Shadows and Survivors: Unveiling the Survivors

Kokugen Kuroi, having declared his authority over the Tomb of Voidhearts, summoned those who would swear loyalty, challenge his rule or venture beyond the island's bounds. The castle's edge became a mob point, a place where fates would be decided under the watchful gaze of the ancient trees.

As the diverse assembly gathered, Kokugen, flanked by Diablo, observed the multitude before him. Some faces bore expressions of determination, while others betrayed a flicker of uncertainty. The air buzzed with anticipation as the deadline for departure loomed.

In a display of his newfound powers, Kokugen raised a commanding hand, and shadows merged into a massive hourglass suspended in the air. The sands within began their slow descent, marking the hour granted for decisions to be made.

"Within this hourglass, your destinies will be shaped," Kuroi declared, his voice carrying over the gathering. "Pledge allegiance, challenge my rule, or venture beyond. The jungle conceals both the safety of my dominion and the mysteries of the unknown. Choose wisely."

As the sands trickled down, those who remained faced a profound choice. The dense jungle, holding its secrets close, seemed to echo with the weight of decisions being made. The hourglass cast a shadow over the assembly, a concrete reminder of the fleeting time within which destinies hung in balance.

With the fate of his newfound subjects settled for the time being, Kokugen turned his attention to the border of the island. Exploring the boundaries, he sought to understand the extent of his dominion. The dense jungle concealed ancient mysteries, and the distant roar of untamed beasts echoed through the air.

In this exploration, a chance encounter awaited him—a weathered shipwreck nestled against the rocky shore. The remnants of the vessel told a tale of rowdy journeys and the cruel embrace of the island's treacherous shores.

Kokugen approached the wreckage, his eyes scanning the surroundings. Amidst the debris, he discovered seven unconscious individuals, survivors of the shipwreck. A mix of genders and skills, they represented a curious ensemble. The unconscious state of the group hinted at a mysterious arrival, and Kokugen, interested, decided to bring them to the safety of his castle. Kokugen sought out Diablo. The formidable demon materialized, his eyes gleaming with infernal curiosity.

Kokugen turned to Diablo, "Diablo, these individuals are survivors of a shipwreck. Carry them to the castle and tend to their needs. We'll learn their stories soon enough."

Diablo nodded, his ominous wings unfolding. With an effortless motion, he scooped up the unconscious survivors, carrying them with an otherworldly grace.

As Diablo ascended to the castle with his precious cargo, Kokugen followed, anticipation building within him. The castle, a bastion of shadows and ancient power, awaited the arrival of those who would play a part in the island's unfolding saga.

Within the castle's walls, the newcomers gradually regained consciousness. Fear and confusion etched across their faces as they found themselves in an unfamiliar place. The sight of Diablo, an imposing demon, triggered defensive instincts among the group, leading to a brief clash.

Diablo, relishing the challenge, grinned wickedly. "It seems our guests aren't fond of my presence, Master," he remarked, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

The man wearing a knight suit among the newcomers, attempting to assert dominance, raised his weapon. "Stay back, demon! We won't be intimidated."

Kokugen, observing the unfolding tension, stepped forward with an air of calm authority. "Enough! Diablo, stand down."

The imposing demon obeyed, but not without a lingering grin. The man with a little chubby but sturdy appearance, regaining composure, spoke up, "Where are we, and what is that creature?"

Kokugen explained, "You stand in the Tomb of Voidhearts, under my dominion. And as for Diablo, he's right-hand man and an arc demon, he also saved your life."

One of the girls, eyeing Diablo warily, asked, "Why did you save us, then?"

Kokugen replied, "In this dominion, I offer sanctuary to those in need. Share your tale, for the echoes of your stories will shape our future."

New arrivals? Are they by any chance some hunting group sent by the hunter Kuroi spared? Why were they in such a mess if they came to attack the palace.
