Chronicles of Draconian Empire:The God of balance

In the world of Drasia, where diverse lands and cultures intertwine, the focus of attention shifted dramatically to the Olympus civil war, a conflict that threatened to reshape the balance of power across the realm. Amidst this turmoil stood the city-state of Draconia, a formidable and influential entity known for both its prowess in trade and its swift, decisive actions against any who dared to oppose it. At the heart of this turbulent landscape emerged the enigmatic figure of Alex, known as the God of Balance. With his keen strategic mind and unparalleled leadership, Alex led his armies not only in battle but also in the advancement of civilization itself. He provided them with the tools of war and the means to propel their societies forward. Yet, beneath his outward facade of strength and determination, Alex harbored a deeper understanding of the delicate equilibrium that governed the world. As the Olympus civil war raged on, Alex saw the need for intervention to restore balance. He marshaled his forces and intervened, aiming to bring about a swift conclusion to the conflict. However, as peace seemed within grasp, Alex witnessed a subtle shift, a realization that perhaps war itself was necessary to maintain the fragile equilibrium of the world. Join Alex on his journey as he navigates the intricate web of alliances and rivalries, leading the unofficially most potent nation in the world – the Empire of Draconia. Built upon the foundations of blood, sweat, and tears, Draconia embodies the vision and determination of its founder, Alex Luker Draco. As he grapples with the complexities of morality and power, Alex endeavors to ensure that his actions reflect the principles he espouses, shaping the destiny of nations and leaving an indelible mark on the tapestry of history. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ This is my first ever written novel came from my imagination that started in highschool although im not a skilled novel writer this is my first and many other stories i wish to release Release dates: only on fridays other days depending on the reason or context

**4th Imperial Fleet, 1st

Carrier Strike Group**

**Aircraft Carrier DRS Siegfried**

Captain Cinders looked over the carrier deck as he saw the fighter jets take off. He glanced over the bridge where the crew monitored their screens.

"Any unseen incidents?" he asked.

"None, sir," said the radar man.

**1st Squadron of the 1st Carrier Strike Group**

WOOOOOOSSSSHHHH

The squadron commander conducted a low fly-by and increased speed, causing a sonic boom. Some pilots launched magic flares to intimidate the enemy.

The citizens below shuddered in fear since this was the second time their capital was under attack. The garrison could do nothing but watch in fear as their capital was swarmed.

"Can't we fire our anti-air ballistas?" asked a captain helplessly.

"If we fire, it won't even scratch them," said the commander of the capital garrison next to him. Just then, a loud noise came from behind, causing them to duck.

SWIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSHHH!!!!!!

A fighter jet flew low by them, increasing its speed and pushing them back with the generated air. The jet flew near the civilian area, causing some windows to shatter due to the soundwaves.

**A Few Minutes Later**

"We are almost out of fuel," said the squadron leader, radioing the carrier.

"DRS Siegfried, this is 1st Squadron Commander. We need to refuel. Permission to switch with the second squadron," he said and received word.

"Permission granted. We are sending the second squadron," said the coms officer.

Soon, the first squadron left and, in a matter of minutes, the second squadron arrived, unleashing flares that frightened the citizens.

**1st Squadron POV**

"Huh, a dozen unknown hostiles," said the wingman of the commander.

"This is SQ-1. We have spotted on the radar over a dozen hostiles northwest of your position," said the commander, radioing the Carrier Strike Group.

**DRS Siegfried Bridge**

"Admiral, the first squadron spotted unknown hostiles northwest of our location," said the coms officer.

"I see. Order the third squadron that is right in the skies now," he said.

Soon, the third squadron immediately changed course and headed towards the location of the approaching hostiles.

**A Few Minutes Later**

Over the horizon, they saw ten airships made out of cloth, Cathay-made, with rockets railed at the sides of the basket. This concerned them.

"Let's take them out, boys. This is too dangerous if it gets close to the fleet," the commander said, locking one of his targets and firing a surface-to-air missile.

Boom.

One of the airships exploded, the rockets lit up, and it caused a chain explosion that spread to the others.

"Switch to volley guns. We don't need to waste our missiles here," he said, flicking a switch on his throttle and beginning strafing runs, killing the exposed crew. Some tried to fire their rockets when the jet passed them, but they were delayed.

Soon, the number whittled down to five, and they were forced to retreat, but they were not given reprieve until...

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

One of the fighters got an alert.

