CHAPTER FIFTHEEN – Born to be wild…
"......" My eyes hurt as it was hit by the morning sunlight. Ah... why did I wake up this early? I have enough time to make it in time for the first period.
"It`s not that I don`t want to be late..." I raised my body and changed my clothes. I came out to the living room, straddling over my snoring old man`s body.
The scenery looks different... I can see plenty of students that go to the same school I attend to.
"Well... this is pretty normal though..."
"Good morning!"
"Morning!" I`m standing still inside those students greeting each other repeatedly... I don`t have anyone I could greet, even just one. All of them were just passing by beside me with a smile. I`m sure no one even recognize my existence. That`s why, I decided to walk back to go somewhere else since there isn`t anyone who would call to stop me. But, well... If I ever hope to change this dim, everyday life, then...It might be a good idea to move forward every time as well.
"Just about every day, huh..." I started to walk again after I re-think about that.
Lunch break... The corner of the room suddenly became crowded. It seems as if everyone is in line, waiting for something.
"I wonder what it is?"
"Who knows?" Sunohara and I look at the crowd, holding the bread and juice we bought in our hands. There`s a lot of exciting, bustling activity there. And there were some people there who also seemed discouraged.
"That`s our class president`s seat."
"I wonder if she`s doing a presentation?"
"Fujibayashi`s seat..."
"That`s probably her fortune telling."

"Fortune telling...?"

"N-no... I didn`t say such a thing..." Sunohara shrinks at that glance. It`s Fujibayashi Kyou. A classmate from second year. She`s my class representative`s twin sister. And also, she`s one of those few girls I know who talks to me naturally... She has a... well... bad personality though... Right now though, she should be in the next classroom...
"What`s wrong? You have something for your sister?"
"Nothing really, I`m just killing time. Anyway... it`s popular as always."
"What do you mean?"
"Ryou`s fortune telling."
"Are you saying that our class president is in that crowd?"
"Yeah."
"Is her fortune telling really that good...?" I asked.
"......" Kyou just keep quiet.
"Though she doesn`t look nimble, she sure have some special talent, huh."
Dong! "That hurts! What are you doing!?" Sunohara screams.
"I won`t forgive those who insult my sister."
"I was praising her!"
Dong! "Ouch!"
"Your grades are bad, aren`t they?" Kyou glaring him.
"He always gets red marks." I reply.
"How did you know that?!" Sunohara panic.
"I saw it in your room. I fished it out under your desk, and there`s a bunch of them."
"D-don`t I have any privacy at all?"
"Hahaha! What did he say just now?" I laugh hard.
"Ahahaha! Indeed!" Kyou agreed.
"Both of you are weird!"
"Ah, that`s right. Hey, you loser." Kyou called us.
"Who are you calling a loser?!" Sunohara mad.
"You reacted to that, so it`s you." I reply back.
"It might also be you!" Sunohara deny.
"You`re wrong, I`m talking about you." Kyou said.
"... is that so... Well... what is it?"
"Do you want to try Ryou`s fortune telling?" Kyou asked.
"Eh... me?"
"Ah, Tomoya can also try it."
"Fortune telling... Why don`t you try it, Sunohara?"
"Yeah, I`m a bit curious so I think I`ll try it. Anyway, what sort of fortune telling can she do?"
"She`s actually good at anything, like love fortune telling or if you`re looking for something." Answers Kyou.
"How about when I`m going to search for love?"
"Yeah, that`s not a problem for her."

"Y-yeah!" After Kyou "plays" with him, Sunohara heads to Fujibayashi`s seat.
"Right..."
"Hmmm? What is it?" Kyou facing me.
"Is your sister`s fortune telling really that accurate?"
"......"
"... that face of yours tells me it`s the complete opposite."
"Well, you`ll be amazed if you see it on your own." She grins as she watch Sunohara leaves.
"Hey! Move it all of you!" He pushed the people around and went in front of Fujibayashi. He then sits at a chair with a loud `thud.` Fujibayashi looks a bit troubled by his existence but she manages to prepare the cards.
"... fortune telling with tarot cards?"
"Nope, she`s using playing cards."
"That`s so unconvincing though..."
"But even so, she`s amazing with it."
"... is her fortune telling accurate?"
"......"
"What`s with that face...?"
"Ah, he`s back." Kyou looking at Sunohara.
"Hmm?" I wonder.
"Fuh... fuhfuhfuh..." He`s in a really high mood.
"Yeah, it`s the best."
"`Your hardships will end from now on.``You`re going to start a new life with love.``You`ll meet someone that`s bound to you by the red string of fate.` That`s all. I`m definitely going tobe blooming!" He said that as he smiles, satisfied. Kyou taps his shoulder.
"Hmm? What? Is something wrong?"
"Good luck. You can surely change your fate with your own hands."
"?..... I don`t really understand what you`re talking about, but thank you!" He shows us a thumbs up with a clear smile as he look at us.
"Ah... you`ll feel like giving up later on..." Kyou whispers.
"Hmm? Did you say something?"
"No, don`t worry about it."
"Ah, that`s right, I`ll be going to the toilet, want to come too, Okazaki?"
"Go by yourself."
"You`re no fun at all, isn`t going to the toilet together a proof of our friendship?"
"There`s nothing you can do if I don`t feel like going to the toilet, right?"
"That`s true... well then, I`ll go alone."
"Have fun... what was that reaction just a while ago?" I ask Kyou.
"Well, you`ll understand pretty soon..." She grinning.
"??"
"The start of a new life with love... right..."
Swooosh! Tap tap tap tap tap tap tap!!
"Hmm? Sunohara...? That was fast..."
"Definitely so..." Kyou smile. All of a sudden, I hear the classroom door open, and something rushes in with insane force. He then trips by the teacher`s desk, making aloud head slide as he towards me and Kyou. The dust is flying around us.
"...…" Kyou just looking.
"...…" I waited the word.
"Pant, pant... pant, pant..."
"You sure found something new to play, are you having fun?"
"That`s not the case!" Beads of sweat are running down his forehead as he looks at the room`s entrance.
"What`s wrong?"
"Nothing much, I just bumped into a girl in the hallway just now."
"Did you run after that?"
"You`re the worst."
"No! She was just passing by!"
"Don`t you think it`s fate?"
"The one I ran into was an exchange student that was eating toast and she`s about to attend lesson!" He grasps his fist as he said that. I wonder what kind of dream he was seeing...
"So, what do you really want to tell us?"
"She was really cute."
"And then?"
"Like I said, it`s fate! Red string! New Life!"
"We don`t get it."
"I mean your sister`s fortune telling! I thought it was surely because of the red string of fate. So I flirted with her."
"What did you do?"
"I tried hugging her all of a sudden." He`s truly an idiot.
"When I did that, she suddenly screamed and cried. And then--..." Slam! The door suddenly opened with force... or rather, violently. And indeed, standing there... was some third year rugby member. You can tell just by looking that he`s really angry.
"Hiii!"Sunohara made a small shriek as he hides behind Kyou and me.
"Hey, did some blond rascal went running around here? He`s quite the asshole for suddenly hugging someone else`s girlfriend." The rugby member roars.

"... " Kyou and I look left to right respectively. Then at the same time, we point at Sunohara.

"Let`s go to the washroom for a while!"
"Uu..."UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA------..." He left a trail of voice as he was dragged out of the room.

"Yeah..."We watch the open door for a while. Everyone went to their respective seats as the bell starts the afternoon lesson. Kyou also dashed out of the room.......
