As I entered his office, I could see that the design of the office was different from the one Louis had. On the walls were neutral colours with some pictures full of colourful figures and lines. There were some natural plants. It looked much more cheerful.
He told me to take a seat and left the office for a few minutes. When he came back with a tray of fruit and juice, the image reminded me of my friend who had brought me breakfast. I tried not to laugh at the resemblance.
- I brought something for you to eat. - Joseph put the tray in front of me and immediately sat down in the chair next to me.
- Thank you. I'm sorry to bother you. - I thanked Joseph with a slight smile.
- Don't worry. - Joseph leaned back in the armchair and crossed one leg as he stared at me.
- Is something wrong? - I couldn't stand it any longer. The atmosphere was getting a bit thick.
- What do you mean? - I could tell he was feigning innocence and sounding a bit sarcastic.
