Chapter Seventy-One: Breaking and entering.

  The door opened and Hazel found her messy looking brother once again on her doorstep. This time, at his own behest. His face told a hundred stories all at once and so she swept in and took him into her arms. He sunk in and within melted as a distressed child in the hands of a caring mother.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

She felt his head shake. The gun incident had left more than just gun powder residue, it had left trauma in his mind. But he had not killed him, he had only wounded and dismembered organs for life. Still, he questioned that if he could pull the trigger as he had done to injure, he was capable of doing it to kill. And so that made him a murderer in his own head.

"Come in," Hazel gently invited him inside.
