Hundred and Thirteen: When it rained.

"Hey you," Cindy said as she walked into the apartment.

Jeremiah sat on the couch being entertained by the television while Jade was in the in the kitchen whipping up some magic to grace a plate for him.

"Hey Cindy. How have you been?"

"Alright," Cindy said as she took off her jacket and temporarily disposed of her handbag after having retrieved her cellphone from it, "just trying to keep it together and be positive."

"You are looking great so I will assume you are just being modest," Jeremiah responded as he scooted over to the side so she could sit beside him.

"Consider me flattered," Cindy said as she threw herself into the sofa next to him.

"Consider yourself in trouble," Jade's voice emerged behind them as she came in from the kitchen, "for flattering her and not me."

"Well that's because you flatter and flatten me by just your mere presence," Jeremiah said as Jade came and occupied the other side.
