They Are Coming

Looking at the skills, Miller's eyes had met the skill named Shadow Devourer. He didn't know why the System wanted him to buy that one but he knew it was for the greater good. The System sometimes had his best interests at heart and right now, what would the System gain if it lied to Miller?

There was one thing, Miller didn't like. It was the fact that the skill was expensive, although not that expensive as others. The skill was worth five hundred coins. Miller had seen skills a lot cheaper than that. Like Shadow Tracker and Shadow Whisper which were both fifty coins worth respectively.

"What exactly can that skill do?" Miller asked the System.

"What fun would it be if i told you right away before you bought it." The System said.

"Fine?" Miller replied. Miller knew that if he kept on persuading the System would end of ignoring him.

"Open the Energy Manipulation Ability." Miller said.

The Energy Manipulation section was opened and at the top center the words Energy Manipulation was written.

In this section only four energies skills were written and the fourth one was granted, which meant Miller didn't have an access to it yet.

The skills are:

Green Energy; which Miller currently has access to.

Energy Absorbtion; which is worth fifty thousand coins.

Blue Energy; which is worth Ten Million Coins.

Red Energy; which was grayed out indicating Miller had no access to it currently and where the cost would have been so many question marks were seen. Indicating the System can't grant him that right now.

"Wow." Miller said.

Seeing these energies list reminded Miller of the prophecy that Zabat had told him in the Mevorotrians prison (Chapter 18). He knew he was the long awaited Saviour because the System had told him so and he was the one destined to wipe out the Mevorotrians someday.

"Miller there is something else you need to know." The System said. "In the Construct Forge, you can use your abilities limitless because it's all your imagination."

"In reality, you can't do that. There is points to each of the abilities. Shadow Points; can be abbreviated as SP. Energy Points; can be abbreviated as EP." The System said.

These words then displayed on the holographic screen;

[SHADOW POINTS : 100/100]

[ENERGY POINTS: 100/100]

"The more you use that Ability, the more the points reduce." The System said.

"So is there any fuel for it?" Miller asked.

"There is. You would have to rest." The System said. "I don't mean sleep. I mean to stop using it and it would gradually fuel itself and before you know it. It's already hundred again."

"The more skills, you unlock the more your points get stronger. The number doesn't increase. But the more the skills you unlock, the lesser it would take for it to finish."

"So when fighting in this real world, unlike the Construct Forge. You have think fast and try your best to knock your opponent before your Points go to finish." The System concluded. "The more skills you unlock, the more Stronger you would be."

"As for you energy attacks." The System said. "The stronger you get physically, the more stronger the attacks would be."

"For example, if you were to stab Someone like Zeus..." The System stopped his sentence.

"What is it." Miller said. "Continue, Zeus doesn't exist. He is just a belief ancient greeks have."

'Why are humans so dump.' The System thought.

"If you stab someone far stronger than you. It wouldn't penetrate easily. If it is only a little stronger than you. The attack would still enter."

"Okay. Noted." Miller said playfully. "So is this the only news you have to tell me?" Miller asked.

"No that's not all." The System replied. "There's more."

Honestly speaking, the next set of words the System wanted to keep it away from Miller. He knew Miller would be so worried, but what could he do. If he doesn't inform Miller of the impending and inevitable danger, it could be at the lose of Miller's own life.

"So what is it?" Miller asked.

"When you went Killer Mode. Although it doesn't happen whenever you go Killer Mode. It only happened because your Health Points went to Zero." The System said. "In order words Miller. You died."

Miller almost laughed out loud. "I get it. You trying to make me laugh."

"No, Miller this is serious." The System said. "You were able to trick death by using James."

The System then went on top explain that Miller entered the realm of death when his health points entered Zero and because of that Death knows who he is (The Chosen One) and what he is.

"So why should i worry if she knows?" Miller asked.

"It's because most of the gods hate ASTRAR." The System said. "ASTRAR is a god although not worshiped by humans. Most of the other gods hate him. Zeus and many more."

"Zeus." Miller said.

"Yes, Miller." The System said. "Zeus does exist."

"Miller what I wanted to tell you is that. Death knows of your existence, I don't know if she has a grudge against ASTAR herself. But if she tells the gods and demons..." The System was interrupted by Miller's next words.

"Demons." Miller interrupted him almost shouting out physically.

"Yes. Miller, there are so many Creatures in existence that you haven't meet yet. So many Beats, Elves, Mystical Creatures, Creatures that are bound to a Realm, Griffin, Living Planets and so many more." The System said. "The Multiverse is big, but it is like a dot compared to the realms outside humans comprehension."

"Miller back to the main points. I don't know how many gods or demons have a strong grudge against ASTRAR. you being the Avatar of ASTRAR. They would believe that hurting you would be their payback." The System said those words slowly so that Miller could feel the weight. "Miller, they are coming for you."

After telling Miller these things, The System had one thought in his mind that he hasn't told Miller yet.

'James Theodore, you ought to have died when Miller stabbed you.' The System thought. 'The only explanation is that you are a minion of a god or demon.'

'You have your own secret James Theodore. Who is your master?'