"There's something locked on me!" said the pilot. A bright golden beam grazed the fighter jet as the pilot twisted his plane.

"Watch your backs, enemies might be onto us!" shouted the commander as they fell back to the carrier. Soon, they saw a figure leaving the shadows of the clouds.

**Alex POV**

Alex had not slept for the past few days as he monitored the battlefield. He was given overall supreme command and had assigned Ares as his chief of staff, Poseidon for naval operations, and Hermes for scouting and intelligence gathering. He assigned other gods to keep an eye on the advancing force and created three army groups, leading the center himself. Currently, he was 30 km from a city which was an objective.

He split his army into three groups: Army Group A, Army Group B, and Army Group C, with an equal split of the army, but the majority were 4th Legion soldiers. Alex planned to use the 1st Legion as a reserve and executed a three-prong offensive. The first wave consisted of shock troopers of Olympus supported by tanks and forbidden cavalry. But first of all was artillery, as he planned not to lose many soldiers.

Here is the revised version with corrected punctuation and spelling:

---

Alex watched through a screen as he saw his soldiers quickly dig trenches and fire short bursts from their rifles, stopping the charging titans and humans. The machine guns fired in random directions, while sharpshooters picked off any dangerous soldiers carrying explosives.

BOOM.

An explosion was heard from a distance, and a soldier spoke.

"Your Majesty, a titan carrying a hundred tons of explosives was able to charge through the first line of defense and exploded, killing 2,000 Olympus soldiers and severely injuring 500 Draconian soldiers," reported the officer.

Alex responded, "Quickly reinforce that gap and send the injured to the field hospital. For the dead, get their tags and send them to the messaging department to draft the letters."

They quickly agreed.

**On the Trenches**

"Hey, is everything good there?" shouted a Draconian soldier who came running in as part of the reinforcements. Soon, he saw a soldier in ragged armor charging at him. He quickly fired a short burst, killing the attacker on the spot. As he lowered his rifle, he looked around and saw one dead Olympus soldier with bleeding ears and eyes. He removed the dog tag and moved to another soldier, a Draconian who was moving slightly. He grabbed his vest and dragged him while calling for a medic.

"I need a medic over here!" he shouted, and a medic quickly approached the injured man. After applying some medicine, the medic spoke.

"We need to move him now," he said. He pulled out a long metal tube from his storage ring, stretched a fabric over it to make a stretcher, and both of them placed the injured man on it. They brought him to an aid station where he would be transported along with other injured soldiers to the field hospital capable of treating an entire legion.

Alex reminisced about a year ago, at a covert training ground where the 1st Army of Olympus and the 1st Legion trained in offensive and defensive mock battles. Alex knew that in this way, he could see the advantages and disadvantages of both armies.

Ares was taking down notes as he watched Olympus troops dug in, defending against a combined arms attack from the Draconian 1st Legion. It was spearheaded by the trained imperial knights, who were adept in close combat and ranged attacks. As they raised their shields, the 1st Olympus Army artillery, the breach-loading Mark cannons, began firing dummy rounds. But the knights continued to push, and behind them were tanks, firing round after round, causing the 1st line of defense to suffer heavy casualties and get blown off.

They tried to put up a strong defense but were forced to retreat. However, their second line was more like a maze, forcing the tanks to stop. The infantry moved in without tank support and began suffering casualties as they encountered traps and ambushes.

"See, the second line of defense worked," said Ares as he watched the battle continue to rage on, both sides piling up casualties, though they were not dead.

"I can see the effectiveness of this defense, but the problem is that we are dealing with 12-foot-tall men," said Poseidon.

"We can change that, but the problem lies with the loyalty of the officers and soldiers. Right now, tensions are increasing between Zeus and Hera, and the root of it is a son that Zeus fostered, which made Hera mad," Alex said, continuing.

"I have sent agents to monitor him. Currently, he is corrupted and has become a mutant, harboring great hate for Zeus. He is leading a small band of men like him, but I am currently preventing him from going to the Draconian Empire since he knows he could thrive there with the weapons and acceptance of all kinds of races," he finished, drinking some coffee from a thermos he brought.

"Should we, you know, test their loyalty?" Ares suggested.

Alex responded, "We could, but they will always fall to corruption by the rewards of the gods. I'm the person maintaining the status quo. If I leave or become busy, they will have a civil war. For now, I plan to use Draconian agents. Nyx is leading the intelligence agency of Olympus, and she plays both sides of the coin. She knows she can't touch the neutral faction that is under the empire's control."
