--- LOUIS ---
"Where am I?" "What is this place?"
I looked around me, and there was only a dense fog surrounding me.
I took a few steps to make sure the path was safe.
I moved my arms to look for something to hold on to so that I wouldn't fall. This situation was making me alert.
My breathing began to quicken, and a tingling sensation accompanied by a slight twinge in my shoulder made me see it. I touched my hand to my chest and then brought it towards my face to see a crimson red liquid dripping from my fingers.
- Blood? - I mumbled in amazement as I checked myself to find the wound. The pain intensified, and my vision began to blur. I kept walking, but now more quickly, I didn't want to lose consciousness in an unfamiliar place.
I tripped over something but managed to keep from falling. The pressure in my chest grew as time went on, and my hand clutched tightly to my injured shoulder to stop the blood from continuing to flow.
