There is no such thing as simple in the world especially when it's a world where special weapons called Relics decide your career. And because of this, Percy Ashtein had no other choice but to be cold-hearted and guarded at all times. But will the arrival of the mysterious silver haired mage change everything? Not just for him but the world as well? ******* A/N: I appreciate honest and helpful opinions. Xoxo, White_May (Bai_Wu_Yue)

Ranking System and Relic/New-Types Class

All throughout the story, a ranking system had been made to determine the strength of the characters and their enemies. Just something I made to make the ranking a little understandable and I don't have to put notes every chapter.

The first ranking system is for the Wielders and Users. They use the ranking of gambling cards with level one as the lowest and ace as the highest.

Level One - lowest

Level Two

Level Three

Level Four

Level Five

Level Six

Level Seven

Level Eight

Level Nine

Level Ten

Jack Level

Queen Level

King Level - highest

Ace Level - sort of like a trump card. A wielder/user whose strength is out of the norm and does not belong to any standards.

Next is the ranking system of the Relic and New-types. It's simple, letters...

F-rank - lowest

E-rank

D-rank

C-rank

B-rank

A-rank

S-rank - strongest

Myth-rank - relics often found in mythical stories. Example: Thor's Hammer or Hercules' Nemean Lion Coat, etc.

Sacred-rank - relics whose origins are unknown yet boasted power that is off the charts.

Note: A-rank to Sacred-rank often had their own personalities/spirits/ avatar. It will be introduced at a later date.

Relics and New-Types also have this term called class. Technically, it's a term used to determine how destructive a relic or new-type can be:

Destroyer-Class - relics that often had a wide-range of effect. Very destructive. An example would be Daniel's relic, Lema.

Element-Class - relics that could bend specific elements of nature like fire, water, etc. usually, its range-of-effect is only a few meters from its user, but it depends on what rank it is, level of its wielder and the wielder's capabilities as well.

Apocalyptic-Class - a relic very dangerous. With the name itself, you can guess how dangerous it can be.

Note: might have more in the future... Still thinking about it. Haha!

Relics and New-Types also had different types:

Sword-type - relics with the shape of a sword. Percy's relic, Akeras, is an example.

Internal-type - a relic or new-type that often resides inside the person's body. An example is Neri's relic, Steron.

Equipment-type - a relic that had to be worn by its wielder. An example is Kitty's gauntlet, Rohi.

Gun-type - relics or new-types with the shape of a gun. Cam's Nornus is an example of it. Although Nornus is a bit unusual since it could turn into a rifle and even a bazooka when Cam wants to.

Irregular-Type - a relic whose shape does not resemble any sorts of weapon. Lisa's Lux, is an example. It has the form of a cloth or a bandage often put on her upper arm.

Note: more to come as the story progresses.

Wardens also have their own classifications. Three of its general types are:

Land-based - wardens that are restricted to move only on land.

Air-based - wardens that can fly.

Water-based - wardens that operate in the water.

Wardens are ranked using the pieces of a chess game and later how nobilities are ranked.

Pawn-rank - weak ranking wardens often coordinated by rook-rank and above.

Rook-rank - second lowest. Usually big.

Knight-rank - third lowest. few knight-rank wardens possess powers.

Bishop-rank - fourth lowest.

Baron-rank - wardens in this rank often have intelligence but has the shape of things.

Viscount-rank - also has intelligence but often has animal shapes.

Earl-rank - has intelligence but has a humanoid form.

Marquise-rank - has intelligence and has the ability to shapeshift into a human.

Duke-rank - has intelligence, extra powers and can turn into a human as well. At some point, it even has a weapon its choice. The same level as a Queen Level wielder.

Queen-rank - strong. Very strong. Has the capability to wipe out an entire country if needed.

King-rank - Strong and dangerous. Leader of wardens and has a very large true form. In Althea's world, a king-rank warden ate their sun and caused for the end of their world.
