She had never taken the initiative to kiss him before, nor had she ever been so aggressive in her response before. He was completely thrown for a loop and was simply responding, following her lead. 

The Emperor suddenly knit his brows and opened his eyes when he felt Lei Xing clawing at his collar in a failing attempt to remove his clothes. He grabbed her hands and raised his head and received a disgruntled moan and a frown from Lei Xing.
