"Letters For My First Love" is a teenage drama about a boy who has a secret love for a girl in their class. The girl he likes is popular not only in their class but also in their whole school. She always excels in both academics and sports. She was also popular because of her beauty. But even if the girl can be considered a little celebrity in their school, she remained humble and kind.

These qualities captured the heart of a timid and shy boy in her class. He is the type of person that you will never notice unless someone gives extra attention to him. The boy also prepared a preserved tulip in a bottle as a gift for the girl. He put his love letter inside the gift box and decided to give it to the girl after their class. However, the box went missing from his locker.

He discovered that the box was stolen by his best friend who also likes the girl. When his best friend gave it to the girl, she totally thought that his best friend is the person she was looking for. The boy planned to tell her the truth, but when he saw his best friend and the girl he likes being happy together, he gave up this idea. In the end, he transferred to another school and decided to forget them.

But of course, there are no secrets that cannot be revealed. The girl will know the truth after two years. It is because the boy who was with her all the time did not know the contents of the notes she received from her mysterious sender. After a few more investigations, the girl finally discovered the truth. When she tried to meet with the boy, she discovered that he had already moved on and he seemed happy and contented with his life. On top of that, the boy is now pursuing another girl from his new school.

When Francheska first read the whole script of this drama, she was a little bit surprised. She cannot help but asked Director Jamie about its ending. This script was written by Director Jamie herself. Usually, teenage dramas are full of fluff, cuteness, and love stories. Francheska did not expect this teenage drama will not end as a happy ending where the female lead and the male lead will be together in the end.

"I just want to make a realistic show for the viewers who will watch it that we cannot get all the things we want in our life. Not only that, but I also want to convey that no matter how much we regret, but there are also times when we cannot change everything we had done in the past. The only thing that we can do is accept it and remind ourselves not to do the same mistake twice."

When Francheska heard the director's answer, she finally understands why Director Jamie is one of the best directors in this industry. It is not only because she is really good at her own work. But it is also because Director Jamie is a very realistic person. She does not follow the usual trends that every director used to make in every movie. Director Jamie is using her talent to show the viewers the reality that is happening in our world.

Even though she is doing a teenage drama, this show is not all about fantasy or childish love. Director Jamie wanted to show a realistic lesson on it. Even though the conflict in this drama is too unrealistic, the results of it can still be applicable to everyone.

Director Jamie is right. We cannot get all the things that we wanted in our life. Just like her. She only wanted her family to happy. But in the end, they got separated and her parents broke up.
