[ INFACT YOU ARE RIGHT ]

Azura turn to leave, wishing she could spend more time with Enoch, but she also knew she had to go. She held her long dress up and walked gracefully to the door, but before she could open it, Abesselom grabbed her by the waist from behind and placed his head on her shoulder.

He brought his mouth close to her ears and whispered. "Must you go now? Can't you stay a little longer?" His lips was so close to her earlobe that, his words sent chills down Azura's spine.

"Aren't you the one who doesn't want to defame me?" Azura asked, bringing her index finger up and down to signify quotes on the word "defame".

Abesselom turn her to face him and before Azura could think of what he was about to do, she found herself on the bed in the room, lying beneath him. Their sight was cought in each others, with their heartbeat rising and their minds doing the talking for them.

"I know you don't want me to go, so why are you pretending you do?" Azura asked inwardly.

"I don't really want you to go, but you are the queen of this kingdom and I can't stop you from doing so." Abesselom replied to Azura's thought without her knowing. He had blocked her from hearing his thoughts, and since Azura didn't remember much about her life as the goddess she is, she could not hear his thoughts.

"I wish I can hear your thoughts, just like how I could hear my pet Azus." Azura said inwardly again, looking at Abesselom in the eyes.

"I wish I can let you hear me, but I don't know how you'll handle the truth you might find." Abesselom said inwardly, replying to Azura's thought telepathically.

Time flew like wind, but the room remained silent untill Azura waked from her sleep, she had no idea when or how she slept off in Abesselom's arms. She lifted her head to look at him and he was also sleeping peacefully, forgetting the world outside.

Azura stood up and down from the bed, she made sure she was looking okay and her dress was intact. After looking at herself in the hanging mirror that was close to the bathroom, she decided it was time to leave. She went to the door to open it, but before she could take a step out of the room, a voice stopped her.

"Won't you say goodbye before leaving?" Abesselom's manly voice echoed in the room. It was as if he had not been sleeping at all.

"I.. I thought you were... sleeping." Azura answered. She felt embarrassed for being cought, but there was no way she was staying for one more minutes. she might be fake, but she was the queen and has to behave like one,

"I hope you don't mind, because I have to go, it late already." She said with a flushed face when Abesselom walked and stopped in front of her.

"I'll escort you" He replied simply.

They went out of the Abess inn and went to its stables to fetch their horses. Once they were settle on their horses, they rode off to the mountains, where the royal palace of the kingdom was located.

__________Back at the palace.

Marcus kept pacing to and fro in Azura's room, looking very angry and anxious. He chose to stay in her room to wait for her instead of being in his own room to listen to his wife, lady Pearler taunting him. But the anxiety in him wouldn't let him be at peace.

The maids and ladies in waiting of Azura, stayed in front of her door waiting for her as their King stayed in the room, fear, anxiety and worry was written on all their faces, thinking of what might have happened to their queen or where she was.

Minutes turn to hours, and even the day turn to evening, but there was still no sign of the queen. The standing maids got tired and sat on the floor, while the ladies in waiting kept pacing here and there, waiting for their queen's return.

Marcus got fed up and decided not to wait any longer, she can choose not to come for all he cared. He'll make sure to find a new way to make the throne of the kingdom his. He stormed out of the queen's room in anger and thought of going back to his own room, where his wife lady Pearler was waiting for him.

Just when he got out on the compound and his personal knight Lion, thought of escorting him to his residence, the gate of the palace was opened and a white horse run in, being ride by Azura. He stopped in his truck and waited for her to get off the horse before rushing to her.

"Where are you coming from? Do you know how worried I was?" Marcus said, holding Azura's hand. Yes, Marcus was worried just like any other person who cares for Azura, but he didn't worry because she was long gone. He worried what might happen with the throne if Azura doesn't come back, knowing he can't keep the throne if Azura is no more.

"From searching for the truth, and you won't believe what I found." Azura's words shook Marcus up. He couldn't think of what Azura might have found out at the other side of the boundaries.

"What did you find? That there's another person who can cross the forbidden bridge other than you and I?" Marcus said, trying his best to look polite and calm, but he was scared to hear what Azura might say.

"Infact you are right, I did found another person who can cross the bridge, not just that, he can come and go. Unlike you who came and claims he can't go back to the other side." Azura said with a smirk playing on her lips. She was lying to Marcus yes, but she knew that was the first step she needed to take in getting to the truth behind Marcus's arrival to the palace.

"Wether you went to the other side or not, I know you went to see a man, so be careful what you say about me, else everyone will know." Marcus went close to Azura and whispered to her, so no one but the two of them could hear.

"I know you didn't come from the other side." Azura whispered back and left to her room, leaving Marcus shock and worried of what else Azura know.

"Maria, prepare me a hot bath, Lora come with me to my study. The rest of you can retire for the day. Azura said, behaving like the queen she is, maybe meeting the one she loved did her some good.

"When did you say Marcus came to this Palace?" Azura asked immediately she and Lora were seated on the sofa in the study room.

"Your Majesty, that was when the last war was still on, you had just turned fourteen, but you still insisted on going to the war with your father King Nephai, even though you didn't know how to fight with a sword." Lora said, looking proud like a mother who's child did something appealing.

"Was he here because of the war? Azura asked.

" No Your Majesty. He came with you after the war. From his side of the story, he saved you by chance when someone from the Amy of Damtland kingdom stabbed you from behind. You went missing for three days and we all thought the enemies had you. But he brought you home on his horse." Lora explain.

" How did the war start?" To clear her curiosity, Azura asked again.

" Your Majesty, you want to the boundaries when you were twelve years old, those who saw you crossing got scared that you might bring calamity to the kingdom. Others who knew the cause of the curse had vowed not to allow the people behind the boundaries to come to this land.

Some of the Chiefs and even the Kings from the other two kingdoms came and asked for your death. But the king wouldn't give you up, even though he also knew what the other kings feared could come true. The talk about you being the one to break the boundaries spread like wild fire, and everyone who was against the people from the other side, wanted you dead.

That way, there would be no one on the continent to go beyond the boundaries. Meaning the people on the other side won't be able to cross. A year later, a war broke between the three kingdoms. Thankfully, Celestial Kingdom had the upper hand on both Damtland and Nimoland Kingdom, but they joined their arms and forth against us.

On the last face of the war, you insisted on going with your father, you ever threaten no burning half of the kingdom if he doesn't go with you. And knowing you so well, the king had no choice but to take you with him." Lora ended her story.

" So if I was with my father, how come I got lost, where was I stabbed? Azura asked after some thought.

"Your Majesty, Have you forgotten, you are the one who healed yourself from that big scar, it disappeared like it was never there." Lora answered, using her hand to gesture how fast the scar disappeared.

"How was I when I came back home?" Azura was finding it difficult to believe that Marcus actually saved her.

"You were okay but just weak. and you said you don't remember His Majesty saving you. Even when he was insisting he was the one, you kept saying you think you saw someone else, but after he narrated how everything happened, you got to know it was him." Lora tried her best to clear Azura's doubt.

That's all for now, I'll call you when I need you." Azura dismissed Lora and went to her room, still not believing Marcus was the one who saved her.

Her face brightened immediately she stepped in her room. She felt the presence of someone even though no one was visibly present. She went to her bathroom and took her bath with the help of Maria and Lucia. before going to bed after dismissing them.

"Will you keep hiding or you'll let me see you before I sleep?" Azura asked. All of a sudden, a man appeared in the room, dress like a noble.

" I came to say goodnight to you." Abesselom, who was there as Enoch said, his voice like a melody.
