--- Sasha ---
The alarm clock rang. I went to the bathroom to wash my face. As usual, I had had a bad dream. Every night I used to have nightmares. I had already tried to find a solution, but nothing changed. I had to live with that for the rest of my days.
I went down to the first floor, made my usual breakfast and ate. When I finished, I went up to my room to look for my phone, but I saw a piece of paper lying on the floor. I bent down and read it. It was the note that the young man had left from last time. It had been a few days, and I hadn't seen him again. I think he didn't live in the area. I crumpled the paper and threw it under the desk. I took my phone, checked the time and left for work. On the way, I saw Mrs Lilly, so I ran and grabbed her arm. We crossed the street together and parted after she gave me a honey candy like we did every day.
When I arrived at the library I could see that there were already people waiting for me, so I quickly opened the doors. I ran to turn on the computers where I keep track of customers and the light to illuminate the two floors of the building. People were arriving more and more, among the customers most were students they had to study and do work, as they were in final exams.
My whole day went by quickly. I hardly had time to sit down. When my alarm went off, I saw that it was closing time, but there were still students working.
I approached them to ask if it would take too long, they asked for more time to finish their work, so I agreed to close later. The guys reminded me of my friends and me when we attended school. While they were working on their homework, I finished tidying up the rest of the library.
It was about an hour and a half when they finished, they thanked me, I said goodbye to them, and they left. I tidied up the area where the guys were sitting until I heard a voice at the entrance.
-Good evening, how can I help you? -I said as I hurried down a staircase. I ran to the entrance. Maybe it was the young man from last time. I felt excited, but...
-Hello, good evening. Excuse me, do you happen to know if there is a stationery shop open in this area? -Said a slightly older man.
The man was lost, I gave him some directions, and he left after thanking me. I closed the library and walked home. I felt a bit strange as if something was missing.
When I got home, I went straight to my room, put on my pyjamas and locked my room. I turned off the lights and closed my eyes, but I couldn't sleep. I didn't know why. It was as if something was bothering me and making me feel frustrated. I remembered the man who had gone to the library, was I upset about that? What was wrong with me? Who did I want to see? Maybe, I was... a bit upset that it wasn't him?

After I met the girl in the library and asked Sebastian about love, I was bothered by him and my younger brother for the rest of the days. Unfortunately, I had not been able to go to the library again. I had a lot of work to do, plus some things had gotten complicated, so my brother had to close the deal and come back earlier than expected.
During the last few days, I could hardly sleep. I had to sign and correct some flaws inside and outside the company. Fortunately, it didn't take long to fix them. Moreover, it was not only bad things that happened.
We had finally managed to find an artist with a good design and perspective on what we wanted. The artist matched the way of working and the concept of a famous architect. With whom we were likely to work in the future.
We were even lucky enough to receive an email from the representative of a famous writer to work on the company's main project. Although he used a pseudonym to hide his identity, he agreed to work and meet face-to-face at the meetings. Things were going well for the company, but not for me.
It was around 7 pm on Saturday, as I finished work early. I decided to go to the library, at last, I could see her again.
-Louis, there is no more work to do today. Come on! I'll take you home. - Said Sebastian as he pointed to the door.
-It is not necessary, I'll go home alone. You go to yours. After all, you haven't seen your wife this week because of all that work. Buy her something nice and take her out for dinner. - I said as I put my things in my briefcase and took my phone from my desk.
-What? But it's my work. -
-I know, but I'm not going to interfere in your life. I don't want to be hated by your wife. I don't want these rumours about the two of us to continue circulating. - I stood in front of him and took the car keys from him. I was walking towards the elevator, when it was about to close, Sebastian and my brother came running in.
-Why don't you wait for us? - Said my brother, his voice cracking from the short run he made to catch up with me. I tried to ignore them so they wouldn't follow me.
- You're going to ignore us? Wait! The reason you are sending Sebastian home is that you are going to do something without us. Don't tell me what.- He said as he covered his mouth with his hand and stared at Sebastian.
-I'm not going to take them with me. I'm not going to do anything like you think. I want to go home and get the sleep I haven't been able to get. - I said as I watched the doors open, got out of the elevator and went straight to get my car. I tried to ignore them and run away as fast as possible so they wouldn't follow me. I realized that they were still talking, so I took advantage of that moment to leave them behind.
I drove as fast as I could. It was almost 8 p.m. when I was arriving, at the destination I had been planning to visit for a few weeks. I looked for a parking place and found one in front of the library. I was about to get out of the car when I saw the lights go off, and then I saw her get out. She was closing the door when someone walked towards her and greeted her.
-Are you ready to go, miss? - Said a blond man as he hugged her.
-Of course, how did it go with your job? - She said as she hugged him back and continued talking to him.
What was going on? Why were they hugging? The situation made me uncomfortable. I never thought the lady was dating someone. I had only spoken to her once before, but well, it never crossed my mind that she was already seeing someone. I wish I hadn't gone to that place. I was about to leave, but a car parked in front, and a woman got out and ran to embrace them when she saw them.
-Have you been waiting for me long? - Said the young woman as she took them by the arm and pushed them towards her car.
-No. I just arrived, and Sasha was closing the library. -Said the blond, pointing at the young librarian.
I was still feeling a bit strange, so I decided to leave before I saw something else I didn't want to see. Besides, I felt like I was eavesdropping, which was not my intention. But at least I had managed to find out the girl's name.
-Ash, let's go and eat at the usual place. Our friend has just arrived. He must tell us everything he has done over the years. - Said the young red-haired girl as she got into the car.
When I heard that, the heavy feeling went away, she wasn't dating that guy, and they were just friends. I couldn't help but smile. I sat there for a while as I watched the car drive away. Suddenly my phone rang. I picked it up and answered without looking at the screen.
-Brother! Tell us which of the two is my sister-in-law. Is she the one who came out of the car? Please, tell me it is not her. -
-Where are you? Joseph! I told you not to follow me. - I said so little angry. I hung up the call. I looked down the street for his car. When I finally found him, the car moved forward and pulled up next to me. I saw him roll down the window of the car. I could see my brother and Sebastian next to him. They both winked at me with a huge smile.
Let's go to your house. There you can tell us who my sister-in-law is. - Said my brother, who quickly rolled up the window, and they left.
I followed behind them. It seemed that I was not going to be able to rest today either. Unfortunately, that night I was interrogated as if I were a criminal.
