The ride had been a smooth one from Kelvindor, the capital city of Celestial Kingdom, to Ambaf city, the second largest city of Celestial Kingdom, where Azura would meet her stepmother. She had lots of hope on getting her questions answered, and she wasn't going to let anyone shatter her hopes, not even Marcus.
He had been of great help to her on her journey but that doesn't change anything for her, and she still wished he didn't come along. Chesa who had been the happiest to be a part of the journey, had a moody face all through the journey, and even Azura couldn't change her mood that much.
Hours after their departure, there carriage came to a holt in a dense forest which had a clearing in the middle. "Your Majesty, I think we'll be resting here." Lora said when she noticed the carriage wasn't moving anymore. She peeped through the curtains and noticed they weren't alone, but before she could inform her queen, a butler came to do so.
"Your Majesty, please His Majesty had prepared here for your rest, you can come out and rest for a while before the journey continue." The butler said.
The footman placed a step-like stool in front of the carriage before he opened it for Azura to get down. Lora got out of the carriage first and helped Azura out. Gracefully, Azura got out of the carriage and the first thing she saw was the handsome face of Marcus, which she had wished not to see.
" Welcome my queen, this way, I have prepared this tent for you. You can rest for a while and change before you continue your journey." Marcus said calmly, stretching his hand to hold and guide Azura to the tent.
Even though Azura didn't like his actions, she could not disrespect him in front of his subjects. She accepted his help unwillingly and got to the tent with him. She looked around as she walked and realized the tent she was going to was the only one at the clearing, and some of his men were roasting meat as well.
The guards and knights got on their feet and saluted at the sight of Azura, and she nodded her head in response. She walked to the tent with Marcus as her ladies in waiting followed her. She entered the beautifully arranged tent and she knew Marcus was up to something, but she had no idea what.
Food, meat and snacks were served to Azura by her maids and as usual, Lora tasted it before Azura could start eating. Chesa felt reluctant to eat the food that was served to her, even though her nanny Lucia had tasted it several times. She stared at the food in front of her as if it was something untouchable.
"Auntie Lucia, can I get some fruit? I don't want to eat this food." Chesa said with puppy-like eyes. Lucia had no option than to get fruit for the overly dramatic princess. She got up and went to one of the carriages which had their food and necessities, and took some fruit for the princess.
Azura was in the tent eating peacefully as Lora stood beside her with her head bowed. Marcus waited for her patiently, sitting some steps away from her with his head placed on the back of his hand on his sword, placed upright in front of him.
"Aaahhhh!!!!!!" Screams, loud screaming of a woman could be heard from outside the tent and everyone was alerted at once. Azura rushed out of the tent in a hurry with Marcus and Lora following her. She looked around and noticed all the knights and guards had their sword in their hands, ready to counterattack.
"Chesa, where are you? Chesa." She started calling, searching for her daughter when she didn't see her nor her nanny Lucia around.
"Mummy!, please save us." Azura heard the crying voice of Chesa in her head. She looked around and realized the knights at the side where their carriages was, were more than the other side. She rushed there and she was welcomed by a frightening sight.
A white wolf, with the most beautiful gem-like silver eyes was standing in front of Lucia with Chesa behind her. The knight would have killed it instantly if not that Chesa and her nanny was at risk. "Mummy, please come fast." Azura heard Chesa's voice in her head again.
She was sure she didn't hear Chesa speaking, so how did her voice get into her head? If she wasn't mistaking, this was the second time she was hearing Chesa's voice in her head, could it be that she can hear her thoughts, or she's imagining things.
Slowly, ever slowly, she walked in front of the knights, close to Chesa and Lucia who were in the middle of the knights and guards. The wolf started taking steps backwards upon seeing Azura, but it had no intention of running away. It stared at Azura with a predator eyes as it showed it white teeth in anger.
Azura noticed the wolf meant no harm but instead, it was frightened by the sight of many people, most especially, the knights who were ready to attack it.
"Drop your weapons, it mean no harm." She shouted an order to the knights, but they were not willing to do as she said, afraid that the wolf might attack them if they loos guard.
