Azura kept pacing in her room, with worry written all over her, wondering if she did the right thing. "How can he afford all the things the royals of this continent wear, what if he doesn't look so convincing?" Azura asked herself.
She felt like she asked a lot from Enoch, but she was also sure he could handle it. Her worries were how Enoch was going to appear. He has to look convincing to the people around, so that her plan will work and hopefully, nothing goes wrong at the royal ball.
" Your Majesty, please it time to go, everyone is waiting for you." Lora said, interrupting Azura from her thoughts.
Azura turned to Lora and decided on going out finally, but before, she turned and had one last look at the window before leaving. She felt as if someone was there watching her, but who it was, she had no idea. She followed Lora nonetheless, stepping out of her room as her maids and ladies in waiting followed her in a hurry.
She onboard the carriage of the queen with Lora, whist her maids entered another one. Few minutes ride and they were at the Abura Palace, where the royal ball was being held. Even before she could get out of the carriage, the people on the palace compound started hailing her, wishing her good health and long life as their Queen.
She felt happy upon hearing her citizens hailing her and wishing her well. This brought tears into her eyes, she had never been respected this much before, nor did she had this much people hailing her or wishing her well. She opened the curtains in the carriage lightly and took a pee at the people around, and her tears almost ruined her face.
"Your Majesty, you have to be happy instead of sad, they are your people and has always been like this" Lora who saw Azura's situation stated, handing her a face cloth to wipe her teary eyes.
" Am not sad Lora, this are just tears of joy. How can they hail this happily without knowing who's in the carriage?" Azura said, smiling through her tears.
" Your Majesty, this carriage is meant for only you, it bares your symbol which is the dove, and the seal of this kingdom, which is the hand holding a trident and a gem stone that belongs to The Great One. So when they see it, wether you are in or not, they see it as their queen's arrival." Lora explain.
Azura stayed in the carriage for a while, trying to calm herself and look good before her people sees her teary and puffed eyes. The people around started worrying and murmuring as to why she wasn't coming out. Of course her sharp ears left no word unheard, she felt the worry of her people and decided to step out of the carriage finally.
"All hail Queen Azura.!!!" "Hail!"
"All hail our protector!!!" " Hail"
" All hail the uniter of this continent!!!" "Hail" A man shouted and the people responded in unison as their cheering went on higher upon seeing their queen.
Azura stepped out of the carriage after Lora, with the help of the footman and her ladies in waiting. She smiled happily and wave at the people before proceeding to the ground ball room at the main palace. The huge mahogany doors to the throne room where the royal ball was being held, open for Azura upon her arrival as the guards saluted her with respect.
"Her Majesty, Queen Azura Galaious Abamicha, of Celestial Kingdom, is arriving!!!" The gofer announced her arrival loudly.
Azura had been walking in front of the elders of the kingdom in the royal court for a while, so walking in front of the many people she was greeted with, was a master piece for her. She walked majestically to the ball room with a pleasant smile on her face as her three ladies in waiting followed her.
Most of the people in the room, including the royals, opened their mouth in awe at the sight of Azura, with all the guest getting on their feet to welcome the queen. She looked glorious in the green silk floor length dress that flowed behind her as she walked to the throne area, where seating arrangement were made for the kings and queen's of the continent, with that of Celestial Kingdom's being the highest elevated.
She turned her head from side to side as she nod in response to the greetings from the guest in attendance, and the precious gem stones on her huge golden crown, jewelries and even her dress kept glittering in multiple colors. The jewelries around her neck and on her dress almost reached her knees, giving the guest a slight view of the goddess that she is.
Azura should have been the happiest person in the room with the sight that welcomed her, but just one person's presence made her turned moody. Below the elevated steps where the throne of the royals were placed, was princess Chesa, standing beside King Marcus with a smiling face. Her excitement upon seeing her mother was unmeasurable.
Azura embraced Chesa and let her lead her to her throne after a while with the king following them. The murmuring which was long forgotten started again, as the people were wondering why the queen didn't give the king a huge or at least allow him lead her to the throne. But Azura didn't care what they think or say, she took her seat on the right side of the throne and Marcus sat beside her on the left side quietly.
