Beginning of a Chaos

Corcika seems to be a land that resembles our planet Earth. People here were identical to those who were on Earth. There were structures and cutting-edge technology. There was no significant different between the planets. Corcika's capital city was Arkensaw. It was a lovely city. It was surrounded by desert in the north and sea in the west, a pathway to another city located in the south, and one of Corcika's widest woodlands in the east.

It is simply another day in Arkensaw. People continue to go about their daily lives as usual. A disfigured figure popped up seemingly out of nowhere and began to walk toward the crowd.

"What precisely is that?" Someone pointed towards the figure and uttered loudly.

It piqued the interest of everyone in the vicinity. They were all gazing at the figure. It was walking mysteriously.

As it approached closer and closer, they could see its face and body. It was drenched in blood. It was growling like a wild animal. Its saliva was dripping all over the floor. Its clothes were sullied. It emitted a strong but strange odor. It appeared to be extremely unappealing. After witnessing that thing's ugliness, even the ugly duckling would be delighted.

"Is that what I think it is?" someone questioned.

"Wait, isn't it a zombie?" remarked another, screaming.

"You must flee for your life," one witness said. They then began fleeing as if it were the end of the world. Given the circumstances, it could truly be the end.

People took some time to process before fleeing from the area. One child seemed to have no idea what was going on and was standing in the middle, completely baffled. The zombie then began walking toward the child. The mother screamed hysterically.

Suddenly,

"Bam"

The zombie was hit so hard on the head that his skull shattered. It landed on the ground and twitched for a few moments before stopping moving.

"Thankfully, I wasn't late. Is everything all right, little girl?" While wiping the blood off his bat, Hades inquired.

The girl smiled innocently and said, "Brother, I am fine."

The mother of the young girl dashed over to her daughter. She hugged her daughter and sobbed uncontrollably. She was overjoyed to find her daughter alive and well. She kept bowing her head towards Hades. She was grateful to Hades for saving her daughter's life.

"Thank you very much, sir. I would have lost my only child if it hadn't been for you. I was clutching my daughter's hand. But as the crowd began to flee in fear, my daughter and I became separated. My heart stopped when I saw her so far away from me and that thing approaching her. I am a horrible mother. I was unable to save her, but you did. Thank you so much."

"It was nothing, Madam. I was simply doing things that I am capable of. Please be cautious from now on."

Hades said this while smiling. He then patted the young girl's head and walked away with his bat.

The little girl had no idea she had narrowly avoided death. But she had a feeling the brother had assisted her. She smiled brightly and waved to Hades. Hades also waved her goodbye.

The mother tightly grips her daughter's hand, frightened that history will recur itself if she is not careful with her daughter. The mother and daughter then walked hand in hand to their home
