KELLY’s POV
"Can you tell me how it feels not having braces in your teeth, princess?" The question came to Dad's mind as he put the bacon into his mouth and closed his eyes, savoring the taste. “The guy you're interested in will most likely drop his jaw when he sees your smile, I'm sure of that."
He pointed his fork towards me and winked.
I giggled as I wiped the corner of my lips with a table napkin. “It feels amazing dad. I could finally show him that I’m no longer a little girl.”
"That's great, Kelly," my mother said as she pushed a glass of milk in front of me. “However, please remember that you’re still young and that you must focus first on your studies, understand?”
I nodded and she smiled. “But if ever he’d ask me to marry him, I’ll say yes right away.”
