Chapter 1
Ok this is the first chapter of my story.hope you like it.Don't forget to VOTE!!!
Alex POV
I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I left the curtains open, I could feel Maddie(my wolf Madison)eye roll at me for waking up so early. I grabbed my phone to check the time 12:30. I blinked trying to comprehend I slept that long. I wasn't surprised I was up til 3 am watching anime. Hey you can't blame me the show was amazing and funny. Seven deadly sins was my all time favorite amine. My favorite part was when Meliodas and Ban looked like they were about to fig- shit I gotta get ready for school.
I ran to the bathroom,luckily I had one in my room.but accidentally stubbed my toe. "Good one"Maddie said.
"Shut up".
"I just think you should be more careful". She's always been a worry wort. Even though it hurt Like a bitch, but it only lasted for 3 seconds because I healed."Ok fine I'll be careful" I reassured her"But I have you to heal me"I said with a smile."what would you do without me??"Maddie said."I don't know probably die"I said and that made her laugh. I was also done taking a shower and doing my hair(a slick back ponytail) it looked good if I do say so myself.
I ran to my closet,careful not to stub my toe and put on a grey crop top and jeans.
I grabbed my grey Jordan's that were in my closet and quickly put them on, I have to admit your girl got style. Dang I never realized that I have so many shoes. I smacked my forehead. This is not what I'm supposed to be thinking about, I can't be late for college for the hundredth time. I grabbed my phone and walked in the living room. I was already late it's not like running would make time go slower . I searched the kitchen and living room to find Kelsey and Nathan no where in sight. I went to Kelsey 's room to find her still asleep. I woke her up confused that she was still sleeping it's usually her to wake me up."why are you still asleep"I asked still confused.
"It's Saturday why would I wake up early"
"It's Saturday?"I asked. She nodded in response going back to sleep. So that's why the apartment was quiet when I woke up.
Oh and before I forget to mention me,Kelsey,and Nathan own an apartment together.Me and Kelsey are werewolves and Nathan's a human.He knows about the werewolf thing and he wasn't scared. We've been best friends since the beginning of high school. So when high school ended and we all got accepted to the same college we decided to buy an apartment together.
I assumed that Nathan was still sleeping so I decided to go to a cafe. I told Kelsey before I left so she'll know where to find me . I walked down the busy street's of Chicago, I wasn't scared I knew how to fight in wolf form and out ,I could protect myself.
I walked into the cafe which wasn't busy as usual. I ordered my food and sat at a table by the window. I couldn't help but think of my parents and how they died in order to protect me. I still got taken and beat for 4 years. They took me when I was 10 and beat me until I could hardly move. I barely even remember my parents faces or if I had any siblings I had no idea which made me feel like I was a bad daughter. I escaped when I was 14 everything they did I just felt numb to pain and eventually I escaped and shifted for the first time.
I don't know why I shifted early you usually shift at the age of 15-16 but I shifted at 14. I thought it was because I was in danger and Maddie felt the need to help so I brushed It off. Kelsey found me passed out naked while she was on a run, she knew I was a wolf and not human because of my scent so she carried me to her house. Her parents took care of me and treated me as their own, I'm so grateful to her and her family also her pack they claimed me as a pack member and taught me how to fight if I ever got attacked.
I was so caught up in my head I hadn't noticed a man walk into the cafe and was now staring at me, he had two other males next to him who I assumed were his friends. I looked straight in his grey eyes but manage to tear my gaze away. He had the look of longing that I couldn't figure out why he was looking at me like that. Then I suddenly smelt something so sweet yet masculine, it smelled like pine wood,mints,and musk not the stink type but the manly type. My wolf jumped with joy screaming something that I couldn't quite make out as she was excited. The man with the grey eyes, he's good looking who am I kidding he was fine,he's the most gorgeous person I have ever laid eyes on. Then he growled "MINE" loudly so that everyone heard and looked at him.
He didn't seem to notice or didn't care at least,now he was walking towards me with lust in his eyes. When he growled I knew instantly what my wolf was screaming in my head "MATE!!!!" No! I never wanted a mate I didn't want anyone to get hurt because of me I knew the pack that kidnapped me was still looking for me so I thought I was better off alone, plus I didn't feel like I needed anyone everything I ever need or want I could get or do by myself .
I was pulled out of my thoughts when he picked me up and slammed his lips against mines. His lips were soft and they fit perfectly against mine, the kiss was full of lust and longing. I don't know why I kissed him back but it just felt right so I didn't stop. Until he broke the kiss because we couldn't breathe. He put me down and looked me straight in the eyes. I dashed out the cafe as fast as I could and ran and ran and ran until I made it back home.
I didn't know who he was but I could tell he was an alpha and a strong one at that. I knew he would find me but I still have time to think about what happened and me having a mate. I just hope I don't hurt him. What am I saying I don't plan on doing anything with him,I won't let any more people get hurt because of me.And I don't need anyone but myself. After a few minutes I convinced myself that nothing would happen.
I couldn't get him out of my head for the rest of the day. His milk chocolate skin, his hair look so soft with his curls hanging on his face. I think I messed them up when we kissed I kinda put my hands in his hair. And the way his grey eyes looked at me like he could see right through me, don't get me started on his body he was muscular like any other male werewolf but he looked more buff the way he picked me up with his strong arms so easily like I weighed nothing, and that's by far from the truth I can tell by looking in the mirror I'm not light.
I had rather large qualities my breast were bigger than most girls and so was my butt and just by looking at me you could see my curves and I also had stretch marks but I didn't really care about them. I'm not body shaming anyone everyone's beautiful. Ok this is not about me but my mate. Did I mention he was tall like extremely tall he looked about 6'3 he was probably taller. I was getting really sleepy and with that thought I fell asleep.
