Hospital
Once we landed, we took our bags and headed for the exit where a taxi was waiting for us.
On the way home, it was quiet. The only thing that sounded was the radio, which warned us that the hurricane season would begin. Therefore the rains would be more frequent. When we arrived at Ashley's parents' house, we saw that their car was not there.
- They arrived later. - My friend read my mind.
I nodded and went into the room, following her.
- Put on a coat. - Alex spoke, approaching me.
- What? - I asked, placing the suitcase in a corner.
- We're going to the hospital. - Ashley opened her wardrobe and took out two coats.
- We had already said that. - She gave me one. I took off the jacket and used what she gave me.
- The weather is a little awful. - I said, looking out the window at the cloudy sky.
- Even if it rains, we'll go. - I raised my hands as a sign of surrender.
- Shall we take your car Ash? - Mateo shouted from downstairs.
