CHAPTER 36 Escape Route 2
Flashing me a smile and taking my hand in his, we made our way inside, and it was a cosy and warm venue, which I was thankful for. Getting seated at a table near to an open fire, we both grabbed a menu and started to peruse the delights that were on offer.
“What would you like to eat and drink?” he offered, glancing up from his menu.
“Erm, I’d love a normal, white coffee, and a breakfast bagel, please.” I smiled, laying my menu down.
“Great, I’ll go order.”
Taking my menu away, Dawson headed up to the bar, and this was so much better than the last date I had been on. Dawson had wanted to know what I wanted as well, and had not ordered on my behalf, so he was definitely a gentleman, instead of a sleazy pig.
