

Johnny laughed and left saying "Strike hard, kid!" Brooks rolled his eyes and nodded, Johnny grinned and closed the door.
