Marcus clothes started burning all of a sadden after I made a wish that, he get a little feel of the fire in me. He had no idea how I did it or even when I caused the fire that cought his cloth. Thank goodness he was in a double layered robe. He threw the outer one off his shoulders and run out of my room like a little kitten.
I went straight to bed after, feeling really proud of myself, but when I thought more about what I did, I somehow felt guilty. What if the real Azura liked him a bit, and is someone who'll never do that to him? I kept thinking and almost drift off to sleep.
Just when I was about to close my eyes, I saw a shadow in the curtains at the window, which looked like a man. I stood up and went to the window to see who it was but there was no one there, the only thing I saw was a big bird like an eagle, flaying in the starry sky.
"I thought I saw a man but I think am mistaking. That bird looks like the one I saw the last time, come to think of it, I haven't seen it nor Azus again." I said to myself as I want back to the bed and to my excitement, Azus was already there in my bed waiting for me patiently.
"You took a while to appear again Azus, I think I missed you." I said to my pet excitedly, smiling like a child who's been given a gift she wished for.
"You just have to call me when you need or miss me, and I'll be there at the mention of my name." I heard an unknown voice in my ears even though nobody was around me. "could it be that Azus can hear me and I can hear it thought too?" I asked myself inwardly.
"When am I seeing you in your beast form? I think I don't even remember how you look after the comma." I asked Azus, just trying to figure out if I indeed heard it thought.
"You'll see it very soon, after you've mastered your supernatural powers, especially how to control the fire attribute in you." I heard Azus voice in my head again, and the joy I felt was unmeasurable. I hagged Azus to myself so tight that it had to flap it wings severally for me to let go of it. I kept talking to it, telling it about the life I remember leaving, and the pet was a good listener. He'll ask questions now and then, and I'll answer him happily.
I passed the night with Azus in my arms, but when I waked up the next morning, he was nowhere to be found. My excitement and hope to see him again disappeared, replaced with worries, when I saw my ladies in waiting standing in front of my bed with worried look on their faces.
"What's the problem? Why do you all look worried, did something happen to Chesa?" Not seeing her in my room with the ladies, Chesa was the only one I could think of and worry about.
"Your Majesty, the flowers, they keep coming, and it's taking all the grounds of the palace." Maria, the most worried one, said with her head hanging low.
I got up from the bed in a harry and went to the window to see for myself. My eyes were welcome with a beautiful sight of flowers of all kinds, even though I asked the commoners to uproot as much as they want, the ground still looked full like, not even a single one was taken out of it.
"What am I to do, how do I undo my wishes?" I asked Lora, who was standing behind me at the window.
" Your Majesty, you have to find solutions from the spell book or some of the magic scrolls from old." Lora's voice rang in my ears and I had no idea what she was talking about. Yet, I wanted to do as she said.
I rushed to the bathroom to take my bath and changed into something better before stepping out of the room with my ladies in waiting following me. " Where's Chesa, is she okay?" I asked no one in particular, but they knew I needed an answer to calm my worried heart.
" She's out on the compound Your Majesty." Lora said and took the lead to the compound where the magic was happening.
My eyes couldn't stop looking at the sight in front of me. A sea of numerous flowers of all kinds, welcomed me when I got to the compound of my residence. And it felt like they've been there forever. Chesa run to me immediately she saw us and I knew she had something to say.
"Wow mum, this is really beautiful, how did you wish for all this flowers?" As expected, Chesa's eyes was filled with astonishment.
"Lora, where can I find that spell book or scrolls you were talking about?" I knew I had to do something fast, because from the wish I made, if it's not reversed or undone on time, even the crops in the kingdom will bear flowers instead of food.
"Your Majesty, unless you go to *THE ROOM OF OLD*. It's at the basement of the main palace. Record has it that, the room had solution to every problem that happened in this kingdom in the past." Lora answered, still uncertain of what I wanted to do.
"Get a carriage, we are going there now." I instructed and Lora did as I asked. In less than a minute, the carriages stopped in front of me, ready for us to go to the Abura Palace. We got to the Abura Palace in a while and Lora lead us to a basement that looked like sacrifices were made there years ago.
A huge secret room with many other rooms in it. It looked old and dusty, but not even the change in years was able to get the feel of supernatural powers out of the room. A waist length rectangular altar was built in the middle of the room, with many small squared stones, arranged around it like seats.
I could not understand anything so I looked at Lora for an explanation, but from the look on her face, she looked lost than I was. I checked and every single one of us had the same questioning look on their faces, meaning they had no idea where we were.
I looked around and noticed some symbols and writings on the doors to the other rooms in the secret room, but they were written in a language I had never seen before. I got close to see if I could read anything and yes, the strange language was not something I couldn't read.
The secret room had seven doors which leads to another unknown rooms in it, and on the front of each door was a name and a symbol, which signifies what the room was meant for. I read the names on the doors one after the other, not knowing which one to enter.
"Cell For Beasts, Cell For Humans, The Great Beast Of All, The Great One, Amery Room, The Room of Old and The Treasury Room." I read out loud.
The ladies exchanged surprised look when they heard me read the names on the door with ease, and I could hear them murmuring to themselves how I could read the strange language. Even I was not aware of how I could read and understand the unknown language.
I turned to them to see if they had any idea what we were to do, and just like me their brians were not working in the right way. "It's this one open the door" I said pointing to the door that had *THE ROOM OF OLD* written boldly on it.
Maria went to the door to open it but it was as if something or someone was stopping the door from opening. The other ladies, Lora and Lucia, went to help Maria to open the door, but even though the wood used in making the door looked very old and weak, they still could not open nor break it down.
We stopped trying to open the door and thought on what to do. All the ladies in waiting brought up a brilliant ideas and we tried it out, but none of them seems to have any effect on the door. When we had no other options left, Chesa suggested I use my powers or a wish in opening the door, but fear wouldn't let me.
The guilt of what I've already caused just by making a wish, and the fear that I might not get a solution or worse, cause another problem was all that was in my mind, making me think of what not to do instead of how to open the door.
"Lora have you seen this before? It's might be the key or a way to open the door, see every door has one." I asked pointing to the symbols on the door. I noticed every single one of the doors in the room has a symbol on it, just that each one was drawn in a different way, and I guess they might have a different meaning or purpose as well.
"No Your Majesty, it's my first time seeing it, I haven't even been in this room before. Maybe His Majesty can help." Lora answered with a suggestion, but going to Marcus was nothing I could consider at the moment.
I went close to the door to see if there was anything else on it that I missed, and thanks to my stars there was. The crown-like shape above the double feathered wings that formed the symbol on the door, was actually words and not the base of the crown.