The music played for a while before it ended with applaud from the guest, and Marcus got on his feet to officiate the begin of the celebration. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the recovery of our queen, and wish her long life with good health. Let the celebration begin." Marcus said with his kingly voice and the people cheered him with lot of excitement.
The orchestras continue to show their talents as they played melodious songs, and the dancers performed to the music. Other people also showed different kinds of talents, but non of these got Azura's attention. She kept looking at the entrance as if she was waiting for someone, but nobody showed up until it was almost time for the ball dance.
"His Highness, Prince Abesselom Daoistalion Galaious of Dewan Kingdom, is arriving!!!" The gofer announced, getting the attention of everyone in the ball room, including Azura and Marcus.
Everyone was wondering who it could be and which kingdom was Dewan, they had never heard the name of the prince nor that of his kingdom before. "Could it be that, this unknown prince is from the other side of the boundaries? If so then how did he get here? Is he the one the prophecy talked about?" Many people kept asking questions to the ones close to them, seeking for answers till....
"Woooow." Everyone's mouth, including the royals, dropped open in awe, with shock written on their faces as their eyes popped out and got stack on the angelic figure at the entrance. The room became silent all of a sudden and ever activity stopped. Everyone had their attention given to the man at the entrance of the throne room.
A godly looking man was entering the ball room, with an authoritative aura and two other men walking behind him. He looked like an ancient elven prince, wearing a shear golden and red robes with beautiful crystals, bathing in a pool of iridescent shards of jewelries and his crown surrounded by large precious stones and golden crystal, that glitters in multiple colors under the sun rays.
He was the true definition of glamour. He walked down to the throne area as the ladies and even some men from the guest admired his beauty. His long black hair was half raised in a ponytail while the other half flew freely on his back. With an expressionless face, he walked graciously to the elevated thrones, where the invited guests were seated.
By passing the other royals, he went all the way to the highest elevated throne, and extended his hand to Azura for a shake. Suddenly, Marcus snatched his hand for a shake instead of Azura, faking a smile that could make everyone see he didn't like the new comer. "Am King Marcus Abamicha of Celestial kingdom, and she's my wife, Queen Azura Galaious Abamicha, you?"
Abesselom turned to Marcus and gave him a dark look, before looking at the hand that was holding on to his. He took his hand off Marcus's hold and signaled his men to come ove, ignoring Marcus's question. The two men with him had no clothes on, but only strange looking jewelries on their uper body and a piece of clothe rapped around their waist.
A box that was covered with green silk clothe was in the hands of the men, and it was brought close to the throne. Abesselom held Azura's hand, lifted it up to his mouth and placed a soft kiss on the back. "Your Majesty, please allow this lowly prince to congratulate you on your recovery, and wish you long life with good health, please accept this small gift." He said.
Azura couldn't respond as she couldn't take her eyes off the exposed part of Abesselom's chest. She glued her sight on him as she kept wondering who the man in front of her was, and why it felt as if she knows him. "Your Majesty, sorry if my gift doesn't reach your expectations, I had short time to prepare since I heard of the ball today."
Abesselom knew what was going on in Azura's head, and needed to get her attention to something else. Azura galloped the saliva in her mouth and lifted her head to look at the man in front of her. "Have we met before? Where are you from?" Azura asked when she gained her senses.
"I doubt that Your Majesty, but it possible for as to meet, even though a magical boundary is separating our kingdoms." Abesselom said with a smirk.
" You mean you are from the other side of the boundaries?" Azura asked to the hearing of everyone in the room.
" Yes Your Majesty, I Am prince Abesselom Daoistalion Galaious, and the kingdom on the other side of the boundaries is Dewan Kingdom." Abesselom said, bowing to Azura with a smile.
Azura's heart started tamping faster in her chest upon hearing his name and identity. " Galaious." She repeated and stared at him with fright in her eyes, wondering what she should do "Was her plans going to fail? What if something goes wrong?" she thought as she held her dress tightly.
