The Meat

*Warning: This chapter will contain blood and gore.*

*Tareq Mirza and his team head back to the RAB headquarters to meet their computer specialist, Lamiya Zarin. A genius when it comes to technology.*

--(Lamiya) Ah, Mr. Turkey. How is it going?

--(Tareq) Please address me more formally, Ms Lamiya.

*Lamiya pokes him on his injured hand.*

--(Tareq) OWWW!!! Why did you do that?!

--(Lamiya) Ms. Lamiya? What is this, a business meeting?

*Lamiya is the childhood friend of Tareq. They have known each other for more than 15 years. Before Tareq could say another word, Lamiya landed a punch on his arm.*

--(Tareq) OWWWW!!!

--(Lamiya) Say Ms Lamiya once more, and I'll make sure you never use that hand again.

--Ok, sorry. I apologize. Sorry.

*Tareq's team barely hold their laugh.*

--(Lamiya) It's ok. Chill. Now, what do you want?

*The team exited the building and got into their car. The location was already sent to Tareq's mobile. They hurried to the place as fast as they could.*

*1 hour later. Midnight, near Ranma*

--(Tareq) Ninad, how far is the place from here?

--(D'Cruz) Just a few meters ahead.

--Then let's move.

*The team got out of the car to find the man. It was nighttime, so there wasn't anyone to ask for directions. But soon after, they found a shop open on the side of the road. They asked the shopkeeper, who pointed to a bungalow a few metres away from the shop. It was a luxurious house with a modern design and bright colours. There was no doubt that someone lived here. They passed through the wide open gate and walked towards the main door, only to find a big surprise. The door had a bomb fixed to it!*

--(Tareq) Well well. Am I not surprised? Somebody fixed a bomb on the door.

*Tareq saw a long wire fixed with the bomb. He found that the wire led to the windows, which also had bombs fixed.*

--(Suvro) Sir, it seems the bomb are all connected. If one gets detonated, the rest will also.

--(Tareq) Hmm, I see. Can you defuse the bomb?

--I'm not sure, sir. It may take some time. And if anything goes wrong, all the bombs will explode, which will cause the house to collapse.

--What do you think the radius of the explosion will be?

--About 1 metre.

--(Tareq, enters the house) Sorry for the intrusion.

*Tareq Mirza and his team started to search the house. The house was messy enough to guess that something disastrous had happened there. Soon, Tareq found what he expected to find.*

--(Tareq) Everyone!

*The teammates went where Tareq was and found a horrible scene! A man was lying in a pool of blood with his mouth slit from ear to ear. His body was filled with bite marks. His flesh was missing from places. Like being hunted and feasted on by a hungry pack of wolves.*

--(D'Cruz) Goodness!

--(Hasan) What human being would do something like this?

*Soon after, Hasan got his answer. A figure, out of nowhere, lunged at Tareq! Fortunately, he dodged just in time. It was a woman who tried to attack. Her entire body was covered in blood. Her dress was soaked with that thick, red liquid. She stared at the officers like a rabid animal.

--(Woman) Stay away! I'll kill you if you dare come near.

--(Tareq) It's ok, ma'am. We are here to help.

--I know what you are here for! You are here to take my meal from me, aren't you? This is my meat! I'm not sharing with anyone!

--Mea...?

*Before Tareq could finish, the woman started to bite off flesh from the corpse of the man! She was eating the man! The scene was so horrifying that it even scared the brave-hearted Tareq Mirza.
