I watched my friends sing and dance. It was the first time I felt like I could stop being on my toes all the time. Ashley smiled at me and took my hand to join them, so I did. I let go of my frustrations and fears, even if it was just for tonight. Once we were exhausted, we lay down on mats on the living room floor. The four of us stared at the ceiling and were silent.
-It's fun to be together.- Said Alex combing his hair back as he smiled.
-It is.- Matt sat up to turn off the lights in the house and turn on a small lamp that reflected stars of all sizes in the darkness. He came over to us and lay on his stomach as he watched us. We mimicked him so that we could all see each other.
-I have something to tell you.- My friends looked at me with surprise that I was breaking the silence. They all nodded and waited for me to speak.