Marcus stayed behind, watching what Azura wanted to do. Left with him alone, he would have strike the wolf to death with his dark powers, but Azura was giving it a chance to escape or worse, attack the people around and he couldn't understand why. "Don't you think you are giving it too much importance." He asked from behind his men.
" I said put your weapons down." Azura shouted as she turned to the knights, and her eyes shorn brighter for a second sending chills down their spine and they did as she had instructed.
"You can be calm now, no one will hurt you while am here." Azura said to the wolf and everyone around was shock with her behavior, including the wolf itself. She squatted in front of the wolf and stretch her arms slowly, trying to touch it. The wolf took steps back before it stayed still for Azura to touch it, when it notice she had no I'll intentions towards it.
"You can get back to your real form if you don't mind. What are you, a male or female?" Azura said as she caressed the wolfs head.
Alerted, the wolf redrawn from Azura and took steps back again, it wanted to run but what if those after it gets hold of it, it stared into Azura's green eyes with it's silver-like ones and the calmness in Azura eyes gave it comfort. "How can a human know what I am? Is she perhaps..." The wolf thought as it looked around casually.
"Get me a robe." Azura instructed. She noticed the wolf wanted to transform, but it didn't want to do it with the many people around. "Can you please turn around?" She said to the others, specifically the men.
Everyone turned on Azura's instructions, except for Marcus, who was adamant on getting rid of the wolf. He didn't want to miss a chance in seeing it transform, or what it will do. Azura took the robe from Maria and rapped it around the wolf who sat on the ground calmly, staring at her in astonishment.
Less than a second, a bright white light covered the entirety of the wolf and kept brighting till no one could keep on watching. In a while, it went off totally reviling slander legs and blonde hair which looked so silky. The hair glittered under the slight sun rays, which peeped through the canopies of the many trees, and one might think the hair was silver.
The robe was lowered slowly by the one in it and a beautiful figure of a woman, was reviled to the eyes of those who got the courage to watch. Everyone around including Marcus and Azura, opened their mouth in owe at the sight of the woman. Blonde hair which looked like silver, pale skin which threatens to disappear in snow, a slander body, a silver-like eyes with a slim noble nose between them and a small pale lips.
Azura rushed to her and covered her well with the robe when she noticed she was a girl, about fifteen to eighteen years old. She took the girl to the tent Marcus had arranged for her earlier and got the girl something to eat, and clothes to wear. Chesa and Lucia joined them in the tent and the girl lowered her head in embarrassment.
"Am sorry I scared you, it was not my intention." She said with her head still lowered.
Non of the two ladies responded to her and she kept her head bowed, not sure what to do or say. Azura noticed the two ladies were still frighten by her, and so she decided to be the one to talk instead. "It okay dear, no need to be embarrassed. I could see you were also frightened by us. What is your name?"
The girl lifted her head and took a long look at Azura, with lots of questions running through her head. She was shocked by Azura's actions towards her. She had never come across any human who was this kind to her, nor had any human known her true form without knowing her.
"Who are you? Except that you are a goddess, I can't understand how you knew what I truly am." The girl asked, ignoring Azura's questions.
"You can say I am. Maybe I felt your true self because am the goddess of earth." Azura said and all the ladies in the tent including the wolf girl, opened their mouth in owe.
"Wow Your Majesty, I think this wolf girl is a good luck." Lora said and the others agreed, staring at the girl.
" Why?" Azura asked, not understanding what Lora meant.
" Your Majesty, for the first time since you waked from the comma, you accepted you are the goddess of earth, soon you'll also accept that you are the queen of this kingdom, the only Queen Azura Galaious." Lora explained happily.
" You mean she's Her Majesty Queen Azura Abamicha Galaious of Celestial Kingdom?" The girl asked and Azura's ladies in waiting nodded their heads to say yes.
"Am sorry Your Majesty, I didn't mean to be rude by intruding on your entourage, please forgive my rudeness." The girl went on one knee and bowed her head as she spoke.
Azura held her by the shoulder and made her stand before asking her again. "What is your name?"
