Chapter 191
Lucian
It has been a few hours, and the vampire still lay on the floor, unmoving. He wasn't breathing, and we couldn't tell if he would wake up. I groaned in pain, turning to my side as I rested. I was restless. I wanted to sleep so badly, but the pain consumed my thoughts. It made me feel exhausted, yet I couldn't close my eyes.
Just then, the vampire's body stirred, and Vladimir stood up from the chair. He walked toward the body, lowered himself down, and observed the vampire.
All of a sudden, the vampire sprang up from the floor, clutching his chest as he breathed heavily.
The corner of Vladimir's lips pulled into a smile as the vampire looked around in confusion. He suddenly screamed, clutching his head as though he was in terrible pain.
He looked around with wide eyes, shaking profusely.
"I'm dead... I'm really dead," he stuttered.
