CHAPTER 37: THE SPIRIT OF MY MOTHER

In the DIMENSION OF DARKNESS, WASHI can hear the slight noise of water, as if it were a nearby river, little by little he can see that it is the river next to his parents' house, there is KEKI, at the moment when the accident happens on the day of his birth,

After picking his vegetables from his garden, the moment the squirrel caused him to fall.

A stabbing pain sticks in her lower belly.

Then, a pain that starts from the front of her belly travels down both sides to her lower back, sticking there.

His mother's painful walk crawling into the house.

He observes his mother, during the journey, talking to her baby, so that he is calm and does not try to help her, since, by the power he possesses, it would cause him more damage.

KEKI's voice, sore, trying to sound soft.

All this stirs the heart of WASHI.

A lump in her throat and an anxiety full of helplessness corrodes her.

At some point, WASHI, from her mother's womb, tried to heal her, causing her great pain.

He can also see his father, fighting the river, desperate, to get home in the middle of the storm.

He has never seen his father like this before, so much anguish on his face, makes him feel very cold.

WASHI, witnesses the moment of his painful birth, and when it was his mother who gave him his first kiss after his birth just before losing consciousness.

Uncontrollable tears emerge from WASHI's eyes, burning like fire inside.

Never before has she felt more loved in the world.

He wanted to speak, but, his voice just didn't come out.

He can see his father, dirty, tired and desperate, full of terror from approaching the house.

Looking at the ground, full of blood marks and signs that KEKI crawled into the house.

She runs in search of KEKI, whom she sees, apparently asleep, fearing the worst.

You can see him looking at the floor full of blood.

TOIRE feels dizzy, dazed by such a scenario.

His hands tremble, his lips too, he is unable to articulate words.

Check the condition in which his wife is.

You can discover all the blood under the sheets, the bluish tone of her lips and her pale skin.

His pulse is very weak, but he still lives.

TOIRE's voice begins to break.

He pauses briefly, feeling his despair take hold of him.

He watches her, with wet eyes, holding his wife's hand, who stares at the roof of the house.

WASHI's soul is shattered when TOIRE discovers WASHI, newborn in one of KEKI's arms.

TOIRE finally breaks down, smiles hopelessly.

With helplessness, he witnesses how his beloved wife is losing her life.

It has no healing powers, nor anything that helps KEKI.

Heartbroken, he hugs his daughter, bringing her closer to KEKI, and speaks to his wife.

As if their world is ending.

Tears drain from KEKI's eyes.

TOIRE knows that it still listens to them.

He kisses his wife, feels how the cold has taken over his body.

TOIRE's face fades.

He thanks his wife for the beautiful gift she has given him, she has made him a father, but, his daughter, needs them both.

He begs him not to leave them.

TOIRE, can see KEKI's eyes, the faint fabric in her eyes, lets her know that, she can no longer see them.

A very faint smile is drawn on KEKI's lips.

TOIRE, seeing that he moves his lips brings his ear closer.

KEKI says his last words: I LOVE YOU TOIRE... he, takes KEKI's hand while, with the other carries his daughter.

You can feel KEKI's life slowly slipping away.

It is petrified.

This was, the last moment of his mother's life and the suffering of TOIRE to see his beloved wife dying, the pain and despair of TOIRE with her in her arms.

His father's suffering has left a mark on him...

A man as noble, as dedicated as he, is his father.

She loves him as a father.

It hurts TOIRE, it hurts his pain, the loss of KEKI is as if he lost his life itself.

Outside the house, a great storm has been unleashed, as if the sky, in rebellious mourning throughout UNDERWORLD.

Followed by a huge shower of stars.

WASHI loses control of itself.

She no longer screams, it is a pain so deep that it has left her catatonic, plunged into despair.

Motionless.

In silence.
