Prove Yourself Worthy

[FIRST QUEST]

[PROVE TO THE SYSTEM THAT YOU ARE DESERVING OF THESE POWERS]

[YOU MUST DO THIS WITHIN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS OR YOU WILL BE REJECTED].

[YOUR TIME BEGINS NOW].

After checking everything that the system had to offer, Miller just had to think about closing the system and it did. When he thought about opening it again, the screen immediately popped up in front of him.

"What does being a chosen one mean, System?" Miller asked the system.

"The chosen one is a person who was destined long ago to change the course of history," the system said, its tone grave and solemn. "I cannot reveal any more, but know that your destiny is intertwined with that of the chosen one. Your fates are bound together, in ways that you cannot yet comprehend." There was a long, ominous pause. "You must trust in me, and in your own strength, to see this through to the end. I will tell you all in time, when the moment is right."

"Why can't you just tell me who is a chosen one?" Miller asked in annoyance.

"I want to tell you, but I can't, Maybe it is my programming" the system complained.

Miller just let out a big sigh without even saying anything back. Honestly speaking, Miller was offended by the system's reply, but he did not even bother pushing further since the system doesn't want to tell him.

"So about the quest you gave to me" Miller said. Miller saw the quest as a game and he thought it would be quite fun for him. "How can i prove my WORTHINESS?" He asked.

"You can only be proven Worthy by the circumstances around you" the system said.

"That is really confusing, is there any personal task, i would have to perform to become worthy?" MILLER asked.

"Honestly speaking, I don't know" the system replied.

Miller was now angry. How can the system not know how to complete a task it gave to him.

*******

James had finally woken up and he was now in the room with Miller. James had explained his entire side of the story, while Miller did thesame. They both exchange information with each other.

"So what about the little boy and the beautiful lady won't you take them home?" Miller asked James.

"You mean Earth?" James replied confused.

"Yes, Earth" said Miller.

"No, they are not humans" James said.

"What if they are Mutants from Earth that were captured by the Mevorotrians" Miller said.

"Okay, but what if we get to Earth, will i still get arrested by the Anti-Meta Human Officer (Derek)?" James asked.

(NOTE: WHY JAMES HAD NOT BEEN ARRESTED WAS BECAUSE ANTI-META HUMAN TRAVELLERS DID NOT HAVE THE JURISDICTION BY LAW TO ARREST MUTANTS. THE ANTI-META HUMAN TRAVELLERS HAD THE JURISDICTION BY LAW TO ONLY PROTECT THE SHELTERS HUMANS HAD ON DIFFERENT PLANET. THE ONLY TIME THEY CAN KILL A MUTANT WAS IF, THE MUTANTS WAS A THREAT TO THE SHELTER. MOST SHELTERS WERE OCCUPIED BY CIVILIAN'S AND ANTI-META HUMAN TRAVELLERS, BUT THIS ONE WAS NOT SO, BECAUSE THE ENTIRE PLANET HAD NOT YET BEEN RESEARCH ON. WHEN THE ENTIRE PLANET WAS THEN RESEARCHED ON, THEN CIVILIANS WOULD BE GIVEN THE RIGHT TO COME AND RESIDE ON THE PLANET).

"I don't know if they are going to let Derek leave this place, from what i heard, Derek was never on a mission sent by the government." Miller said those words slowly.

"so if he wasn't sent by the government, who sent him?" James asked.

"that is what we don't know yet, and Derek doesn't want to spiel it out" Miller said.

Moments later, Miller and James were done with their conversation. James and Miller wanted to go find Kisa'Kei and the others; they knew they were no longer on the stadium because everyone had ran because of the white light. But before leaving James and Miller wanted Zabat and Getrax to go with them. They now considered them friends.

Miller did not tell James about the system or anything about it. James knew that Miller was the long awaited Saviour but he kept it to himself.

When they got to the cell, the cell guards refused to let them in and refused to let Zabat and Getrax out of the place.

"We cannot let them leave, you have to take command from General Tyler" One of them said in a harsh tone. The volume of his voice was like he was talking to his long time nemesis/enemy.

"Let them do what they want, they are humans remember, we are not Anti-Meta Human Officer, we are distinct from them, we are Travellers, let them take who they want" A voice from behind said. It was Tyler.

*******

The four of them were now outside, they first of all headed to the stadium; they saw no one.

"Should we go to Lela'Naru?" Getrax suggested.

"No, let us keep checking" James said.

(NOTE: JAMES WAS NOW IN CONTROL OF THE BODY)

As they moved to and fro in the city of Kor'me'Lore, they observed many Amargan children playing and more. They were currently at the Market. After searching the Market area and asking people. James brought a suggestion that they should check Mala Ses.

The movement was now exhausting even for Getrax. To be honest, Getrax naturally did not care about the little boy and the beautiful lady, his major aim was just for him to go back home and meet his family.

They were now at the ruined city of Mala Ses. So many Amargans and Anti-Meta Human travelers soldiers were present at the scene. Looking among the crowd of people, he finally found the little boy. How James immediately noticed was through the white tail.

"Over there" James said pointing at that direction.

James and the other three finally got there and meet them. The little boy mood changed, he was extremely happy as he gave Getrax a big hug. The beautiful lady, on the other hand, remained neutral.

"The light was really bright."

"Yes, it affected most, it even blinded most people."

"What should we do?"

"i hope the great war is not going to repeat itself."

Most of the Amargans present were talking. Kisa'Kei and Taj'Kei did not even act like James was there. They were too focused on the white light.

Miller knew the bright white light had happened because of him. He knew that if it was true that the white light blinded some Amargans, he was liable and that made him feel guilty.

"Hey Kisa," Getrax said. Getrax was a little offended that they pretended like they did not see them.

"Hey Getrax, If it is about the payment, Don't worry about it, Our Mum said we should just let you guys go". Kisa'Kei said with a smile.

As Kisa's words echoed through the air, an eerie silence settled, only to be shattered by the thunderous rumble of approaching chaos. The ground trembled beneath their feet as the desperate stampede of terrified Amargans drew nearer, their hearts pounding in sync with the deafening cacophony. But it was the monstrous shadow cast upon the horizon, a colossal creature spanning a jaw-dropping 30 feet in length, that sent shivers down their spines. Little did they know, their battle for survival was about to reach unimaginable heights.

Then suddenly a dinging message was heard only by Miller as green words flickered on his retina. The words were from the system:

[RACE: XYLORTHRAX]

[QUEST: PROVE TO THE SYSTEM YOU ARE WORTHY BY PREVENTING THE XYLORTHRAX FROM KILLING ANYONE]

The system's command appeared in front of Miller, and he could feel the weight of its words. If he didn't complete this quest, not only would he fail to prove his worth, but innocent lives would be lost to the jaws of the fearsome Xylorthrax. The stakes were high, and time was running out. He had to act quickly, or the consequences would be dire.
